"This is so disgusting," Ryan said, as he watched hundreds of skeletons enveloped with a green goo. All the creatures noticed his entrance into that room, while the ogres had no choice but to continue their duel, the slime-possessed corpses began to advance toward the traveler.
The creature in the center of the room seemed to be the boss of those slimes. 'So I need to focus on that bug first' He concluded, as he advanced to the center.

Several pieces of bones were thrown toward Ryan, and within seconds he pulled out of his backpack one of his black katanas. 'I think that will be coming for now' then he went about cutting the bones.
<Hahaha! That's almost like baseball! Look how far this skull has flown!
'Why don't you help me with this a little bit?'
<All right! all right! How do we arrange it then?
Ryan just nodded as he tried to dodge the attacks. Meanwhile, Nyx appeared in her physical form, flying next to Ryan and activating his skills, as he ran, she used his mana to shoot spells automatically. Several spheres of fire were coming out of the succubus' hands, all aimed at the center of the room.
The attacks were being effective against the slime boss. But every time a part of his body disappeared, the underlings joined in to regain full form. In addition, there was still the problem of the toxic smoke that was arising from the elimination of those monsters.
'Shit, this way we're going to end up suffocating here' That smoke was building up in the center of that enclosed space. Causing the remaining ogres to choke to death, within seconds more than forty ogres fell to the ground. That green goo was spreading across the floor, going over the bodies of those creatures.

One of the fire spheres managed to hit the glowing skull that was lighting up the room. The goo that was enveloping it became a little less thick, just as part of the skull broke off.

With all his might, he kicked that skull, causing it to detach from the rough stone wall and break into several pieces. A gray smoke arose from the goo being burned off by Ryan's aura, as countless pieces of the skull flew everywhere.
'Here...' Ryan concluded, as he saw a small red crystal. It was the core of the slime boss, however, that crystal was still too far away for him to reach. Channeling all his mana, he began to throw as many attacks as he could, using 'Fire Fang' and 'Lightning Strike'. That smoke was increasing, meanwhile, the slimes began to enclose him inside a kind of bubble. 'These fucking living snots want to suffocate me...'
Holding his breath, he continued to launch as many attacks as he could. Both Ryan and Nyx were throwing spells, causing the wall to explode and rebuild itself several times. With a little more energy, he threw everything he had into a beam of Light in the exact direction of the crystal, causing it to shatter.
At the same instant, that gigantic goo fell to the ground, as if it had no more strength left. 'At least this shit didn't get my clothes dirty...' Ryan concluded. But his face was turning extremely red from holding his breath, running out of the room, he finally could stop and breathe.
'Nyx... I need... I need a wind skill..." He said, as he tried to get his breath together.
<It doesn't look like it's over...
"What... What do you mean by that?" He said, breathlessly, as he looked around the room.
After the slimes fell to the floor, spreading that green goo all over the room. It became more apparent what was below that boss, a little below the pile of bones was a circular staircase leading to another floor.
As Ryan approached that ladder he noticed how the bones and that goo were blocking that spot, next to the ladder was the eye of the slime boss.
'That shit... Is it still alive?'
The eye was moving, it seemed to be aware of what was happening. Grabbing a skull, Ryan blew that eye out with a single attack, like he was playing dodge ball. The eye exploded, inside it, there was no core, just a tiny sphere of mana.
'So that was part of some monster... Well, a red portal wouldn't have just one room'
Channeling some of his mana, Ryan activated the skill 'Judgement of the Sun' A small sphere of light appeared next to him. It was the size of a small Wisp, enough to illuminate them as they descended the stairs.
It was a little harder to walk through that goo, plus the stairs were a little slippery. As they descended the steps, the sound of the goo being trampled was as loud as Ryan's own heavy breathing.
With the help of the light orb, it was possible to recognize some sort of writing on the walls. A writing that only Nyx could understand, with a surprised voice, she exclaimed <Ryan! We're going to get some really good money!!>
'What? You were able to understand that?'

As soon as they reached the end of the stairs, three paths emerged into a room about the same size as the previous one. They were wide stone corridors, with circular arches and wooden doors that completely deteriorated over time.

Every second he launched more attacks, but nothing seemed to stop these creatures. They were getting closer and closer, it was like a brown color of cockroaches the size of a tennis shoe.
Emerging in the middle of the cockroaches was a gigantic spider, with eight green eyes that glowed in the dark.
