Chapter 321 - 321 Mass Slaughter

321 Mass Slaughter

Sun Bin panicked and almost fell off his chair.

“What do you mean by that? You cheated and now you want me to retake the exam with you?” Sun Bin replied fiercely. “I haven’t been accused of cheating. Why should I take the exam with you?”

Qiao Yue replied unhurriedly, “How about I accuse you of cheating now?”

Sun Bin’s face was twisted. “Then tell me how I’ve cheated.”

Qiao Yue laughed. “I don’t have any proof. I just wanted to find someone to take the exam with me.”

Everyone was confused by Qiao Yue’s provocative attitude but Qiao Yue was a frivolous person to most of them, and this attitude was in line with his image.

“Since that’s the case, how about I also take the exam with my fifth brother? Sun Bin, do you have any objections?” Qiao Yu stood up as he said gently.

When Sun Bin turned to look at Qiao Yu, he was so frightened by Qiao Yu’s gaze that he shuddered.

Qiao Yu’s eyes had never been so cold. He looked as if he could see through all lies.

“Why should I retake the exam?” Sun Bin’s attitude weakened, but he was still stubborn.

“Teacher Chang, please be our judge.” Qiao Yue yawned, still looking lazy and indifferent as if he wasn’t the person who was accused of cheating, but a bystander.

“Sure. We’ll do as Qiao Yue suggested. There’s an empty classroom next door. Qiao Yue, Qiao Yu and Sun Bin, you three come with me.”

“Teacher, I…” Sun Bin seemed unabated. “That’s enough, Sun Bin. Since you’ve improved so much this time, more practice will always do you good.” Chang Yuan said.

The three of them sat in the empty classroom.

There was an aisle between each person.

Sun Bin’s palms were sweaty. Although he had studied hard earlier on, but because he wanted to cheat, he had spent most of his remaining time finding a partner. He was not familiar with the later topics.

Qiao Yue and Qiao Yu didn’t look nervous, especially Qiao Yue, who sat slumped over her desk, gracefully spinning a pen.

After all, she was familiar with all the topics. It wouldn’t be a problem for her to retake the test.

The bell rang, and the three of them started answering the paper.

Chang Yuan’s voice was heard over the PA system. “I’ll be invigilating from the homeroom with the surveillance cameras turned on and your classmates watching.”

Meanwhile, everyone in the homeroom held their beaths and stared at the big screen.

Sun Bin slowly worked through the calculations while Qiao Yu answered the questions quickly.

Qiao Yu was a top student in their class, so it was only natural that he was fast.

When everyone saw Qiao Yue, they were so surprised that their jaws almost fell off.

What was going on? Was Qiao Yue sleeping at her desk?

The exam would go on for an hour and a half. Has Qiao Yue completely given up?

But that didn’t make sense. Didn’t Qiao Yue agree to the retest?

Chang Yuan also frowned, not understanding what Qiao Yue was doing.

The surveillance cameras were very good. Everyone could see what the three were writing.

Sun Bin answered very slowly, which was not what Chang Yuan expected. Sun Bin’s results had improved a lot this time, but the way he was answering the questions was inconsistent with his improved results.

Time passed quickly. Qiao Yue woke up when there was half an hour left on the clock.

She slowly picked up her pen and started answering the paper.

Everyone held their breath as they looked at her new stance on screen.

Qiao Yue answered the questions so quickly that his answers came the moment he finished reading the questions. He did some calculations for the later questions, but most of the questions were answered very quickly. He didn’t look like someone who would cheat.

Chang Yuan’s anxious heart finally settled down.

He hadn’t misjudged Qiao Yue. Qiao Yue indeed had potential. He couldn’t have cheated in the exams. If he hadn’t, how could he explain the pen?

An hour and a half went by quickly.

The three of them stopped the moment the bell rang.

Qiao Yue had finished the paper long ago and was doodling on a piece of draft paper.

Sun Bin was in cold sweat.

These backup questions were a little more difficult. Compared to questions which focused on the fundamentals in paper A, questions in paper B was a lot more robust in testing one’s thinking ability.

These backup questions tested one’s potential, not hard work.

Chang Yuan collected their test papers and walked back to the homeroom.

He more or less knew the results. The questions were set by him and he had already looked through their answers as they worked on the paper.
