Chapter 67 The Ice Princess Is Your Big Sister?

Yue Yan also returned the kisses on their red lips one by one as he was delighted by their affection-filled action to support him with his Bing'er.

"We will go now, the Shangguan Sisters are done filling the bucket with the green leaves," Yuena informed everyone as she could feel their aura that was returning to the village.

"Where are you guys staying?" Yue Yan asked, in case he needed to contact them.

"We are staying at the village head's house" Cang Xue responded with a vibrant voice.

"We are going to clean ourselves after we go back. I would have dragged you with us and we girls would've helped you wash every inch of your body but those two sisters might get suspicious if they don't find you here. So take care, we are leaving now." Yuena spoke with a coquettish voice.

Xue Rou's face became beet-red hearing what the saintess was saying as she scurried out of the room along with Cang Xue.

His three beautiful lovers walked out of the small room as they returned to the village head's house.

Yue Yan was thankful for their help and felt bad that they had cleaned it for him even though it should've been done by him alone since he was chasing other girls.

The boy sat down in the remaining space that wasn't covered by the mattress as he waited for the Shangguan sisters to return.

After ten minutes passed, he heard the approaching footsteps and two figures entered the small room.

Shangguan Ling'er was carrying the bucket that was filled to the brim with green verdant leaves.

When the girls came into the room, their eyes flickered with amazement as they saw a completely washed room, with two beautiful blue mattresses on the floor. The walls and window looked old but there was barely any speck of dust left as Yue Yan and his women had cleaned the room perfectly.

"Where did you get these blue mattresses from?" The crimson-haired beauty asked, her eyes flickering with astonishment as she understood about the washed room because he was cleaning but the mattresses were a mystery to both sisters.

"To keep eye on the second-year students' special task, the academy has sent senior years students from the inner courts for scrutinizing them. One of those students is Big sister Xue Rou. She gave me these mattresses and blankets." Yue Yan offered her the same line that he heard from his girls.

"The Ice Princess is your Big Sister??" Ling'er mouth became agape as she heard about it.

Yue Yan nodded, "Yeah but Mother had adopted her when we were young. She wanted her to become my concubine as the Meng Clan was not treating Big sister Xue Rou properly. Later, when mother passed away she took care of me even though she was busy at the academy."

The boy decided to reveal the secret to The Shangguan sisters so they wouldn't blame him later when they discovered it from outsiders such as Meng's Sibling. It was better to spill the tea now than later. It was not like he was chasing any of these sisters openly but more like Ling'er demanded him to act as her fake boyfriend so it was in his favor to disclose this information.

"Ah...??? Are you serious? I heard the whole academy worship her as their goddess. She is even famous on the continent as being one of the most beautiful girls and known as the number one genius in both countries." Shangguan Ling'er gasped in amazement as she couldn't believe Xue Rou was the girl he was talking about.

Yue Yan shrugged as he stood up to leave, "The other students might be reaching the village soon so we will need to ask senior Dong Ju to fix Aldrop and the lock. So take care of the room."

"You didn't tell us if you were joking or you were serious and where are you going?" Ling'er's voice sounded from behind as the boy had already left the room.

"Why would I lie? and I'm going to take a bath, you can join me if you want." Yue Yan responded as he teased the crimson-haired beauty.

Ling'er didn't ask him further as she was annoyed hearing his reply, she turned around to look at Bing'er and asked, "Do you believe what he said?"

"It has nothing to do with us even if Senior sister Xue Rou is related to him," The white-haired beauty said but there was a bitterness hidden in her voice. She wasn't able to understand why her heart was aching, hearing the ice princess was chosen as Yue Yan's concubine.

"Even if what he is saying is true, Senior Sister Xue Rou wouldn't accept him as her husband and become his concubine. It was something that happened in his childhood so she doesn't have to carry her adopted mother's word.

Right now Senior sister Xue Rou has enough power to go against the whole Meng Clan, knowing she is the personal disciple of the supreme elder." Ling'er was still not agreeing with what the boy said, and found excuses to support her belief.

"Forget about that Ling'er, first decide how are we going to stay here in this room. This place was solely cleaned by him and you can't forever become the barrier to make us both sleep on opposite sides." Bing'er asked the question that they hadn't thought of yet as there was only one room and they were of the opposite gender.

"There is a way, wait," Ling'er said as she went out of the room.

Bing'er's eyes were perplexed as she didn't understand what her sister was talking about.

After a few minutes passed, her sister came with a long flexible stick. The girl measured the wooden stick with both sides of the wall as it was bigger than the total length of their room. Then she unsheathed her sword from her waist and used it to cut one end of the wooden stick.

She moved to place the wooden stick between both walls which was still a little longer than the total length between one another as she bend it slightly to make it firmly stand between both walls in the air like I-----I. After she was done, she took one of the blankets and place it above the stick, making a cloth border and parting the bed into two sides.

"See, It's done... On one side he shall sleep, and on this side, we will sleep." Ling'er said after patting her hands as if she had done great work.

"It won't work," Bing'er said, looking at her partition of bedding.

"Let me lower the stick more so the blanket wouldn't be invaded by him" Ling'er held the stick and pulled it down as the blanket made a U shape on their bedding.

She continued, "Even if he tries to do anything funny I can subdue him with my strength, he is only at thirty-one spirit rank."

The girl comforted herself and her sister as she was unaware of Yue Yan's real strength. However, she didn't know that the boy wouldn't have thought of doing anything to them without their consent even if they were his real girlfriends.

Bing'er went to lie down on the right side of the wall as she didn't want to sleep in the middle at the blanket border. Ling'er also took the seat beside her sister and lay down as slid her fingers across the body of the blanket that was used to divide their bedding and make a barrier.

"Shouldn't we go and figure out how we would finish the task?" Bing'er asked as she was curious about their next plan.

"Let's wait for that fellow, we need to act as a team." The crimson-haired beauty answered as she closed her eyes to sleep. She hadn't slept the whole night and was tired as she was being used as the barrier between them.

Yue Yan made his way through the village and entered the forest. The sound of the river grew louder with each step. The sun was shining down through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor. He could hear the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves, feeling the serenity of nature.

As he went near the river, he could see the boulder that had crashed into it and was stopping the stream of water right behind the massive stone, creating a small pool. The water was crystal clear, and the fish swimming in the depths. He approached the pool, stripping down his clothes and keeping them on the branch of a nearby tree, and then he stepped into the river.

The water was cool and refreshing, as he closed his eyes and immersed himself in it. Yue Yan felt the dirt and grime on his body melting away with the current of water as he sighed in contentment. He washed himself carefully, scrubbing his skin and hair until he was completely washed.

When he was finished, he climbed out of the water and dried himself off using the towel in the system inventory given by Cang Xue. He put his clothes back on and made his way back to the village, feeling refreshed and renewed.

As he reached the room, he saw the Shangguan Ling'er was asleep and Bing'er was also lying down.

When The white-haired beauty saw him entering the room she gave him a gaze, putting her index finger near her cherry-red lips, and said in a hushed voice, "Shhh..."

She only hoped that the boy wouldn't cause noise to wake her up.
