They finally reached where the rest of the players were and opened the door, as soon as Alex stepped in all the players' eyes immediately turned to him, even the healers in the room stared at him till he took a seat.
All the players were looking at him like he was some kind of monster and they were right to think so, Alex singlehandedly killed 100 players with a large smile on his face.
Though he wasn't in control of his body but none of them were going to believe that, the tournament was even put on hold for his sake.
All the players could see the increase in his level, he was now at level 20 and the highest player after him was at level 16.
Alex sat down ignoring the glares he got from other players, even though they wouldn't admit it, all of them were scared of him, and the third round required him to choose an opponent to duel with.
'Wait, if the demon king is coming to destroy the earth, what about the people not playing Nova Online, I still don't think it's possible, maybe the game is playing tricks with me by giving me those powers'
"Wait...wait what about my demon blade?" Alex shouted and turn towards the girls.
"Hey girls when I fought in the arena I dropped my daggers, where are they, I almost forgot?" Alex asked.
"You are right, I'm with both of them," Lena said and removed Alex's daggers from her waist.

Alex quickly opened his inventory and kept both of his daggers inside, one steel dagger was already inside making the total of 3 daggers.
After some minutes the blond man stepped in and this time he had an irritated look on his face, the assassin he sent to take care of Alex ended up being Alex's second target.
*Cough*
"Now that all the contestants are here the third round will now begin, first each of you would choose an opponent to duel with" the man spoke.
"Each of the contestants must agree to duel against each other, random opponents would be assigned to contestants with no partner, and note to win your opponent means to end his life" the man said.
"Then how would you decide who gets 1 place or 2 place?" one of the players asked.
"Each and every one of you have already been ranked, your performance through out the fight determines your place, and currently he's the top" the blond man pointed at Alex a she spoke making all the players look at him again.
Alex didn't care about them cause he knew none of them would be able to defeat him.
"As he's the top, defeating him in a duel automatically makes you the top" the man said but the players were not foolish enough to actually accept his challenge.
"Each of you would get 3 minutes to kill your opponent, after 3 minutes and there is no winner, a beast would be released into the arena, and after another three minutes two beasts would be released again till one of the fighters is dead"
Immediately the man finished speaking and left all the players began searching for partners to duel with, Alex didn't leave his seat cause he knew no one would accept, all he had to do was wait for the unlucky person who was going to fight him.
"Duel with me" a mage spoke.
"I already have a partner"
"Hey duel with me, I'm a mage, I'm not that strong"
"I have a partner"
"Fuck, everyone already have partners, now I have to duel with that crazy bastard" the mage cursed.
All 18 players now had partners and only Alex and the mage were left, Alex wasn't interested in asking anyone and the mage had no one to ask, the mage looked around and walked up to Alex fearlessly.
"Would you duel with me?" the mage asked.

Alex looked up and saw the Mage's name and level, all the players immediately focused their attention on both of them as Alex stared at him, the mage was trying to draw attention to show the other players he wasn't scared.
"Sure" Alex replied, he was going to try his best to win.
"Get ready for the third round" a voice spoke and the door was already opened.
All the players walked out of the door and the crowd cheered loudly, all the crowd were focused on Alex as they were now convinced he was the strongest among them.
The players were told to stand at the walls of the arena, all 20 players stood at the wall as they waiting for their battle.
"*Clear throat* This is the battle you have all been waiting for, the third round of the arena tournament is about to begin, the rules are simple, win your opponent before the time runs out or you would have one more opponent to worry about" the man spoke and the crowd cheered.
"First contestants" the man shouted and among the players resting on the wall two of them disappeared and appeared in the middle of the arena.
Both of them were surprised but they immediately knew they were the first fighters, both of them were swordsmen so their battle is destined to be prolonged which would be bad for one of them.
Only one beast was going to be released so if the beast chased after one of them, the other one already has the advantage.
"Fighters ready...start" the man shouted and immediately both of the fighters charged toward themselves.
*Clang!! Clang!!*
After few exchanges all the crowd was bored with their fighting style as what they were doing was exactly the same.
A loud door creeked opened and both of the players knew a beast had been released, the barrier was reduced so the other players wouldn't be attacked at the beasts.
"RAAAAWR" A loud cry was heard as a black wolf stepped inside the arena, now the crowd were already getting excited to see what would happen next but in a second it was already over.
After the beast was released one of the swordsmen shifted his focus to the beast so he wouldn't be caught off guard but he had already forgotten he was currently in a battle.
The other player immediately pounced on him and slashed him with his sword, before the other player could realize his mistake, he was already on the ground and a sharp pain in his hand didn't allow him to raise his sword and finally his neck was slashed.
As soon as the other player was killed the winner was quickly teleported out of the arena as the wolf was already running towards the player.
"Damn...prolonging the fight would be difficult, that guy was killed because of that" one of the players spoke.
After the player had been teleported, the beast was the next to be teleported, the barrier was made by a high level NPC mage that was in charge of the teleportation.
"That battle was a little bored, but the next one would be wonderful, fighters are you ready," the man spoke, none of the players were inside the barrier so they wonder who was going to fight.
"Where are the fighters, I thought..." before Alex could finish his sentence he suddenly appeared inside the barrier in front of the mage.
Immediately the crowd erupted with cheering sounds as soon as they saw Alex, Alex was the favorite player due to all the feats he performed, first killing the wolf and then killing a hundred players in a few minutes, they couldn't wait for the battle to start to see how he would fight this time.
"Fighter ready... fight" the man shouted and Alex immediately brought out both of his dagger and moved backwards a little.
He knew the player in front of him was a mage and fireball spell were especially quick so he wanted to be on the safe side.
"I know I can't defeat you with my strength so I saved this from the beginning, though I was tempted to use it but luckily your crazy killings didn't get to me" the mage mumbled as he brought something out of his inventory.
"What are you talking about," Alex asked.
"You are going to witness power" the mage shouted.
