CH 17

He said this with his whole face buried in the nook of Qi Han’s shoulder, his soft arms resting on Qi Han’s neck. It was a little wet but more warm, and the feeling of being carefully hugged made one think of a small animal huddled under the covers with its owner on a rainy and snowy night, rubbing its furry head against its owner.

A chubby Pomeranian or a long-haired Samoyed.

“I’m sorry.” Qi Han practised many times in his heart to make his tone as calm as possible, trying his best to play the illusion in Fu Ge’s eyes.

“Have you been waiting for a long time?”

Fu Ge pursed his lips and let out a very soft “uh-huh”. “All the other Omegas were picked up by their partners, and I am the last one in the isolation room.”

He must have been thinking of the little Omega who had been picked up by his lover when his estrus ended, envious and a little aggrieved at the same time.

Obviously I was very good too, how come you’re the last to pick me up?

Qi Han’s heart was squeezed like a ball, and for a while he didn’t know how to reply to these childish words.

“There was… a traffic jam on my way, so I came late. Next time I will be very fast, I will be the first to pick up Xiao Ge.”

“…Oh, there was a traffic jam, well, that’s not something you can rush.” Fu Ge’s eyes flashed with guilt, as if he had been unreasonable just now.

Qi Han rubbed his chin against his forehead and asked, “Estrus… was it uncomfortable?”

“Uh-huh, uh-huh.” Like a child who was finally asked where it hurt, Fu Ge nodded several times in a row, his eyes flushed and moist: “It’s hard, my body is uncomfortable everywhere… and I couldn’t find you…”

Qi Han’s heart was aching to death, and he also followed Fu Ge’s childish manner: “Xiao Ge was looking for me? Where did he look for me?”

“Under the quilt, in the tooth cup, in the empty space between the rolls of paper…” Those were all the things he had sniffed, but no matter how hard he sniffed, he couldn’t find a single whiff of his Alpha.

“Can I give some pheromones for gege to smell?”

Fu Ge suddenly got out of his arms, his eyes wide open, like a bird squatting in the nest waiting for its mother to feed it.

The little bird chirped and asked, “Can I smell it?”

It was as if he subconsciously felt that this was a very difficult and luxurious thing to do.

Qi Han rubbed his fluffy bird’s head, “Yes, it was originally reserved for you.”

Fu Ge was so excited that he didn’t know what to do, “Then wait for me!”

He literally skipped to the bed like a little bird, grabbed the quilt he had just kicked down and covered the heads of the two of them.

The view instantly became dim, and before Qi Han could react, he saw Fu Ge stretching his neck to raise the quilt, letting a narrow line of light come in while bending his knees and carefully shrinking his hands and feet, curling himself up into a ball.

“I’m ready.”

Qi Han was puzzled: “What’s this for?”

Fu Ge said seriously, “The doctor said Beta usually can’t smell the pheromones of the partner. If I ball up like this, maybe the smell will be stronger and I can smell it.”

Qi Han closed his eyes tightly, eager to raise his hand to touch Fu Ge’s head, but eventually put it down stiffly and slowly released some soothing pheromones.

The light scent of white bellflower was lingering and intoxicating, released wisp upon wisp from Qi Han’s glands and wrapping Fu Ge gently under the warm cover of the blanket.

It was like being on a lawn full of bell-shaped flowers; the wind would blow and the little bells would sway, gently caressing the body.

Fu Ge couldn’t smell the pheromones, but he could feel a gentle force enveloping him like water.

He unconsciously closed his eyes and moved the tip of his nose to smell, stretching his neck forward when he inhaled and then shrinking back when he exhaled. He smelled very sweetly in small sips, like a kitten licking milk.

The little Beta was intoxicated, and the more he sniffed, the farther he stretched his neck, and finally he lunged forward and was caught by Qi Han before he could fall.

His face turned red and he hung his head like a little mushroom. Qi Han asked him, “Does it smell good?”

“Uh-huh, it’s very comfortable, like drinking hot cocoa on a snowy day.”

Qi Han pinched his cheeks and took him into his arms, “Then smell it for a while longer.”

“No, no more.” Fu Ge raised his face and said seriously, “It’s very tiring to release pheromones. I want just a little.”

Qi Han’s heart was about to melt into water. He didn’t know how to reassure him, “It’s not tiring, I’m fine, I can release it all night long.”

Fu Ge’s eyes widened in disbelief, his little nose twitching as he asked, “Really?”

Qi Han nodded seriously, but Fu Ge flattened his mouth in disappointment again and muttered in a super small voice: “But will we just smell pheromones…”

Qi Han didn’t hear clearly, “What?”

Fu Ge pursed his lips and twiddled his fingers twice more before grabbing the corner of Qi Han’s clothes and rubbing it, quietly shortening the distance between the two.

The little bird rested its fluffy head on its owner’s knee and asked carefully, “Am I not very well behaved…”

“How come, you’re very good.” There were tears sliding down from his eyes, and Qi Han turned his head and blinked, “Xiao Ge is the most well behaved, the most obedient little bird.”

The Beta in estrus seemed to like this metaphor very much. He rubbed his hot face against Qi Han’s knee shyly, “Then why don’t you kiss me?”

Even if he wasn’t quite clear-headed, he knew that he had to do something more intimate when he was in estrus.

Qi Han opened his mouth dumbly, not knowing how to answer, and stammered a little, “I, I didn’t dare, afraid that gege would be angry with me when he woke up.”

“Why would I be angry with you? I like you so much.” Fu Ge blurted out these words so easily, so sincerely, as if he didn’t need to think at all.

Qi Han felt more and more weightless as he lifted the quilt, wrapped his arms around Fu Ge’s waist and pressed him to the bed a little, moving so gently as if he was handling a fragile dried flower.

“Then I’ll be gentle, and gege will forget about all this when he wakes up, okay?”

Fu Ge was already too dazed to hear his words, and only nodded uncontrollably, impatient to undo his clothes, so much so that even his fingers were shaking with anticipation.

When the first kiss landed, both of them couldn’t help but feel their hearts stutter.

A tingling current flowed from Qi Han’s lips to Fu Ge’s cheeks, behind his ears, the tip of his nose and finally his mouth.

The Alpha was just like when he kissed for the first time at the age of seventeen. He first rubbed Fu Ge’s lips with his lips, and then slowly pressed into the gap between them. When Fu Ge opened his mouth obediently, Qi Han’s tongue immediately drove straight in, rubbing every inch of soft flesh inside, and then withdrawing to suck and nibble on Fu Ge’s lips.

The little wet sounds exploded in his ears, and Fu Ge groaned softly as his lips were suddenly caught and sucked vigorously, and he kicked his legs in impatience.

“Ugh!…”

Qi Han immediately let go of him and closed his eyes to ease the throbbing, “What’s wrong? Did I hurt you? Where is it uncomfortable? It’s okay, no more kisses if you’re not comfortable.”

Fu Ge suddenly turned around in a daze, blinking his tear-filled eyes for a few seconds before he said, aggrieved, “My toe kicked the bed, it hurts…”

Qi Han laughed, took his foot in his hands and rubbed it, then kissed the side of Fu Ge’s face, his warm lips moving along the skin behind his ear to his neck as he slowly pulled his pyjamas down his shoulders.

The young Beta shivered sensitively again and wanted to moan but held back, afraid that if he reacted too much he wouldn’t be allowed to kiss.

Qi Han coaxed him, “Don’t be afraid, I’ll kiss your shoulders, you like that.”

The neck and shoulders were Fu Ge’s sensitive spots; he used to love being kissed and stroked in these places. If Qi Han caught him off guard and bit through the skin to pour a little pheromone in, the young Beta would immediately shudder and cry out.

The most beautiful first love, even the body’s reaction was innocent.

He kissed and pulled Fu Ge upright, his lips moving down little by little, taking care of every spot that would make Fu Ge comfortable, and when he reached his chest, he recalled those naughty tricks he used to tease Fu Ge long ago, “So hard, I’m scared it’ll poke me.”

Fu Ge opened his moist eyes and glanced at the wet place. He didn’t dare to speak but he really had to defend himself, “How can it poke you, it’s obviously round… and it’s also made like this by you…”

Qi Han, somewhat oblivious, took him into his arms and rubbed him gently from behind.

Hot kisses fell on the back of Fu Ge’s neck and left shoulder. Fu Ge held onto his arm and shivered, not daring to resist, humming and gasping, tilting his neck and seeking Qi Han’s lips again.

Qi Han couldn’t bear it anymore, and his mouth was no longer scrupulous, “Who made it like this, Mr. Bear Cub or me? Gege loves Mr. Bear Cub so much, can you also share some love with—”

The words stopped abruptly in sight of Fu Ge’s clear eyes as the young Beta looked at him with a wooden face, “Why do you know about Mr. Bear Cub? I never said anything.”

There was an almost explosive roar in his head, and Qi Han’s whole body seemed to have fallen into an ice cellar.

He stiffened and didn’t dare to move, watching as Fu Ge reached out his hand to touch his face.

Half a second later, Fu Ge said in a cold voice, “You’re not an illusion.”
