Chapter 15 Yuena's Yearning

The capital of Trasia is Phoenix city which is under the Royal family, it's at the center of Trasia, protected by other major cities.
In the North, we have Mistborn city, which is under the Meng clan. It has a natural defense behind it as the land of ice starts where its border ends.
In the east, we have Ancient Haven city where goddess Cang Xue and her lover spend their childhood. It is also said to be the living place of Saintess.
In the south, we have Blood Moon city, it's under the Shangguan clan. The citadel is built there to protect Trasia from terrifying beasts that live in the wilderness that starts from there.
Finally, in the west, we have Storm Keeper city which is at the border of both countries separated by a desert. It's taken care of by Wang Clan and Xiao clan together." Xue Rou explained in a nonchalant voice about the five major cities of the Trasia
Meng long, who was sitting opposite her had his eyes glued in the distance while thinking, "It seems Phoenix City and Haven city still exist while others have changed by the flow of time."
Xue Rou, who didn't have any idea what he was thinking, continued, "Tianhai academy is in Ancient Haven city. It was built after Jin Long sealed the unholy dragon near the mountains of Otrana Country, which later became Xielong Temple."

A complicated emotion flickered in Meng Long's eyes as he heard her words and about his next destination.

The normal fare for traveling this far was twenty bronze coins. This caused the lovely couple to become the point of the coachman's admiration in his thoughts.
They were walking alongside each other as they left the main road.
"Why are we going towards a forest instead of the main city?" Meng Long frowned and asked with a questioning tone.
"Tianhai academy has two entrances for its members. For the outer court, you can use the academy gate by following the eastern road. It is known to normal students and others.
Us inner court members have access to the secret entrance. No one can use that one without the headmaster's permission. Rumor says that saintess, the guardian of the academy, lives here." She responded in a composed manner.
They walked for almost five minutes and entered a misty forest.
A white fog was billowing and blocking their sight. It was hard to see what was five meters away.
"Stay with me or we will get separated by the fog. It might take you a month or a year to find your way out once you're lost in this misty forest." She held his hand and warned him in a worried tone.
The long trees and green shrubs were along the path as they marched towards the secret entrance of the academy.
After ten minutes of travel, a long river appeared in front of them.
There were lotus pads in the middle of the water, which were illuminating with four different colors, Green, Blue, White, and Golden. It was visible to the eyes despite being enveloped in billowing mists.
"This is the special doorway to the academy. You wouldn't able to find it and will get lost in the fog if you aren't with one of the inner court's loyal members.
We need to cross this river to reach the inner court of Tianhai academy. Those lotus pads would take you to the other side of the river.

I can only use the Blue Lotus pad, my master and headmaster can use the White one While the Golden pad always stays in middle.

She proceeded to walk in front of the river as a blue lotus pad slid toward her and stopped right before her.
Xue Rou stepped on the lotus pad and started gliding toward the other side of the river.
However, the sight in front of her widened her Crimson eyes as if she saw a ghost.
The Golden lotus pad was coursing towards her direction and moved past her, leaving Xue Rou behind.
She turned around to gaze at it in a stupefied manner as it was a phenomenon that never happened before in the history of Tianhai academy.
It stopped right in front of a black-haired boy as if it was welcoming him to his home.
Meng Long frowned with little surprise as this happened but he didn't wait long and climbed on it, which proceed to take him to the other side of the river.
"Welcome Back, Yue Yan. This Yuena yearned for her beloved for a thousand years. I waited just to have a glimpse of you again..."
A voice was heard in his mind, which brought a nostalgic memory to him. His heart fluttered hearing the familiar voice.
