"N-No...you bas..." before Zen could complete his sentence Alex raised his head and stared at him with a devilish smile on his face.
"I hope your eyes are not like your joints?" Alex asked.
"Good we made it, I hope Alex isn't dead" Gabriel spoke as three of them arrived.
Lynx was the one that shot the bandit running toward Alex but they were still far from where he was.
The group arrived now and what they saw made their jaws drop, Alex was holding Zen's head but they couldn't see the look on his face as they were behind Alex and they also couldn't see his injuries.
"What are you...no noooo..." Zen shouted as Alex brought his dagger close to Zen's face.
"Are you afraid, I thought your body was impenetrable, I hope your eyes are also as hard as a rock" Alex shouted as he drove the dagger into one of Zen's eyes.
"Aarrghhh!!!" Zen screamed, but ultimately there was only one thing he could do, both his legs were torn and he couldn't stand, one of his hands was also immovable but his other hand was okay, even though it was okay he was beyond weak.
Zen used all the strength he had in his hand to push Alex away from him, even though a dagger was sticking out of his eyes he didn't care as he knew there was still something he could do.
Alex fell down as he wasn't balanced and his left hand was gone so he couldn't stop himself from falling, but he quickly stood up from the ground and Zen was furiously searching his pocket for something.
Alex knew it wasn't a knife but with the way Zen was searching, it might be a remedy for him.
"Alex left hand!!" Gabriel gasped.
"His hand was cut off while he was fighting, we should go help him" Max spoke as they all moved forward.
Alex stood there watching as Zen finally touched his inner chest pocket, Zen couldn't see Alex standing as he was focused on what he was doing, Alex wanted to know what Zen was searching for, Alex knew Zen had nothing left to do, he could walk or raise his other hand.
"Alex are you okay?" Gabriel shouted as they ran toward him but he heeds no attention to them as Zen finally brought something out.
Alex's eyes widened as Zen brought out a black potion, now that he was a mage he could feel the unusual Mana omitting from the potion and knew he had to stop it.
"Shadow potion..." Alex mouthed as he swung into action.
"Master I'm very sorry" Zen spoke as he brought the potion close to his mouth and used his teeth to open the cover, he wanted to drink the potion but hesitated and at that moment Alex swooped in and grabbed the potion.
Alex hit Zen in the process causing both of them to fall to the ground.
"Master I obeyed your command" Zen mumbled as a tear dropped from his eyes, Alex was on top of Zen so he could hear what he was saying.
"Alex get off him, I'll finish him off" Lynx shouted.
"Don't..." Alex shouted back.
"Huh! You don't want him to be killed?" Gabriel asked.
"Where did you get this potion, tell me about this potion, where can I find it?" Alex shouted.
"Don't drink the potion no matter what" Zen mumbled in a weak voice and closed his second eye.
"You bastard" Alex shouted as he removed the dagger from Zen's eyes causing blood to spill around and plunged it into his neck causing even more blood to flow, though when anyone dies the blood would also disintegrate.

Alex stared at the information in front of him, but all that didn't matter as his eyes were on his health, even though he leveled up his health remained the same meaning he was going to die in two minutes.
"Alex are you okay?" Max asked.
"I'm fine," Alex said as he kept the potion on the ground, he took the cover of the potion and covered it immediately before keeping it in his inventory.
Alex stood up from the ground as the others watched him, one of his hands was gone and he was bleeding from his chest, his clothes were ripped and they could see the part where he was cut but he still claimed to be fine.
"If you are okay, then let's rescue the girls, the sun is almost up," Max said.
'So I'm going to lose five levels, I have a good idea, I'll give everything I have to Gabriel and when I'm back I'll collect them bac...'

Alex landed on the ground with a loud thud as he felt his consciousness fading away, he knew he was going to die but at this time he couldn't even move his hand to remove the item he had in his inventory.
"Alex...Alex" Gabriel shouted.
"I knew he wasn't okay, what about Bridget? I thought she was going to free the girls" Max shouted.

"They are here, Alex stay with me," Gabriel said as he tapped Alex's cheek slightly, the girls were tied up in Zen's room and Bridget freed them.
"Save him he's dying" Max shouted as the three girls ran to his side.

Rebecca quickly touched Alex with both of her healing canes and 20HP was restored and Alex could open his eyes.
Zina and Lena quickly place their hands on his stomach to stop the bleeding, some of his organs were affected and their powers weren't enough to close the wound.
"We can't stop his bleeding" Lena spoke as blood covered her hands.
"So what do we do?" Gabriel asked.
"We'll have to visit a good healing so his organs can be repaired, even if we keep this up he won't be able to last a night, and we'll also run out of Mana eventually"
"But we have no carriage, no means of transportation and we don't know any skilled healer" Lynx shouted.
"Don't shout at them, it's not their fault" Max shouted at Lynx.
"Then what should we do, we can't let him die right, we should think of a solution," Gabriel said.

A space cracked in midair close to Alex and all of them jumped away immediately, soon the crack increased and a black space was opened, all of them held their weapons waiting for whatever was causing the crack as they knew it was a portal.
"Hey handsome, what's..." Mary stopped as she saw the situation she was in and raised her hands up.
"Who are you?" Max asked.
"I'm a friend of...what happened!!!" Mary shouted as she saw Alex on the ground barely breathing.
"I don't think she hostile, does she know Alex" Max mumbled.
"Are you by chance a mage, can you save him?" Lena asked immediately.
"Didn't you see what I did, I used space magic so I'm clearly not a mage, he's going to die at this rate, don't you have a healer?" Mary asked.
"The cut is too deep so we can't do anything but slow his death, we have to get him to a healer, we could use your portal" Zina shouted.
"That's right" Gabriel added.
"Where would we find a healer, you know I can't just appear anywhere right," Mary said.
"That's right, is there a healer in Melmond that can heal Alex" Lena looked around thinking of all the healers she knew.
"Wait, I have something" Mary shouted and quickly slipped her hands into her pocket.
"You have something that can heal him?"
Mary brought out the orb of resurrection that she brought for Alex, the orb was powerful enough to bring someone back from the dead if the person haven't been dead for long, Mary quickly opened Alex's mouth and placed the orb inside.
"Is that a healing orb?" Lena asked.
"No," Mary said as she stabbed Ray straight in his heart.
