Chapter 2589: Mirror Ring

Chapter 2589: Mirror Ring

“Elder sister, how is the teacher?” Grand Commander asked as she looked at the glass band on her index finger.

The glass band looked like is made of multiple tiny pieces of glass, and one could see the absolutely clear image of them in a mirror at the same time; they could see the mirror pulling them inside.

“I am fine, my dear student, more than fine. I wish I had found such a place when I was alive,” said the Lord of glass, and as a tiny palm-size projection appeared above the ring, surprising me greatly. He was not supposed to do this; I have placed the restriction against it.

It would cost a soul energy, and any use of soul energy would degrade his soul faster.

I checked the restrictions and saw they are still working and immediately realized that it is not the soul energy he is using but the mirror energy. There is a huge amount inside the glass, and every second, a tiny bit gets absorbed in it.

“I am glad, teacher,” said Grand Commander with a relieved smile on her face before a look of question appeared on her face.

“Teacher, why did you say you have found such a place when you are alive?” she asked. She is not the only one who has this question; others have them too.

“You have to come inside to know it,” he said, and a second later, the GrandCommanders’ real body appeared in place of her projection, and I could feel her seeping her soul sense inside the ring; I also did the same.

The scenery changed around me, and I found myself in the world of the mirror; the area was small, but it was beautiful, and everything was made from the mirror.

I found myself in the garden of mirrors; from plants to the ground itself, everything is made of mirrors. Lord of mirrors, sitting in a huge chair of mirrors.

The Grand Commander, as she appeared with her sister, she froze in her spot as if she had sensed something while I looked at lady Vivian, whose soul projection is a little different. There are mirror lines across her soul, though much fewer than her body but still present.

The art she had practiced has been mostly focused on the body, but it is not the body art that I had thought it was.

In the last few minutes, she had circulated the energy through her soul, and since the constitution affects both body and soul, her soul had also gained the benefits of the constitution.

If the energies had lasted for an hour or more, there was a chance that she might advance her soul into the Grand Lord class.

“Teacher, this,” said Grand Commander as she opened her eyes; “This place has a very strong connection with the mirror world; it is the best place to comprehend the mysteries of the mirror,” replied the Lord of glass with an ecstatic smile on his face.

He is very happy about and why shouldn’t he be; a regular soul wouldn’t live after the body dies, but if he lives and sees the condition of this place, he won’t simply live.

“Teacher, can you take advantage of it? Given you are a soul without a body,” asked the Grand Commander, to which the smile on the old man’s face brightened up even further, which I really had not thought was possible.

“My art seal had merged with this place while it still holds a strong connection to me; so I could comprehend the art through it, which in turn will make my soul stronger, I had already tried it, and it is working.” He informed.

I had my reservation when the seal had merged with crystal, but it seemed like I was wrong to worry about it; it turned out to be the thing that would be most advantageous to the Lord of glass.

It is not without its disadvantages; his soul is still anchored to the body of Lady Vivian, which means the stronger it gets, the more pressure lady Vivian will have to bear. Her body could very well crumble if the pressure became too much.

Though the chances of it are too small.

Lady Vivian is improving fast, and she would be able to maintain pace with Lord of glass’s progress, not to mention she had this place now. It is not only the Lord who could take advantage of this clone connection to the mirror world; Lady Vivian could make use of it too.

I hope she can quickly advance her comprehension of the fortress of glass in the Grand Lord class; with it, she will be able to make a breakthrough in the Grand Lord class.

Unlike the regular powerhouses, those who comprehend the Grand Art do not require the comprehension of the first energy to reach to Grand Lord; as long as their arts comprehension reaches that stage, they will be able to make a breakthrough.

Though it is also a truth that those who can comprehend art also did not have much problem comprehending the first energy.

It is the reason why both sides will try hard to kill the hosts of Grand Arts, as they possess the greatest chance to make a breakthrough into the Grand Lord class.

“Congratulation, Grand Lord; with this, you wouldn’t have to worry about your survival for at least three years,” I said. With how things have changed, it is five years at least, but I still decided to go with the old conservative estimate.

“It is all thanks to you, Grandmaster. Without you, I wouldn’t have survived for more than two weeks,” he said before looking at Lady Vivian. “It is thanks to you Vivian had also taken a mountainous leap; it wouldn’t be long before a new lord of glass appeared in the world,” he added.

“It is the least I could,” I said and got out the ring; I am sure they had to talk, especially Grand Commander, whose were full of questions.

It took a few minutes, but Grand Commander came out, and there was a shock in her eyes when she looked at me. Though, she quickly controlled it.

“Thank you, Grandmaster; I couldn’t tell you how grateful I am for you saving my teacher,” said Grand Commander, and her eyes were the earnest I have ever seen.

“Grand Commander, since we are finished with this, I would like to go back; as you know, there is too much work and too little time,” I said, and her eyes became instantly serious hearing that.

“Yes, but before you go, the council would like to talk to you,” she said, and teleportation formation appeared below us, and soon, we appeared in central command.

There are only eight councilmen present, and aside from Grand Commander and Lord Hunt, everyone is in their projection, including Patriarch Bradford and Sky Lord Alvin.

“Grandmaster, please take a seat,” said Grand Commander and offered me a seat beside Lord Hunt.

It had surprised me so much that I wasn’t able to react for a moment; sitting at the council table is a big honor, and even most High Grandmasters did not get this honor.

“Thank you, Grand Commander,” I said, to which she shook her head. “You do not need to thank me, you have done more than enough to earn the right to sit there,” she said as I sat beside Lord Hunt.
