Chapter 251 - Sanctum of Blazing Thorns
With each of their requirements set out on the table, their first stop would be the auction house to see what they can and can't buy. Once that's done, she'll message Chen Yu about the stuff that they were lacking and ask Nan Tian to send it to her in the same package as her rebirth pills.
Arriving at the auction house, they saw that it was lively as usual. After all, most would spend hours in the auction house looking for a good deal.
Walking past the large crowd of people, Shiro looked for a spare terminal and started to search up the items.
"Hmm… this is a little troubling." She muttered with a frown. After doing a quick search of the all the items that they needed, many were extremely expensive while others weren't even available.
"Solari Core costs 10 Bronze Erin's, Ascendance Stone takes 15 bronze Erins and the Enhanced Demonic Source cost 15 Erins as well. I'll need to order the Tempered Blade Essence and Hellfire soul gem through Lil Chen. As for the Crystallised Demon Essence, I'll need to buy some materials so that I can make that through alchemy." Shiro muttered to herself. It was expected that C ranked class up materials were expensive but she didn't expect them to be THIS expensive.
However, while it was a lot of money, if one was to continuously farm dungeons, they should be able to gather this money in a few months if they're with a party. One month if they're alone.
But, thanks to the slaughter she had committed before coming back to the faction, she had more than enough money to buy everything she needed. In total, she had 8 silver and 47 Erins in her system.
While it may be very little for what a level 85 could earn, Shiro guessed that the woman must have stored most of it in her faction bank so that it may be used in the future.
Even then, 8 silvers were plenty.
"Shiro, what are Erins?" Madison asked curiously.
"A higher form of currency. Since monsters drop a lot of money, people had a new currency in place to balance things out. 1 billion dollars would be a single bronze Erin. So Lyrica's Solari core is basically 10 billion dollars." Shiro replied while purchasing all of the items.
In addition to this, she had also purchased two sets of materials for the Crystallised Demon Essence in case she fails the first try.
Walking up to the counter, she completed the transaction and handed them the items.
"Now then, let's head to the dungeon." Shiro smiled.
"Which dungeon are we going to clear?" Lyrica asked curiously.
"I was thinking that we should fight a level 60 dungeon since the boss has plenty of health. That way, Silvia can heal for longer." Shiro replied.
"Eh? Heal a boss?" Silvia tilted her head in confusion.
"Well yeah, bosses naturally have plenty of health. Since Lyrica and Madison don't take too much damage, you just have to heal the boss continuously to fill the requirement." Shiro explained.
"You… can do that?" Silvia was uncertain since she had never heard of healing a boss to fill your requirement. Normally, one would kill the boss as fast as they could and not the other way around.
"Trust me on this." Shiro smiled.
Leaving the auction house, they made their way to Thunder Lord's Cavern, a level 60 dungeon where the boss's battle strategy is heavily dependent on magic.
"So, do you want me to help you reach the boss quickly or would you rather fight the monsters yourselves?" Shiro asked.
"Fufu, you haven't seen us fight in a while have you? Well I can say for a fact that we've improved our fighting standards massively in the time that we've been away. Level 60's aren't too much of a problem for us." Lyrica chuckled as the other two nodded with confidence.
"Oh? Well then, let's see what you've got." Shiro smiled.
Entering the dungeon, Shiro had Yin and Lisandra stand by her and do nothing while the other three dashed towards the first group of monsters.
"Yuan Tian, how has Lyrica's training been?" Shiro asked, gesturing for the butler to show himself.
"She has been progressing nicely my princess. Or shall I say, your majesty." Yuan Tian kneeled down in front of her.
"Spare me the majesty crap. It makes me sound like an old woman." Shiro chuckled.
"Understood. I must say though, I've underestimated Lyrica a lot. When I first saw you with her, I had ignored her efforts due to your talent princess. But now that I had some time to train her, I can say that she is by far one of the most hard-working people I've ever seen." Yuan Tian praised with a smile.
"Is that so? Well, let's see what she's got in store for me then." Shiro smiled and turned towards the trio.
Currently, they were facing a level 60 Thunder Wolf, a monster known for its incredible speed.
However, the three weren't fazed at all.
"Six Fold Enhancement!" Silvia chanted as six tier 3 magic circles rotated around her staff.
Activating defence knight, Madison raised her shield and slammed it against the ground.
A deep red aura enveloped the wolf as his bloodshot eyes locked onto her.
"Come!" She grinned.
*GRAHHH!
Pouncing towards her, lightning flickered off his body and attempted to zap Madison.
"Rebound Aura!"
*BOOM!!!!
A thin golden veil covered her body and shield, redirecting the lightning back at the wolf.
*BANG!
Clashing against the shield, the wolf widened his eyes when he realised that he couldn't move her back at all.
"Heh, a good tank needs to be immovable!" Madison grinned.
Pivoting on her foot, she shifted her body into the wolf's weak spot and landed a devastating punch.
*CRACK! BOOM!!!
The sound of bones breaking could be heard as the wolf slammed into the cave wall.
"My turn." Lyrica muttered, flashing before the wolf.
'Oh my, she's managed to learn Second Phantom properly now.' Shiro thought in surprise.
Drawing out a sword, it was no longer the dual ended blade that Shiro had gifted her. Instead it was a long sword that had a deep red blade.
Tracing her finger along the blade, a trail of fire lit up on the edge of the blade. Twirling her sword in her hands, she narrowed her eyes as a soft red glow appeared in her pupil.
*PUSHI PUSHI PUSHI PUSHI!
In an instant, several deep lacerations appeared all over the wolf's body. Opening his mouth, he wanted to howl in pain.
However, before he could, Lyrica's sword flickered towards him as her killing intent was very apparent.
Slicing along the wolf's face, Lyrica stopped the sword once the tip was where his temple was located. Narrowing her eyes, she pivoted on her right foot.
*BANG!
Slamming the pommel of the sword with her spare foot, the sword pierced the wolf's brain and killed it.
"Mn. Her control over her body had definitely improved. If it was the old Lyrica, this would never be possible unless she was using her hidden attunement. For her to be able to reach this standard without the attunement is quite a feat in itself." Shiro praised.
"Ha ha, princess, you've yet to see Lyrica in her best form." Yuan Tian laughed.
"Oh? Is that so?" Shiro raised an eyebrow.
However, she knew that she'd get her answer soon. This was because wolves always travelled in packs. Once you see one, other wolves were bound to be close.

And as expected, several wolf howls could be heard as Shiro felt several presences coming closer.
"Lyrica, you got this?" Madison asked.
"Yup. I want to show off to Shiro after all. Silvi~, buff me please." Lyrica called out with a smile.
"Of course." Silvia nodded and slammed her staff down onto the ground.
"Berserker Enhancement."

Lyrica's aura turned violent as her hair fluttered from the effects.
"Berserk skill? No… that's not right." Shiro furrowed her brows.
"It's similar to a berserk skill princess. Silvia can increase two stats areas by 20%. If she used this skill on you, you'll experience a 20% increase to your mana and another stat that you focus on.
"Heh~ So a 20% increase to my INT and AGI then." Shiro muttered in surprise.
"And does Silvia experience any backlash?" She asked.
"None. It's just that the mana needed for the skill is always 40% of her total mana. Even then, she could just use a mana regen buff on herself." Yuan Tian replied with a smile.
"That is indeed helpful." Shiro nodded.
Looking back at the fight, she saw that Lyrica was surrounded by 10 wolves with each of them being at level 60. Seeing the confidence in her eyes, Shiro knew that Lyrica could handle this.
