Qiao Yue nodded, looked at Qiao Ze and said, “I think it’s worth a look.”
Qiao Ze looked at Qiao Yue, his previously dejected eyes lit up.
“Thank you,” Qiao Ze replied softly, completely unlike his arrogant and flirtatious celebrity persona.
“How are second uncle and the others doing?” Qiao Yue asked.
“Still not seeing the truth.” Qiao Ze shook his head.
Although Qiao Yi was a direct and legitimate descendant of the Qiao family, he actually didn’t have any of the Qiao’s character traits.
“I don’t think he’ll ever come back to apologize. He’s only thinking about how to ride on Mahad’s coattails to send himself abroad.” Qiao Ze shook his head.
Qiao Yue got a pretty good idea about their situation.

Qiao Li didn’t look at Qiao Jing. Instead, he kept staring hatefully at Qiao Yue.
“There’s nothing wrong with this contract.” Qiao Jing handled the matter quickly. He had handled such contracts before.
It was just a simple, short-term film contract. There were no penalty fees or other clauses that were out of his expectation. It was a very ordinary contract.
“I’ll sign it if there’s no problem.” Qiao Yue signed her name on the contract.
Qiao Xin’s eyes were red with jealousy.
All Qiao Yue did was to dressed up as a girl and performed a dance, yet so many people liked him. She was clearly good at singing and knew how to play musical instruments, why hadn’t she become famous?
But at the thought of what AT had promised her, Qiao Xin calmed down.

Cheng Yang watched Qiao Yue sign the contract, and then left with Qiao Ze.
Qiao Jing called Qiao Yue to the study.
Everything looked normal in the study except for a small suitcase on the floor.
“Second brother, what are you doing with the suitcase? You can’t be thinking of eloping with me, right?” Qiao Yue said with a smile.
Qiao Jing knew that Qiao Yue was joking, but something still stirred in his heart.

Qiao Yue nodded in understanding. “Have a safe trip, second brother. There are more important things to do when you are back.”
