279 Andy’s Escape
The group proceeded upstairs from the tenth floor. There were more mercenaries on the stairs, but they were quickly eliminated.
When they reached the top floor, they met up with the other team from The Custodians as planned.
Strangely, the door of Andy’s suite was wide open, and cold air came from inside the room.
“Back up and move slowly.” Colonel Su frowned. He suspected that Andy had already left.
“We have just dealt with the guards on the top floor and haven’t yet gone into Andy’s suite,” the commander of the second team said.
Everyone walked towards Andy’s suite, with Qiao Yue and Qiao Jing in the rear.
When they opened the door, they saw a broken wine cabinet and shattered glass everywhere. The whole room smelled of blood.
Qiao Yue looked at the messy room and her heart sank.
Andy had probably left but where is Jin Lu?
The group slowly walked towards the bedroom. Cold wind came in through the broken windows, making everyone shiver.
Police sirens could be heard in the distance.
The police were on their way.
There was a figure standing in the dark bedroom and Jin Lu was lying on the bed.
“Andy?” Qiao Yue called out.
The man slowly turned around. Helped by light outside the bedroom, Qiao Yue saw his face.
“Andy, stop struggling and surrender now.”
Andy was standing very close to the windows. If he took another step back, he would fall from the twelfth floor of the building.
“Capture me alive?” Andy laughed as he pointed his gun at the people in the room.
Team members from The Custodians also pointed their guns at Andy.
Qiao Jing stood in front of Qiao Yue shielding her.
Feeling his familiar aura, Qiao Yue felt a little more at ease.
“You’re from The Custodians, right? Do you know that the two young masters you see here are not of simple background? Since you want to eliminate all evil, why don’t you take care of these two?” Andy sneered.
The team members looked at each other.
“We have a mission.” Colonel Su said.
Qiao Yue was stunned. She didn’t know what Qiao Jing was doing.
He was able to find out her relationship with KA, and the way he tied up Oswald was also very skillful. It was obvious that he was no ordinary person.
“Do you really think you can capture me today?” Andy sneered. “I’ve installed a time bomb in this room. If you don’t let me go, I’ll blow up the entire building. The whole building will be gone with just one bang.”
The team’s bomb disposal expert quickly put down his equipment and began to examine the room. However, the results of his examination sent a chill down his spine.
“Everyone, the time bomb is…”
“Where is it?” Colonel Su was a little impatient. He had been on so many missions and had seen all kinds of perverts. How could a little time bomb faze him?
“The time bomb is on that girl.” Andy smiled with his head tilted.
“The Godfather will not let you off if you do this! Jin Lu is a member of KA, and a member of the organization.” Qiao Yue said. “If you confess now, I can help you leave the organization.”
“Qiao Yue, do you think you can influence the Godfather’s decision?” Andy shook his head and revealed a scary smile. “The Godfather has been in power for too long. Do you think that everything he does is righteous? Do you think you’re a friend of justice just because you work for him? Qiao Yue, wake up!”
Of course, Qiao Yue knew something about the Godfather, but at least he wasn’t involved in the criminal activities Andy was involved in.
“Do you think I don’t know how the Godfather feels about you?” Andy laughed. “That’s why I’m going to get rid of you, and let him suffer for real.”
When Qiao Jing heard this, he pulled Qiao Yue tightly behind him.
Andy’s gun was pointed at Qiao Jing.
“I have five bullets in this gun. Even if you shield her, I could still kill Qiao Yue.” Andy said with a smile.
Suddenly, the sound of a helicopter’s rotor came from outside the window.
“He’s going to escape!” Colonel Su shouted.
Everyone chased after Andy, but he did not shoot. Instead, he fell backward.
By the time everyone rushed to the bedside, Andy had already grabbed the ladder from the helicopter in the air.
“Fire!” Colonel Su ordered.
As dozens of guns were aimed at the helicopter, the sound of a bomb countdown rang out in the room.
Everyone looked stiffly in the direction of the sound.
The sound originated from Jin Lu.
