Dave was shocked to see a beautiful mermaid here. In his previous life, there were many shows on TV about mermaids. They said that mermaids were all beautiful and alluring. Their voice can soothe your feelings and emotions.
Dave looked at her and was curious why she was there. She was beautiful even when she was crying. She didn't have a foot, but she had her mermaid tail.

Belle was stunned as she never expected that someone came here other than that old turtle. She looked at him and was stunned to see how handsome he is. In her clan, there are many handsome men but none of them can compare to him, and he had the aura that can make any woman fall for him.
Even so, she looked at him warily and asked, "Who are you? Are you that bastard turtle subordinate?"
Dave knew that she was imprisoned here and replied, "I am not their subordinates, and you can see that I am a human"
"I just here to steal this tree because that turtle already left"
Belle was stunned and didn't expect that someone had the guts to steal this tree. She looked at him and saw that he was not lying. The Mermaid clan had the skill to decipher whether anyone is lying or stating the truth.
Dave asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"
Belle introduced herself.
"I am Belle and the only princess of the mermaid clan. When I was a kid, I liked to play outside everywhere in our Mermaid empire. We mermaids can be classified as a Royal Sea race as we rule many parts of the sea. One day, an old turtle was recruited by my auntie and said that he would be my bodyguard for now but when we went outside, he abducted me and brought me to his turtle kingdom. My family didn't know where I was and thought that I died together with the turtle bodyguard."
She paused and continued, "When I woke up, I realized that I was abducted by the turtle and plotted by my aunt for her daughter to be in the next line in the ruling. I didn't have any siblings so they were sure that I would be the next queen."
"The old turtle abducted me to get a mermaid tear from me to fasten the ripening time of the holy tree. I can only produce 1 drop of tears every 10 years and he imprisoned me here for many years"
"The strength of the turtle clan is stronger than the monkey clan now, but the 1st turtle king didn't tell this to anyone as he was secretly accumulating powerful subordinates in the shadows. Now that they are at war, I guess that they are now planning to kill the monkey clan for good."
Even though she was locked here, the turtle was telling her some story about what happened here as they were the only ones there. The turtle bastard didn't dare to take advantage of her because he knew that the mermaid princess would kill herself as the purity of a mermaid is important to them.
They can only lose it if they get married, and it was a tradition to them. They can't get married until they reach 200 years old.
Dave was amused at how cunning the turtle king is and sighs as the monkey clan will suffer their demise. He looked at her and said, "I can take you out of here, but what can I get from it?"
He was not a saint so he will not do things without him benefitting from them. Belle knew that he couldn't help her without exchanging something. She didn't have anything right now as she was imprisoned here for a long.
"I don't have anything in me"
She sighs as she was pitiful as she was locked here for so long. Dave smirked and replied, "I can take you out of here if you become my wife. What do you think?"
Belle was stunned by his words and looked at him with a wary look. She knew that she was a beauty, and many were lusting for her, but she didn't have a choice right now as she wanted to leave this place.
Dave saw her expression and said, "Don't worry, I never mistreat my women and I can unlock your hidden bloodline"
"I will also help you to go to your clan"
Belle has a trusting issue as she has been fooled by her aunt when she was a child, but she had a feeling that this handsome man in front of him will not hurt her.
Belle nodded and she said, "Please take care of me"
Dave smiled and it was the power of being handsome. In reality, if an ugly man proposes to help you willingly, the woman will reject it as they will think that he was a criminal who had a bad intention. Meanwhile, if a handsome man helps you but with a condition, they will agree without a doubt as they would not lose anything to it and the handsome man looks more reliable.
