3052 Power II

“Die, you bastard!”

I did not even stabilize myself, even if it had appeared in front of me like a phantom and attacked.

This time, I had a chance to harness the immense power coursing through my body, and I did, using every bit I had to defend against the attack.

CLANNNNG!

Its huge saber clashed, and to my shock, I saw felt myself shuddering before taking a step back while vomiting against another bout of blood, which once again vaporized by new sound shiny fiery energy covering me.

Despite using all my power, I had been pushed back, and it is not like, it had used its full power.

No, it did not.

It is still not using its power, and that did not make me feel good, giving me a feeling of defeat, but I crushed those thoughts and prepared myself for it.

I have come across many such conditions where the enemy was ready to kill, but I have not only survived those situations but also killed the energy, and this time too, I will do the same.

Hun!

“Now, you understand the difference between us?” it asked with a grin and came at me again but suddenly stopped mid-way before a frown appeared on its face.

The frown stayed there for a moment before it eased while it moved its one claw against its chest, and when it reached it, it had gripped something invisible and pulled.

For a moment, nothing could be seen before a group of green strings finer than the hair became visible, and great surprise couldn’t help, but appear on its face, while I watched with wide eyes.

“Strings!” it said before it had turned to me. “Rhaek had said that you used the strings, and they are the sole reason you were able to kill so many of them,”

“I didn’t think they would be able to affect me, and they couldn’t, but reaching me and wrapping themselves around me is still a feat that I don’t think anyone of this could achieve,” it added with an amazement apparent in its voice while staring at the strings.

It continued to stare at them for a couple of seconds before pulling hard, but a moment later, a surprise on its face when it saw the strings did not break, instead just stretched.

Seeing that, the fire covering its body began to move into the strings, and a couple of seconds later, the surprise on its face became even bigger.

“Fascinating,” It said when the strings didn’t burn by the shining golden fire.

A smile appeared on its face, and the shining fire started to become thicker and thicker and blazed more brightly. It was only after twenty seconds a change appeared on the strings.

They reddened, and fourteen more seconds later, they finally burned, but Grimm was not satisfied as the fire in its hand spread around its body and, in a couple of seconds, burned away all the strings to the ashes.

“The strings are really amazing; even a sufficiently powerful Primary-II bound by it would be powerless against those strings,” it said as it turned to me.

“But you burned them,” I said through gritted teeth. “Yes, I did.” It replied, grinningly. “You should understand humans, in front of me, Aiens of Purple Palace; you are just an ant,”

“You haven’t killed me yet, Grimm,” I said while wiping away the blood off my lips. “Aren’t I?” it asked back, and I found it in front of me and its saber, crossing more than halfway distance to me.

CLANNNNG!

I was barely able to move my sword in position to defend, and it nearly threw me off my place before I started to take the steps back rapidly while vomiting a mouthful of blood.

“Give up, human, there is no other way than die, so you just give up and let me give you a peaceful death,” it said and attacked me with an even more powerful attack, but I already had my sword moving, and I let my guide when its saber came toward me.please visit panda(-)N0ve1.co)m

CLANNNNG!

Its saber came at me, and many formations lit up inside me; they were ones my clones were able to create after studying its power.

They are not much, but they are keeping me in a place.

“You are really something; someone of your power should have exploded into pieces or burned to ashes by my fire, but you are still standing,” it said, looking at me intently.

“I will be standing even when you turn to dust,” I said back.

“Good, you have some spine, and I would very love to break it,” it said and attacked again, this time with even greater power.

CLANNNNG!

I defended, with everything I had, every trick I had, but its raw power had broken through all, and I shot back with blood dripping from my mouth.

“Didn’t I say,” it said and flashed in front of me, and the only thing was to move my sword with all the strength I had to defend against it,

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG

It attacked again and again without wasting even a second; its speed was incredible, and the power was horrifying enough to destroy the world. If not for the ring surrounding us, I would have truly been worried about the future of my world.

I defended against the attacks, which were getting stronger, as it was the only thing I could do against this colossal enemy.

It would become a little easy if I burned my blood, but it is not the choice I have. I need to know where its limit lies, and till then, I will not burn my blood or any method of importance.

It is an extremely risky gamble considering it only needs a single attack to finish me off, but what choice do I have?

Revealing my cards prematurely will waste them, which I couldn’t do as they were the only things that could help me defeat them.

“You are one of the most difficult enemies I have killed, a literal cockroach; even those stronger than you would have died by now, but you are still surviving,” it said and attacked me again.

The grinning smile on its face had disappeared, and now, only irritation had remained, which made its attacks stronger and faster.

It had bad for me, but I am also feeling hopeful; the more power it uses, the clear I will know its limit, and time isn’t long.

As I have constantly been collecting data and which gives giving a clearer picture of its limits with every move it uses, but its powerful moves are also taking me to the limit of my instincts.

They, too, have a limit, and I won’t be able to use them with data; I have to accurately predict its attacks, and when I don’t, it will be my end, as it will only need a single attack to finish me off.

CLANNNNG!

A few more seconds passed, and another attack landed on my sword, and once again, I sent back faster, but this time, there was a smile on my face, along with horror.

I was able to find a limit to its power, and it horrified me, but it also gave me relief, as now I could make my last move.

As for whether I succeeded or not, I don’t know, but I sure as hell gave my all for it.
