Chapter 13: Returning to the Marvel World

_

“Smooth return!”

Upon returning, Cain looked around his surroundings and confirmed that he was in his living room. He looked at the clock in his home and was astonished, “Only two days have passed? The time ratio was five to one!”

Cain brought up the trading system panel and understood the situation. Initially, the time ratio was set up when the world trading objective was established. However, as trading became more frequent and in-depth, the time ratio between the two worlds returned to normal, and the time ratio was bidirectional.

“Things will be better in the future. For now, this is how it is.”

This was the rule of the trading system, and Cain could not change it. He could only use this golden finger to become stronger quickly.

The first trading gain was not significant other than the assets and money in the Naruto world. Cain’s biggest gain was more than fifty kilograms of gold. The firearms he used to protect himself were not used much and could be saved to establish a future force.

Once Cain’s power in the Naruto world grew, he could contact Orochimaru. This guy cooperated with Danzo because Root could provide money, materials, and Hashirama’s cells, except for the latter, which Cain could also provide to Orochimaru. Moreover, Cain believed that some biological research in the Marvel world would have a strong attraction to Orochimaru.

“I need to establish a trading company to cover up my tracks, a biotechnology company, and a channel for selling gold…”

As for the gold, if he had dozens of kilograms of it at once, Cain could still rely on some of his connections to get rid of it. However, if more gold were traded in the future, Cain would undoubtedly be watched.

“Only two days have passed, and nothing has happened. Before going to the Naruto world next time, I must register the company and hire a lawyer.”

Cain looked at the accumulated mail in his mailbox and found nothing important to note. He then thought about the scarce resources in the Naruto world and ordered more food and medicine. During the war, these two were the only hard currency, and the vegetable market in Konoha was also deserted because there were not many items to sell.

After making two phone calls to order another batch of goods, Cain called Carl’s father, planning to visit him tonight. Carl couldn’t help with the task of finding a lawyer to register the company, but Carl’s father, a top broker who often mingled on Wall Street, could help him.

After experiencing other worlds through the golden finger, Cain realized that going to college was no longer a priority.

At night, Carl’s father, Connor, knew that Cain had something to ask him for help with and specifically canceled his other engagements to prepare a dinner that was not particularly delicious but was personally cooked by him.

Steamed bass dipped in soy sauce, Connor didn’t know where he learned this recipe, but he thought it was a delicious dish.

Moreover, Carl had tricked Connor into thinking his cooking skills were good long ago when he wanted some pocket money. Over time, Connor truly believed that his cooking skills were excellent. When Cain came to visit him, he cooked three steamed basses and poured out three small soy sauce dishes.

Upon Cain’s arrival at Connor’s home, he was immediately escorted to the dining table. “Cain, you have to try my cooking today. This sea bass is incredibly fresh. If I ever get my hands on fish this fresh again, I might be tempted to try it raw with some wasabi,” Connor stated as he seated Cain.

“Thank you, Uncle Connor,” Cain replied. He cut a small piece of sea bass and swallowed it directly into his throat. Then he took a sip of juice and got straight to the point.

“Uncle Connor, I want to start two companies. Do you know anyone in this business? Where should I look for managers if I want to hire some?” Cain asked.

As soon as Cain finished speaking, Carl, who was seated beside him, waved his fork and knife excitedly. “That’s great, my brother! I also think the Lightning Combination doesn’t have the same impressive name as the Wall Street Lightning Company. You finally…”

“Hold on, Carl. This conversation has nothing to do with Lightning. Let’s talk about it another time,” Cain interrupted Carl’s speech, eager to discuss his plans for a trade and biotech company. Although Carl was knowledgeable in finance, he tended to be immature, a trait that hadn’t waned even as he was about to enter college.

“A registered company? I happen to know someone in that field. Let me find his business card for you,” Connor offered, retrieving the card from his desk after a brief moment of reflection. “Cain, are you certain about focusing on a trade and biotech company instead of a securities company?” he asked, curious about Cain’s decision.

“I will be involved in securities too, but these two are my priority, Uncle Connor,” Cain replied confidently. Connor had recognized Cain’s exceptional learning ability and financial understanding a few years ago and had since stopped treating him as a younger family member and instead as a peer.

Connor saw great potential in Cain and his son and had mobilized a significant amount of funds to invest alongside his son and turn a profit. Although trade and biotech were not Connor’s areas of expertise, he was willing to invest and potentially join a securities company if the opportunity presented itself.

After the dinner, Cain was introduced to the person by Connor, who promised that he would communicate with the person first before Cain contacted him. The next day, Cain went to the address on the business card and found the company recommended by Connor. After being welcomed by the person there, Cain presented his request.

Registering a company was a small matter and could be done easily. Cain left the task to them, which could be done within three days. If he needed their help renting an office, it would only take two more days to get it done.

To save time, Cain decided to hand over the job to them. Although it would take a few more days, it would save him a lot of time. He needed a trading company to cover up his true intentions. This company did not have to make money, but it had to have the ability to handle large quantities of goods. However, building it from scratch would be troublesome, so Cain needed to recruit several assistants who could perfectly execute his commands.

At this stage, he only needed someone who could execute his commands perfectly and was honest and obedient. When the company grew, Cain needed someone who could oversee everything, like Pepper Potts from Stark Industries.
