CH 11.1

Actors need a sense of vulnerability that can be destroyed.

Jiang Qi is exactly that.

Although he played a depressed and cruel psychopath teenager in "Wang Tian", he still had a quality that most people his age lack in the industry - a sense of vulnerability.

This feeling makes people want to delve deeper into the experiences he went through. Shen Lei was curious and so was Wang Zhaoqiu.

Those melon eaters who bash him on the Internet all have the same mentality and couldn't help but pay attention to him.

Even Meng Chunyu was very curious about Jiang Qi, so she would ask Zhiqi now and then. But Zhiqi would only answer how she knew Jiang Qi because she was a former classmate of his. Also, she firmly knew he was not in prison because of the so-called 'revelations' on the Internet. Thus, she didn't talk about the rest.

The girl didn't want to use the past events that she and Jiang Qi had experienced as a topic of conversation when chatting with others. Even if it was nothing, he was her soft White Moonlight in the corner of her heart. (TN: White Moonlight refers to a cherished memory of the first blush of love, pure and unsullied by reality.)

Zhiqi contacted Jiang Yu about the tickets for the fan meeting. The voice on the phone was hesitant and sounded rather embarrassed.

"Sister Yu." Zhiqi is an intuitive girl, after hearing this, she blinked and smiled lightly to relieve the other party's embarrassment: "If it's troublesome, I'll grab it myself."

"Hey, you can't easily get it." Jiang Yu sighed, she was very clear about the business of buying tickets on websites.

She said with some guilt, "I'm sorry, Qiqi, my brother has been in a bad mood recently, acting like a lunatic. I talked to him about the tickets, but he didn't agree."

Inexplicably, Zhiqi suddenly thought of the last time Jiang Yu said that her brother tried to sign a contract with Jiang Qi but it was only an attempt.

Given Jiang Qi's temper... Maybe Jiang Yu's brother is angry because of this reason. How could he be willing to help her being a fan of Jiang Qi? With this in mind, she couldn't help but want to laugh.

Her mind was very clear and vivid. She already thought about what happened within two to three seconds.

Zhiqi bit her lower lip, making the dimples on her cheeks deepen. Her voice was gentle and soft as she spoke, "It's okay Sister Yu, I'll find a way by myself."

Anyway, she didn't want to ask for help from people who had a conflict with Jiang Qi.

Jiang Yu seemed to feel very embarrassed and repeatedly said that she would try to help and ask again, but Zhiqi just didn’t refute her.

On the day of the ticket sale, Zhiqi who rarely stayed up all night did the opposite. She was awake till midnight with heavy eyelids. She and Meng Chunyu both stared at the App’s page without blinking to click with the fastest speed the seats in the VIP area.

Unfortunately, they still didn't get it.

Even if she and Meng Chunyu fought together, they could only watch the tickets being sold out in an instant... How could human beings compare to the machines in the hands of scalpers?

Zhi Qi was so disappointed that she couldn't fall asleep, her eyes staring at the phone looking lost.

Meng Chunyu was afraid that she would cry, so she quickly comforted her, "That... Qiqi, don't worry, there is still a way."

Zhiqi sniffed and asked aggrievedly, "What can I do?"

Meng Chunyu was worthy of being a Senior Star-chasing girl at the "Veteran" level. Thinking back to her past experiences of not being able to get tickets for concerts, she gave a very appropriate suggestion——

"Uh, you can search for keywords about this fan meeting on Weibo. Maybe some fans who were able to grab the tickets will sell them at a higher price, or there will be those who couldn’t attend and change their minds."

Basically, this kind of situation happens at every celebrity fan meeting, concert, and other types of gathering. It is all about hand speed and financial resources.

In the next few days, Zhiqi basically stared at her mobile phone except during class, when she was writing papers, or doing experiments.

When she saw a fan who had issued a ticket, she went to send a private message and asked in a flash – as a result, she was almost deceived by a scalper. Zhiqi is a girl with a strong sense of justice and always adheres to the principle of not buying from scalpers.

Another half a month had passed. As the meeting date is getting closer and closer and she hasn’t gotten a ticket yet, she couldn’t help but feel more and more anxious...

In the end, it was fortunate she was able to meet a real fan who couldn't go to the scene because of a personal issue and placed the ticket on sale on Weibo. After inquiring, Zhiqi agreed to increase the price for her by 200. The two went through the process on Xianyu happily. (TN: Xianyu is an e-commerce platform of Alibaba in China)

The most surprising thing was that the fan who sold the ticket also came from the same city as her.

The girl with the nickname 'MeiXianxian' enthusiastically messaged her on Weibo, "Ah, I'm also near the University Town! Shall we meet and pay for the tickets? We can save the postage."

This girl really knows how to live, Zhiqi couldn't help laughing and agreed with a smile.

After chatting with Mei Xianxian, the smile on the girl's lips remained. As usual, she went to Weibo to send Jiang Qi a private message ——

[I bought the tickets for the Fan meeting.]

[See you on the eighteenth, little dolphin.]
