Chapter 85 85 - Dragons

As the fire attacks blasted those cockroaches, a small hole appeared in the group, revealing a gigantic spider with eight green eyes that glowed in the dark.

'If fire attacks don't work, I only have one option' Ryan concluded.

Moving the orb of Light in front of the tunnel, the energy inside the orb increased. That sphere of light was growing until it completely took over the tunnel, there was nowhere free outside that light. It was as if a sun-shaped wall had appeared in front of it. The orb kept moving forward as he went on.

Then a sound like the sound of crunching leaves came. Along with this sound, several rat-like screeches echoed through the walls of the passage. It was the cockroaches being destroyed by the Judgement of the Sun.

Even with that barrier, some cockroaches managed to get out through the sphere of light. They appeared completely destroyed, as if they had caught fire, and eventually stopped moving and died a little before approaching Ryan.

With a look of disgust, he channeled another sphere of mana into his right hand. That sphere was transforming from a blue color to the same golden color as the barrier, then he cast that sphere causing the size of Judgement of the sun to grow even larger.

'That should do for a while...' He concluded as he continued to move forward.

The sound of those insects being killed grew louder and louder, lasting several minutes. But after a long walk, that sound disappeared.

<Maybe they went another way>

'Check the other side for me, please'

Nyx then came out like a ghost and passed in between the two spheres of light.

<We are arriving in a larger room, the cockroaches came out>

That wall of Light then got smaller and smaller, until it became just two small spheres that were left floating beside Ryan and serving their initial purpose of just being torches.

As soon as they stepped out into the hallway, that room began to light up. The mana of the spheres was sucked out in moments, causing several torches to begin to rise, one at a time. The illuminated room revealed itself as a throne room, in the center was the skeleton of a dead dragon, there was still some flesh between the joints of that creature. On top of that monster's head was another eye, identical to that of the slime boss.

Sitting on a stone throne in front of the dragon was a skeleton. Its body glowed with a sphere of mana in the center of its chest, while a blue light shone through its eyes.



"Good to see you again, calcium mage" Ryan said with a smile of relief.

*GRRRAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHHTTTT*

That Litch shouted, and again, the sound of several insects arose. There were two doors on either side of the throne room, and within seconds, several giant spiders appeared, spitting venom and running toward the intruder.

Snapping one of his hands, Ryan caused the Judgement of the Sun to grow larger. With one more slap, that sphere split into more than ten, and these small spheres of light were flying everywhere, eliminating those spiders.





Ryan's kill streak was increasing significantly.

"I think it's about time I took this game a little more seriously"

<Breathe deep, master>

Sighing all the air that was inside his lungs. Ryan closed both eyes, black flames were surging around him, the Katana that was on his back disappeared, returning to his inventory. Holding both hands up, Nyx gave him the two magic pistols he had acquired. Opening his eyes, a red flame began to rise from his demonic gaze. The fire grew larger and larger around him, becoming more and more concentrated.

Pointing his weapon at the spiders that kept coming up, he began to shoot several spheres of black fire. The spiders were falling one by one, receiving those attacks on their heads and then closing in as if they had been trampled.

*GRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAGGGHTT* The litch was even more annoyed to see that his spiders were being defeated so easily. So he rose from his throne and with a gesture of his hands, caused a staff of bones to appear at his side. That staff was floating in front of the monster.

That bone creature reached out both hands and placed them above the staff. Casting that blue fire, he made the staff glow and catch fire. Then Litch joined both hands together and all the spider bodies flew with speed to the center of the room.

Even the spiders that were alive were carried away, within seconds a black sphere formed floating in the air. The green juice of the creatures' blood was pulling out of that heap of flesh, and as the spiders screamed in pain at their deaths, that mass was shaping up. A magic circle appeared below the spiders, glowing with red light.

But Ryan only activated his Demon Wings, the flames around his body created two black wings that launched him in seconds to the top of that sphere. With a single shot from his gun, he managed to completely explode that mass of bodies. The attack went through the bodies and broke the magic circle below the creatures, making Litch even angrier.

That skeletal mage began to take fire an even more intense force, the flames being moved up to the dragon, which stood up and turned toward the intruder. The dragon was too big to move around in that place, but even with difficulty, that creature was destroying the room as it stood up. Channeling all its energy, a blue fire emerged in the middle of the monster's bones, it was about to fire an attack on Ryan.

Aiming one of the pistols at the dragon's head, Ryan fired four shots, exploding red eye that was on that creature's forehead. The dragon skeleton then fell to the ground, lifeless.

Annoyed, the litch began to launch more and more attacks toward Ryan, all in vain. Dodging all the attacks, the intruder appeared in front of Litch. With one of the pistols pointed at that skeleton's head, an abnormal reaction ensued.

That creature extended both hands, protecting its face. As if it was afraid of death. The skeleton was saying something, but neither Nyx nor Ryan could understand what it was.

"ghrak naharak! guratak... nhomarak"

It was as if he was begging to stay alive.

"I'm sorry calcium mage. I need to finish this portal.

Then Ryan pulled the trigger and blew Litch's skull off. Ending that immortal wizard's long story.

* A few minutes later *

"Did you hear that?" One of the guild members asked the other.

"That sound... It sounds like something came out of the portal" The two were looking apprehensive as they waited in the garden of the house.

It was as if the floor of that house was being scratched by the claws of some creature. Even though they were apprehensive, they approached the window of the house, very cautiously.

Through the window, they were seeing that same student dragging a dragon's skull through the house. Trying to carry it outside.

"That's not going out the door..." Ryan said while sighing.
