Chapter 26 Yue Hao

A blonde-haired man was sitting on a throne that had its head decorated by an azure phoenix with spread wings.

His face was grave as he moved his eyes down at the black-haired young man who was standing in front of him.

His matured facial design was similar to Meng Long's.

"Father?" He mumbled inwardly, seeing someone from his past life standing in this ongoing shadow dream trial.

Meng Long had no close bonding with his current life clan except Xue Rou but he was close to his father in his first life.

The boy recognized both people that were having a serious conversation.

The person, sitting on the throne, was the Emperor of Trasia Country, Cang Wuhan.

The young man standing in front of him was the genius of the country who had become the youngest person to ever break through to the Monarch realm before the age of thirty, which was beyond Ninety Spirit Rank.

"I am forever in your debt, Yue Hao. I am very thankful for you saving my life on the battlefield against our enemy and also honored to have you by my side." Emperor Wuhan said, his voice heavy with emotion.

"Don't mention it, Your Majesty. I can do at least this much for my country." The black-haired man said in a composed manner.

Cang Wuhan stared at the brave ranker, his eyes filled with gratitude.

"You are a rare and valuable asset to our Empire. Can you do me one more favor, Yue Hao?" Emperor asked in a polite tone.

"What is it, your highness?" Yue Hao responded with a relaxed voice.

"Can you please take my little daughter as your disciple?" Cang Wuhan spoke in a requesting manner.

He knew this man was the exceptional talent on the continent. Yue Hao had advanced past ninety spirit energy rank before the age of thirty, breaking the previous geniuses' records.

Cang Wuhan would've won the jackpot if he made this man train his precious daughter.

"I'm sorry your highness, I have to decline your request. I have the responsibility of my son who I need to take care of." Yue Hao turned him down without being perturbed.

He was a very high-level ranker, even Emperor couldn't offend him. So the young man didn't feel any fear of refusing him.

"Ahh..." The blonde-haired man sighed and was contemplating how to approach this intimidating man.

A quiet stillness enveloped them.

Emperor remembered something and asked, "What's your son's name?"

"Yue Yan" The brave man answered, his eyes were filled with affection when he mentioned his child's name.

"The boy who was born with blocked meridian?" Cang Wuhan had heard this name as Yue Clan was famous.

"Yes, your highness." Yue Hao said.

"Do you know about dragon orchid root?" Emperor asked with intrigued eyes.

"It's a silver Grade treasure herb that reconstructs the meridian." Yue Hao said as he already knew about this treasure and was searching for his young child.

"How about this, I would give you this dragon orchid root if you take my daughter as your disciple?" Emperor Cang Wuhan asked with an optimistic smile as if he knew this man wouldn't refuse such an offer.

This was a well-thought strategy told by his personal minister but at first, the emperor wasn't agreed to this plan as the herb was a top-tier treasure.

However, getting this brave young man as his Daughter's master was important for their country's future.

"Okay, your Majesty. I'll take her as my disciple. But when would you give me the dragon orchid root?" Yue Yan asked after agreeing.

"After you teach her for at least three years." Emperor Wuhan responded.

As expected, this strategy worked because Yue Yan's father's ultimate mission was to fix his son's meridian problem. Yue Hao wanted a good life for his child even if they had to separate for some period.

From this day on, Yue Hao took Cang Xue, the future empress of the Trasia country, as his only disciple.

A ten-year-old girl complained to a black-haired man who was telling her to fix her posture after making her train for so long.

"You're very unreasonable, Master. I've been practicing since morning." Cang Xue said with puffed red cheeks.

"It's for your better future, Xue'er. Now, don't slack off. Fix the position of your sword and slash at this practice dummy one thousand times then you can have rest." Yue Hao's voice sounded beside her.

"Ahh...One thousand times... I hate you, Master." The little girl's crying voice resounded in the training room.

One year passed...

The master discipline bonding became stronger as she started seeing the benefit of training under him.

"Master, see I have reached the Warrior rank and Awakened a spirit" Cang Xue said in an excited tone as she came to visit her master.

"Good job, Xue'er. Now let's get back to training. Do all those ten sets until I ask you to stop." Yue Hao instructed her to get back to training.

"You're still very annoying, Master." The little girl said with a pout.

"Hahaha..." Her master was used to her complaints but he knew it was for her bright future.

"Master, people just Want to befriend me for my status yet you treat me like I'm your subordinate." Cang Xue said in an exasperated tone but she was happy that this man wasn't like others.

A few months passed...

A little girl was crying in front of a black-haired man.

"Master, why mother hates me and only like the older sister," little Cang Xue said with a moist face.

He didn't have any answer for her and just ruffled the little girl's hair to comfort her.

One day, Cang Xue heard her master was going away for a little while so she came to visit him before he leave.

"Master, where are you going?" The little princess asked with a sad tone.
