She was shaking her head, and then made an annoyed face. Laughing a little, Ryan put his hand on Sara's head, stroking the girl as if she were a cat. "Is that what you wanted?" He said, laughing. She just nodded, with an embarrassed face.
Also coming down the stairs that led to the chairs, Alice came in a very modest way. She approached walking elegantly until she came in front of Ryan, with a smile, she said "Good morning Master Ryan, can we stay with you today?" This neutral speaking style that Alice possesses was making him a little uncomfortable, following with the two girls to one of the seats, he said "Why are you so polite to me?" and in the same instant, Alice made a different face.
It was as if she was confused by the question, so she answered with another question "If I am your servant, I should treat you like a master, right?". That answer made sense, but it was as if she always had some sort of barrier when she was speaking. The only time Alice Lightstone would lose that armor and pokerface was during sex, so Ryan had an interesting idea.

Then the three of them sat down on one of those long wooden benches that made up the classrooms. Today, they would have a few more magical theory classes and after that, it would be practical classes.

"Theory of portals and then introduction to talismans. After those classes it will be ranged combat training" Alice replied, as she opened her notebooks.
Ryan followed attentively with the class, but there was one thing bothering him. The entire class remained attentive to his presence, this time, a much larger number of glances were being cast at him. And among those glances, at least five were of a different status.

The skinny boy was drawing in his notebook, he was making a sort of magic circle. "Don't worry Hank, I just need to finish this project and you will be able to face him head-on in the duel" The two then started laughing, while the skinny boy showed the magic circle to the other.
The two were at least forty rows apart, it would have been impossible to hear their conversation if it hadn't been for Nyx's help. Crossing his arms, Ryan was puzzled as to what their idea was. Turning to Alice, he asked, "Is there an upcoming event?"
Alice replied with the same neutral face as always, but in her tone of voice, it was evident how surprised she appeared to be at the question "Yes Master Ryan, don't you remember the battle event that will take place next month?"
