Chapter 1854 - Thunder Snakes

SHAR SHAR SHAR

They screamed at me thunderously as they surrounded me before four of them released a flood of thunder at me, and while three came directly through the thunder, four snakes released at me.

I did not move from my spot even after a flood of thunder came at me. This will be a test for my armor's defense while I will handle the snakes themselves.

Boom Boom Boom

A Flood of thunder hit me from all the sides; its man-thick bolts surrounded me and wanting to tear through my armor. My armor did not stop them; it let the thunder in before diving it into thousands of streams and crushing it before filtering it into the raw energy.

In the past three weeks, I was able to fill over one millions hexagonal cells of Honeycomb, not to forget the divine fire baptism I had gone through. It had made me a whole lot stronger. My vines have made a huge improvement that now, they could defend against such attacks head-on.

I let my armor do its job of defending while I waiting for the snakes; I harnessed all the power I could, not daring to leave behind even the slightest; I will need everything I could do to deal with the snakes.

SHAR SHAR SHAR

The three thunder snakes have finally arrived, and I swung my sword. My sword moved at lightning-fast speed, powered with the enchantment of sharpness and weight; it cut and crushed through the thunder surrounding me before striking the snake that is closest to me.

CLANNNG!

My sword clashed against the huge head of the thunder snake; it felt like my sword is not crashed against the energy, which it could easily crush and sliced through it but a very strong metal that my sword can't pierce through.

This is one of the most frustrating things about the animated projection methods. They have the defense even stronger than their creator. If this full-power attack of mine had landed on the Crockman, it would have pierced through it, but my sword was bȧrėly able to make a scratch against these snakes.

If I wanted to leave the snakes and attacked the crockman, which had become quite weak after launching the attack, but these snakes are fast. Even if I burned my blood, I would not be able to reach close to it before these damn snakes caught up to me.

Well, its not like I need to attack it directly to finished it off. I had been at it ever since it took a step inside the dome. 

I just need to fight these snakes for a while without getting eaten by them; there is quite a possibility that might happen.

CLANNNG CLANNNG

Two loud clanging sounds rang out as these icy chain swords clashed against the snakes. I have also not come out of this clash unscathed either; summoning those two chains, vines had put a lot of pressure on me and made blood came out of my eyes and nose.

This hammering pressure is no simple thing, but I bore it. The enemy is very strong that I have used my all to defeat it. The slightest laxness and hesitation would result in my end.

SHAR SHAR SHAR…

The three thunder snakes roared loudly and came at me with even more force. I did not back down either and went to meet them with my three swords while keeping an eye on the other four snakes, which are still pouring more and more thunder at me that now, it looks like I am surrounded in a pool of thunder.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

Attack after attack came at me; these snakes are persistent, not taking even the slightest break. I am fine with that and even happy; while animated projections methods are powerful, they have weaknesses, or this one had the weakness. 

Crockman had bȧrėly comprehended the basics, so it could not provide its animations unrestricted power. If what I had observed till now is right then, after summoning them, it had not provided them with any energy; as long as I whittle away all their energy, they are bound to disappear.

The crockman seemed to understand as well, which is why the expression on its face getting worse and worse every minute.

SHAR SHAR SHAR…

A minute had passed, and a change had occurred in the battle; the four snakes who were spewing thunder at me stopped and came at me. There was no surprise in me seeing that; I had kind of expected it would happen, and it will be no use to Grimm Monsters.

All seven monsters are huge that only four could attack me at the time. I had to strain myself even more to produce one more icy chains sword; doing that, even my ears started to bleed, and some veins of my head had popped up.

I bore it all, it is getting desperate, and I just have to hang on for little time, and I would be finished with my preparations, and that time, these snakes on would not be any danger to me.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

Time passed by, and soon four minutes passed by, and finally, a smile appeared on my face. I had finished with my preparations; this bastard had pressured me a lot. 

I would have finished with my preparation much sooner if not for fear of it damaging the plants below in its retribution; that would have been bad since there are still quite many rare and precious Tyrant grade plants that I hadn't collected yet.
