Chapter 402

"He is as mischievous as his father!" Priscilla Reyes exclaimed as she watched as a maid found some goo that little Emilio had placed in her pocket.

"Emilio, do you want me to call your father?" Katerina threatened as Emilio ran up to her.

"Auntie, no!" Little Emilio cried out as he hugged Katerina's leg.

"Hi Auntie, Hi Nicole." Katerina said with a smile

"How are you feeling?" Nicole asked as she walked over to Katerina who was holding Emilio's hand.

"I'm great! Work is great! I just won a case." Katerina said with a shrug as she pretended not to know about what Nicole was talking about.

"Come now, let's bring these kids to watch their grandpas." Priscilla Reyes said as he led the two women into Nationalia.

Since Nationalia was an extremely exclusive golf and country club, everyone respected the women's privacy, but it didn't stop them from looking at the two young boys and the women that carried them.

"I bet they are wondering if Emilio is my kid." Katerina said with a laugh. She wasn't a stranger to pregnancy and dating rumors, her sex life and dating life were not exactly as clean as everyone expected her to be.

"It's not like you care." Nicole said with a laugh.

"I want a photo with them." Katerina said as she handed her phone to Nicole and took Tristan from his mother. Tristan had gotten used to seeing Katerina almost everyday, so he was more than happy to join his auntie and Emilio for a photo.

"Okay, now one with just Tristan, since Emilio's face can't be seen by the public." Katerina told Nicole.

"Emilio, can you go over to your auntie Nicole for a while?" Katerina asked Emilio, who nodded and ran over to Nicole.

After a few photos, Katerina let Tristan wobble over to his mother while she opened her arms to let Emilio run over to her. Emilio quickly hugged Katerina who lifted him and threw him in the air, making Emilio laugh.

"Daddy says that's bad, again auntie!" Emilio said with a laugh. It was a game he and his Auntie Katerina played that always ended up with her getting scolded by his overprotective father.

Katerina did as the little boy asked and threw him in the air, when she caught him she hugged him tightly.

"Katerina, don't spoil him." Priscilla Reyes scolded as she watched Katerina play with her grandson. "He's three years old. He can walk on his own."

"But Auntie, he's so adorable." Katerina said as she hugged Emilio tightly.

"If you love kids so much, just marry you know who and have kids." Priscilla Reyes teased as they walked over to the viewing deck of the golf course.

"Auntie, you know that I'm not ready for that yet." Katerina said with a sigh. "In due time." She said with a smile.

"I understand, your career is important too." Priscilla Reyes said with a knowing nod.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!" Emilio shouted as he saw his grandfathers walking towards them. Emilio Reyes III and his friends had just finished half a round of golf and were walking back to the club house of Nationalia. Unlike Emilio Reyes, his other friends had not fully retired. Katerina's own father was still the president, he still had two more years left in his term.

"Emilio, you can't shout like that at the golf course." Priscilla playfully scolded her grandson.

"Sorry Grandma." Emilio said as he gave the cutest frown.

"Do you mind if I take him, Katerina?" Priscilla asked. Katerina nodded and let Emilio run over to his grandmother.

She quickly took out her phone and posted her photo with Tristan in her public social media account, her caption read 'You will always be auntie's little baby, don't grow up to fast Tristan. Thanks for lending me your son today @DraNicChan'

"Auntie, do you think Cedric will get mad if I post Emilio's photo in my personal account?" Katerina asked.

"I don't see the harm. Maybe you could just keep it vague in case anyone accidentally sees it." Priscilla told Katerina. The Reyeses were quite adept with handling social media and the public, it probably came from the fact that they wanted to be as low key as possible. Even Ayanna who was the most public figure in the family limited her public exposure on social media.

"Thanks Auntie." Katerina said as she quickly opened the social media app in her phone.

She picked one of the photos Nicole had taken and posted it in her personal account. She didn't have that many followers in her personal account, just around 50, most were her relatives and a couple of friends. Keeping Priscilla's advice in mind Katerina thought of a vague caption to post. She simply placed 'Day out with these babies' and added several heart emojis to the post.

"Katerina, what are you doing here?" Her father, Jose Sebastian asked as he arrived with Emilio Reyes III and her friends father's.

"Oh, Nicole invited me. She said she was taking Tristan and Little Emilio out for a play date. It's so sad that Emilio can't freely go out with his aunties and uncles, but it's for his sake anyway." Katerina said with a shrug as she went over and kissed her father on the cheek.

"It's a price to pay for privacy, Katerina." Jose said with a shrug.

"I know dad. It was just good that we all had each other as playmates while Emilio has none." Katerina said with a pout.

"Maybe Alexi can give him a friend." Jose teased.

"Ugh, with Jen." Katerina said, rolling her eyes.

"It's your brother's personal matter. Don't meddle." Jose warned his daughter with a stern look.

"Jose, it's only natural for siblings to be protective of each other." Raphael Chan said as he approached the father and daughter while carrying his grandson.

"Miguel and Eric were never hostile towards Ian." Katerina said.

"Ian and the boys are a different matter, they already knew Ian." Raphael Chan said with a laugh.

"Kat, we know your heart is in the right place. I'm sure your brother will eventually understand." Jose said as he placed a hand on his daughter's shoulder.

Katerina was taken by surprise when her phone suddenly began to ring. She specifically told her assistant not to let anyone bother her today, she had even left her work phone at home taking only her personal one.

Katerina frowned as she saw the name that was calling, it was Cedric. She sighed and excused herself to take the call, Cedric wouldn't have bothered her if it weren't an urgent matter.
