World War 3
The Earth has changed after World War 3. There have been many vast reforms after World War 3 that those born during the void years could not imagine how the world functions prior to the establishment of the World Governing Powers, the current technology and the various restrictions and requirements that each country has even when interacting online.
But in order to understand what the era prior to World War 3 looked like, it is best to understand what led to it in the first place.
Causes of World War 3
The Third World War, or World War 3, had several factors that led to its occurrence. Though there were a plethora of events which could be tied in the ultimate event, the following causes are generally agreed upon by historians:
The Moral Degrade
Much can be said about the morals of humanity at the peak of Post Modernism. Today, morality has an official standard. As dictated by the Morality of Man written by the World Governing Powers, we all now follow a standard system of morality that guides this world.
Prior to this International Decree, the World had no standard of morality. While an acceptable and unspoken standard existed prior to the Post Modern Era, the general consensus was that Morality is a subjective field.
Originally, morality was decided based on two categories: Religion and Conscience.
While many religions provided the standard of morality in many countries, the western influence of Post-Modernization pushed that Morality is a subjective truth that may differ from person-to-person and race-to-race. This eventually led to the degrading of morality as various groups later pushed for immoral acts such as Bestiality, Pedophilia, object relations, incestuous marriages, and other post-modern marriages that do not follow the standard nuclear family imposed by the World Governing Powers.
There were recorded marriages that do not follow the "standard" nuclear family as standardized by the World Governing Powers. Due to the lack of this so-called "standard" moral code, family and relationships became founded on subjective truths rather than objective truths. The most famous and strangest non-nuclear family belonged to the Onabad family which were composed of five parents which were; Two men, one transvestite, one woman, and one minor. Other notable non-nuclear families included three parents, one of which, was a horse.
The variety of strange non-nuclear families began when the cure for most sexual diseases and HIV related ailments were developed allowing members of society to have diverse relationships with each other.
The World Governing Powers later concluded that the destruction of the nuclear family further brought about the degrading of morality. Governing Ambassador Francis Blastoise who also is an adamant speaker against the relativity of truth, summarized the Post-modern destruction in his famous quotation:
"If you center your family structure in the foundations that truth is relative, you create a huge problem. Because there is no standard and no norms to guide a family, the next generation becomes misguided and confused about how they are supposed to relate to one another. They do not know how they should relate to a girl, how they should relate to a boy, how they should relate to animals or even with those older or younger to them. A family structure that is free from the structure that defined what a family only leads to chaos. These were the factors that made morality weak before the 3rd World War. How else can someone uphold morality, when an eight-year-old boy, because of the diversity in his house, views his teacher and classmates as potential sexual partners either individually or as a group? If you disavow any absolute principles, be it in the areas of truth, family, relationships, and morality, society is sure to fail!"
As morality depicted by religion started to fail, and everything became conscience base, the laws which were supposed to protect the innocent, slowly became the protection sexual predators, murderers, rapist and other groups used all because the truth for them was irrelevant and people should not racially, sexually and morally discriminate against them.
It was these atrocities that also caused the Minority Uprising and how it was easy for various countries to gather an army for their respective rebellion.
The Arabian Wars
The people from the Post Modern era did not believe in the moral decay but attribute the Arabian War as the official cause of World War Three.
The incident was said to have begun on the 25th of April, 2059, several touring online artists were constantly mocking the cultural practices of the nations within the Middle East. As the tour reached Israel, a conflict between these artists and several Orthodox Jews and Muslims soon ended tragically with the death of three of the artist.
Israel and the Muslim group, in general, all condemned the hateful spites of the people involved in this event, however, the reports of cyber and physical bullying, against Jews and Muslims were reported to have grown by twenty times.
During this time, another group of foreign tourists which included an A-List celebrity traveled across the same route the former group traveled and generally aimed to promote globalization. But behind this front, the group proceeded to perform were the same offenses and insults towards the ethnic and religious heritage of those countries.
The deaths of this group were largely unknown and theories erupted wherein the Muslims or the Jews were the murderers for this event.
Confessing Muslims and Jews all over the world were attacked by their belief and mocked and terrorist attacks in these nations occurred but were not generally covered by the international media since various media groups were either threatened or attack for investigating or covering these incidents. This could have been the work of the Pioneers. Where they already here by then? Lifts and removes glasses.
Eventually, various cities in the Middle East, particularly countries which are predominantly Muslims experienced bombings, shootouts, chemical attacks, and other crimes. Muslims around the world were also mistreated and attacked.
The Jews strangely received the same treatment. Although the anger towards the Muslim groups was encouraged due to the many terrorist Muslim extremists. The Jews were also mistreated due to the bandwagon mentality. Christian groups who spoke against the atrocities and crimes the world was allowing towards these two religions were also attacked.
At that moment, the world hated these three religions and these three religions started to develop an unspoken friendship as they fell into similar circumstances.
The growing hatred towards the Muslim and Jewish groups paved the way for the Arabian war.
Theories about how the Arabian wars started to grow strangely diverse starting from this as very few media records, either written, or recorded or posted online could be retrieved regarding this incident.
Many historians would often attribute the fact that a large deposit of Almetal was discovered in Tel Meggido, Israel. Aside from the recent discovery of an oil field within Israeli territory, the monopoly of Almetal sparked international rage and various nations pressured Israel to export these metals in the name of Globalization. Several similar metals were found in nearby countries and it became an area where Britain, Russia, and China fought over.
It is a widely accepted belief that several terrorist acts that occurred on Britain, Russia and China weren't instigated by Israel or by the terrorist groups residing in these nations but a plot by these countries to defame Israel and the surrounding Muslim nations.
If the terrorist weren't from Israel, they would be known to be natives from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, and Lebanon. All of which, were later discovered to hold a deposit of Burkladine Gas and were countries that secretly rediscovered and improve the crafting of Damascus steel.
Under the guise of globalization, and that these nations were hosting and training terrorist who were against globalization and other post-modern beliefs, the attack on these countries led to the Arabian Wars. Almost every Middle Eastern country became involved in the wars or took part in it fighting against the then Peoples Republic of China, Russia, the former USA, and various countries from the former EU.
The public all praised the actions of the governments who moved against the Middle Eastern countries. As such, the group known as the United Nations were all viewed by historians to have turned a blind eye to these wars.
The Minority Uprising
The Minority referred to the groups which did not fully adapt to the "acceptable standards" that were adopted worldwide. The standards were very dubious as it was generally changed every three to five years at that time. People pursued acceptance and would generally attack those who didn't accept them.
Although the trends of what was acceptable change according to the views of the majority, a common trend was that those who were religious, culturally conservative, old-fashioned, and those who did not want to have homosexual (and all of its variations) relationships were considered hateful and divisive.
Religions across the world were mocked but any mockery against atheistic or agnostic beliefs was considered hateful. Homosexuality was pushed to be the norm that I would not be "normal" for a man or a woman to be homosexually attracted to another.
The destruction on Israel paved the way for several rebellions. Christian, Muslim and Jewish groups formed parties and committees to counteract the ongoing threat but were constantly met with mysterious disappearances, murders and other threats towards the leaders and key members of these groups.
However, this all changed when America fell into a state of civil war.
On the 25th of December, 2061, Russian-born American citizen managed to successfully lead a coup d'etat and thus the Americas was born. The support of the minority, which was well-funded and armed due to the abundance of other ethnic groups in the country solidified the standing of the new President, Graden Pouterfisx. Holding conservative views and being an active member of the Orthodox church, he vowed to help all religions who were scorned and constantly mistreated.
Rallies and movements from various communities shouldering post-modern beliefs erupted everywhere in the then USA. However, all rallies and online petitions were easily shot down with a simple PR move. The shocking retaliation where President Grade Pouterfisx streamed a compilation of all mistreatments, attacks, and murders of all religious groups all over the world. The video continued to stream with a famous quote that Post-Modern movements would often say as a running caption, "Accept everyone! Respect Everyone! No to Hate Speeches!"
The compiled videos were said to have numbered over a hundred thousand and this video continued to play for five days.
This video sparked massive angry outbreaks from the Minorities leading to a state of lawlessness. The military came but did not protect the Majority and instead aided the minorities.
Despite having over a hundred videos showing the atrocity of the new President, Minorities all over the world joined in the movement. Shootouts, coup d'etats, and invasions suddenly occurred in various countries.
It was later found out that President Grade Pouterfisx had allied with Russia and have been sending military aid all over the world. Over thirty nations underwent a civil war and various post-modern groups and personalities were massacred.
As new governments were formed, the world was divided into many nations who supported Post-modern views and those who maintained conservative views.
The Third World War
In the midst of the ongoing divide of ideologies and due to the drastic actions the new Nation, "The Americas," Britain launched an all-out surprise attack in Israel, Egypt, and Lebanon. The attack was swift and targeted the known mines and Burkladine Gas fields. The Americas also launched their own attack to retake the land leading to the destruction of Israel and Egypt three months after the two countries fought on that land.
Israel and Egypt were officially disregarded as a nation on the 20th of May, 2063.
Canada and the majority of the former EU took part to attack the Americas fearing the threat of the new President. The President then called out all countries who were predominantly "Minorities" to take a stand with them or be killed by the superpowers.
This call led to more wars as India fought against several of its neighbors. The Southeast Asian nations who had long been at odds with Australia and the constant land-grabbing tendencies of China untied to launch a sudden attack, not approved by the UN.
The sudden emergence of more countries joining the war officially started World War 3. The UN was disbanded as nations all disagreed and started attacking and using weapons of mass destruction against each other.
End of World War 3
World War Three raged for two years. In that two-year period, countries were conquered and reclaimed and the usage of weapons of mass destruction occurred at least twice in every continent. The war left the Earth devastated. The end of the war came to its unusual halt as the leaders of the remaining nations called for a ceasefire and resolved to continue peace talks as it was determined that due to the lack of food, population and unless nations would prioritize their funding to the development of their country, their respective nations would deteriorate.
Three nations were declared to be "extinct" at the end of the Third World War.
The issues of agriculture, population, labor force, and since almost every country had areas with high radiation, humanity's extinction would come if no actions were taken.
On the 2nd of August, 2065, the World Governing Powers were formed.
The years that followed after are now known as the "Void Years." Three decades were taken off the calendar and only ended after Project Babel was officially completed.
The 1st of January, 2066 began with a celebration of "official" the re-establishment of the nations.
The only noted nations that were not re-established but was not "extinct" in terms of its citizens, was Israel.
Conclusion
The lesson we learn in this history is simply that we've never learned in our history. Nations rose after nations since the ancient era. And all mighty and powerful nations all crumbled because humans were selfish and when morality was diminishing. Egypt, who was once a superpower of the old, fell during the revolutions brought by the Hebrews. It was a moral issue.
Babylon had fallen to the Medo-Persians and Persians to the Greeks and Romans because of Morality. The atrocities that these superpowers created all soon received their just rewards as they paid their dues either to themselves or to other nations.
It was the lack of love and the value of morals which led to the first and second world wars. And the countries involved in these wars all met difficult times.
It is with these thoughts and for this reason, did the World Governing Power institute a standard for Morality.
Whether this will prove to be enough to stop another world war, is in question. The Australian Avarice is proof of man's continuing decline. The only difference is that now, we are so good at hiding it. At this rate, I am sure. War is coming. And I'll be ready. Puts glasses on and looks up to the sky.
