CH 42.2

Chapter 42.2. Let’s Conquer The Dungeon!

Grandpa laughs at my angry tone. He probably thinks I’m too nice. It doesn’t matter. Miu is a good girl.

Of course, the mithril eater is going to the train. It’s not an event monster or anything. It’s just a small fry monster.

It’s just a monster for a money-making scheme in a game that is used for the same money-making scheme in reality. It’s unexpected, but it’s not surprising. Even if they are not players, people in this world are alive. They have the intelligence to think. So it’s natural that a group of people will defeat the tasty monsters, but I didn’t expect the bad guys to use that method to get the money.

I’m going to be so disappointed. I played the game and loved it.

I will destroy this dungeon that feeds on children. No mercy. I’ll raise the bar while I’m at it.

“4th floor!”

I quickly find the stairs to the 4th floor and enter. As we proceeded down the passageway to the back, we found a swarm of winged ants, equipped with swords and shields, camped out on the rocky hillside.

“Feathered ants mean that the enemies here are queen ants. If we meet winged ants here, this is the last floor, grandpa!”

“It’s shallow to be called a dungeon, isn’t it?”

“Except for the secret dungeons, there are a maximum of 10 levels. It’s usually three levels!”

It’s just a design to avoid stress. The developer chose to make it easy, attracting light users and selling downloadable dungeons to heavy users for a fee.

We ignored the winged ants. We proceeded at a steady pace. It is precise because of [Material Reflect] that such unreasonableness is possible. Few people use magic at the opening, and low-level magic can escape before it is activated. It’s not like a game. Fufufufu.

Sleipnir runs at high speed as if it’s flying. Behind it, a swarm of monsters. It’s now a stampede. If you fall off Sleipnir here, you are sure to die. Not a piece of you will be left.

As we proceed through the 4th level, we see a wall that looks like was made of solidified dead flesh. It’s a wall of dead flesh reaching up to the ceiling, 50 meters high. It’s a huge empty cave.

As we approach, a red light shines from the cave. Something crawls out of the cave.

“Kishaaa!”

It must be 10 meters high. It’s the queen ant with a swollen belly led into the cave. It bared its fangs and drooled, confirming that we were her prey. It was an acid drool because it made a sizzling sound, and smoke came from the ground.

It was the queen ant, the boss of this place. A hundred or so of the guard ants came out in droves. They realized that the enemy had arrived.

“In the game, it’s an endless [Call your friends] type battle. But in real life, it’s like that.”

I held back my gray hair, swept away by the wind, and was impressed. It’s just like in the game world. No, it’s the Night of Magic.

“Osh, [look it up].”

Queen Ant, level 52

Royal Guard Ant, level 45.

I expect their level.

“Osh! Odin, do it!”

I use [fight] on the first enemy I encounter. I’m ready to go. With a snap of her index finger against Queen Antoine, Miu commands in a cute voice.

“Either the enemy is stupid. The lady is bold, or both. Either way, you got it.”

“Flame, all-powerful, all-powerful! Use your weakest great magic!”

All ants here are flame-weak. But some of the other monsters are immune to flame, so I’ll mix in the all-powerful attribute, and because of the MP problem, I’ll choose the weakest magic in the great magic system.

“I understand.”

Odin extends his hands and uses his skill.

“Great magic, I see, is very useful.”

His white beard-covered mouth turns into a thin smile.

[Three Consecutive Magic]

[Nova]

[Nova]

My vision is covered in a bright red glow, followed by abyssal darkness and an extreme explosion of light.

“Kya!”

The original total magic only a great mage can perform shakes the ground, melting everything and turning it into nothingness. I think the intensity is ten. Sleipnir floated slightly in the sky to avoid the shaking, which helped, but our surroundings transformed into a hellish landscape.

The dungeon had begun to collapse as the storm rolled in, and the ground and ceiling began to shatter. Even though my party was not affected by the magic, the indirect aftermath was killing us.

It was as if we were in the sun. I sometimes see a scene on TV of flames erupting like dragons on the sun’s surface, but that was it.

The demons that had been trailing had already lost their shadows and shape, and the heat and flames of several hundred million degrees had burned the world to the ground.

Lava rained down on my body, hitting me with super-hot heat that burned me up by touching me. But strangely enough, a skin barrier is created, and everything got swept away. I feel cool and not hot. The secondary effects of magic do not harm the player either. It is a relief, but too frightening a sight.

Pressing my petite body against Sleipnir, I screamed. That’s scary! I glanced at Odin and saw that his eyes were shining brightly. The power of his magic must be wonderful.
