I dodged one attack barely by inches, some even grazed by me, before blasting craters on the ground.
I had been running away for more than an hour from this bastard, which was hell-bent on killing me.
I had only taken a single plant from its collection, but it had made the bastard so angry is chasing me like mad.
Even Grimms had not pressured me this much as this monster was doing; one of the most powerful monsters in this ruin, king of one of seven regions, a true Primary-II class monster.
It is an amethyst scale Dino-bird, but with a huge horn on its head, from which it is shooting powerful amethysts blasts at me.
I shouldn’t have gone for that plant, but I had no choice, it had it, and I needed it. If I had searched in ruin, I would have taken months to find it, and even if I did, I wouldn’t have found it in the grade I needed.
It needed to be at Primary II, and it was, and the moment I put it in the egg, all its runes lit up.
For more than a year, I have been practicing the method, focusing on it with my all, as it is the optimum method that will give me all power I need to defeat the big Grimm Monsters.
All the preparations had been finished; I had practiced all the minor seven methods and finally created the egg, which took my strength to barely edge away from the Primary-II class.
With every preparation made, I just need to find a quiet, safe spot and practice the method, and that is what I had planned to do when the bastard returned and began to chase me like mad.
“You bastard, just stop; I only took one plant; the hoard of it had still remained in your nest,” I shouted.
If I knew the bastard would chase me like mad, I should have taken all the hoard of treasure. It was really huge, and I wanted to take it, but control myself, with the thought of returning and beating this monster, then taking its treasures fairly.
Now, I don’t know whether it will happen or not; it is close to me, and the moment it caught or one of its blasts hit me, it would be game over.
I will have to deal with the monster, but it is too powerful, but strength is not the only way. There is guile, and it is where I am taking it; if I am successful, then I will be able to get rid of the monster.
I had already covered most of the distance that would have taken me days, it only took an hour, and I would need to keep running for ten more minutes before reaching it.

Another blast of energy came at me, and I flapped my wings, flashing around at a very fast speed to avoid them, but still faintly sang through it, and its energy entered inside me and began to tear me apart.
It is very hard to do it; Michael had said I have a very strong body. It was strong as eight Grimms, who were half level above me, and that was before I broke the two seals containing the mutation, which had strengthened me rapidly.
Michael did a very good job managing the mutation, but side effects had remained, but seven minor levels of the method had wiped it all out.
When the method reaches level 1 and the egg hatches, all the side effects of mutation will vanish. Not even a faintest will remain, even those that remain internally since I ate the miracle fruit of bloodline when I was a child.
Michael had reduced it but was never able to remove it, making me feel inhuman.
Though the method will fix it, it will not turn me human again; I will become more inhuman but will look like a complete human, which is more than enough for me.
Time passed, and I finally saw the huge broke vestige; seeing that, a smile finally appeared on his strained face, and I flew toward that spot.
In seconds, I will know whether I will succeed or not; I hope to, as it is the only way I will be alive.
Seconds passed, and the monster kept attacking me; I dodged the most, but some grazed me despite my efforts; one had taken a large chunk of my face, including my one eye, but I did not have time to care about it.
I swooped in, and the monster followed; seeing that, I couldn’t help but take a sigh of relief.

I reached the broken circle and flew toward its end; it did not take it to reach the end, and the moment I did, I tapped on the stone block.

As I had expected, the broken circle lit up and immediately formed a done, trapping the monster within; even I was barely able to stop myself from getting caught inside.
A few months ago, I had gotten trapped inside here.
It would not keep the monster inside for long, just nine days, and after that, it would turn off automatically, which is more than enough for me.

It is very powerful, and the best quality about it is stealthy, even if I need to be very close and focus all my soul senses to discover it.
I entered inside and simply lay on the bed to sleep after munching on powerful healing resources.

Michael had said the mutation had made my healing abilities very strong and that I would be able to recover from it.
It is time to test whether it is true or not.
I woke up more than a day later, and the first thing I checked was my eye; there was no mangled flesh like before, but instead, new eyes, just as before, without any change, as I had never lost them.
I checked for a few seconds and ate before finally sitting with my eyes closed in the training hall.
A second later, an egg appeared in front of me, a white egg with runes on it. To be honest, it looked like a chicken egg.
I have a dragon bloodline, but I have a chicken leg; if my love got to know about it, she would laugh till tears streamed down my face.
