Damian ran out into the corridor, and with his shield, he was pushing through the rocks and dirt, but nothing was being effective. Even though he had spent a considerable amount of stamina and mana, it was obvious to everyone that there was only one way for the group to go. Sighing, Ryan said, "If you guys want to dig, you can stay with the whiny tank. I'll finish this challenge." The group just nodded, "This facility must have another escape route" Kodiak concluded, as he followed Ryan.
When Damian turned around, he found none of the group members. Tired and dirty with dirt, he took off running towards the rest of the group members "I'm not going to die alone in this shit". Leaving the initial room of that underground dungeon, the group of travelers found a room that looked like a place where the guards of that facility were supposed to stay. There were wooden beds chained to the walls, next to rusty iron spears of dubious quality.
However, the whole place felt a bit strange, the beds were smaller than a normal human bed. The largest bed must have been at most five feet long, the clothes and armor were evidently smaller and wider as well. "A dwarf base..." Kodiak said, as he rummaged through the room. There was some spoiled food and leftover meat on top of the table.
"Ice regions have several crystals, this must be a mining outpost" Nivia said, as she rummaged through one of the bags on the floor "If it's a mining base, it won't be a problem getting away from here" Ruri concluded, as she pulled the wooden planks off one of the beds that were stuck to the wall.

'Probably more Shaman mask'
The girl then began to channel the magic of a fire spirit into her fingers, with that she went about cutting small masks of different shapes. The wood was a bit stale and damaged, but it was malleable and sturdy enough for Ruri's plan.
She then completed four masks, turning to the table, that beautiful brown haired girl was watching intently for that furniture. Kodiak started laughing at that situation "Yes! You can take the wood from the table to make more masks", this confirmation was all she needed, in seconds she was already with a smile on her face cutting through that old table.
With eight wooden masks, Ruri created four elementals that went through all the doors that room had. There were three double wooden doors that led into corridors, following different areas of the dungeon, while at the top there was a ventilation system.
The group followed the path to the center, exiting through a wooden door that was in front of the central table in the room. Ryan went in front and Damian followed behind, Kodiak, Roy and the two girls were in the center as supports.
The walls of the dungeon began to shrink, it was as if the structure itself was trying to crush those warriors. "What the fuck is this" Damian said, as he used one of his shields to push the wall back.
"Dwarf traps... That building is more important than we imagined" Kodiak said, as he clenched his eyes. Then Nivia began to conjure a skill, shouting she said "Freezing Steps". The speed of the group increased considerably, causing everyone to be able to run as fast as possible out of that corridor. They narrowly missed being crushed by the dungeon.
The moment they stepped into the second room, Kodiak stepped forward and put his arm in front of Ryan's path. "Be careful, if this was the first trap, the entire dungeon is infested with worse problems," the druid then turned to Ruri and motioned for her to bring the elemental closer. The spirit had advanced into the third room, but quickly the creature returned, running around with the musty wooden mask.
"Little ice friend, can you break the floorboards that are here in front?" Ruri said, and the creature nodded in agreement. The little ice spirit then began to remove the stone squares that made up that room, and below those tiles was a series of complex incantations written with dwarven runes.
Nivia's eyes were attentive and she easily recognized what that problem was "It's a rune with genetic material, it activates the room's protection system". Damian was with a confused face "Then why didn't the spirits activate the room?". Kodiak slapped his own face, sighing, he replied "Because spirits don't have blood, nor are they alive. So the runes only recognized them as a heap of mana."
"I had an idea" Nivia said, at the same instant, Kodiak's eyes opened in surprise. The druid was wearing a smile, as if he had understood the girl's idea. Then that gray-haired magician activated the "Magic Mirror" skill. This was an advanced type magic support skill, the mana expenditure was high, but it was the only option if the group wanted to get out of that place alive.
Walking quietly, they advanced through that room full of mining tools and magical dwarven items. There were no interesting loot, but Ryan was guarding all the boxes and dwarven magic tools.
<These items are precious, take them>
'Really? Dwarven boxes are considered junk loot'
<I don't believe that...
"Why are you taking these dwarven tools? They are worthless" Roy said, curious.
Ryan replied with a smile, as he put two of those small golden boxes into his backpack "I like studying magic".
'Everyone talks about this being useless...do you know how to use one of these things?'
<Yes, it's not that complicated>
At that very instant, Ryan's eyes were filled with hope and dreams. 'If you know how to use this... We can make unimaginable money' These kinds of items are sold in large quantities and usually only serve to have their mana extracted or to be used for decoration.
The shaman Ruri was watching Ryan's behavior closely, with a confused look on her face, she wondered 'Why is he so happy with magic dwarf boxes?' Giving a small laugh, she found his behavior a bit cute 'What an interesting newbie'.
There were only two doors in that room. The first led towards a room of chests, the door was open and that looked like a large warehouse, the other door led towards what looked like a much larger hall. A crude iron double door was ajar, making it impossible to fully see what was in front of it. "The room is empty, we can move forward" Ruri said, as she ordered the ice elemental to move forward again.
The group nodded, but Roy took a different choice. The red-haired boy entered the warehouse, and in the same instant, received an arrow in the shoulder. The shot was so fast that he had no time to react, only feeling the hot blood flowing out of his body, as his armor was painted an intense color of red.
Within seconds, an iron cage descended through the door. Causing Roy to be trapped in that room, the panther Snowy was biting the iron bars, trying to cut with her own teeth, but this was not being effective.
Another arrow was shot, this time it hit the hunter in the middle of his belly. The arrow pierced his body from side to side, causing him to spit up some blood. Then another arrow flew towards Roy, hitting his arm from side to side and piercing part of his elbow. Tears were streaming down the red-haired boy's face, and he fell to the ground. He was panting, and his eyes were beginning to mist over from the loss of blood.
Within seconds Ryan appeared in front of the iron bars. And activating his demonic wings, he grabbed the two iron bars and pulled them with all the strength he possessed, taking advantage of his flying ability, he managed to free Roy.
*DUUUUM*
Ryan's body hit the other side of the wall, he had flown wildly across the room. Looking forward, he saw Roy lying on the floor, as a pool of blood poured out of his body.
*Another arrow flew, through the door, but this time it went straight out, hitting the wall. The arrow came at least two feet away from Ryan.
"GO!" Ruri shouted, with all his energy. The ice spirit ran and was increasing in size, the creature stopped in front of Roy, protecting him from the arrows that kept coming out of that room.
The white panther Snowy was lying next to that hunter, licking the boy's face as tears came down from that archer's already clouded eyes. "Snowy, I'm fine" he said, *cof* some blood came out of his mouth as he coughed almost choking.
Across the room, Nivia ran towards Roy, the girl knelt down and pulled out the arrow that was in his chest. "I'm going to have to deactivate the mirror. Everyone stay at your posts, I'm going to channel the healing into it" The group nodded and then, she began to conjure healing magic into him.
Ryan stepped forward and knelt in front of him, placing one of his hands on the hunter's shoulder, he activated his 'Healing Hands' skill. "I'm not such an efficient healer, but maybe this will relieve you a bit kid"
Roy's blood and wounds and his bleeding improved a little. Kodiak looked into Ryan's eyes, and the two understood what they should do. Activating the teleport, they sent the hunter and his panther back to the guild base.
