Chapter 148- Discovery
Dave greeted everyone here and they were smiling at him. Dave knew that they were only smiling for formality and to gain his favor. He didn't care about them as he was only here for the technique, and he is only interacting with them with respect to Elizabeth.
They ate and drank some wine while they were complimenting Dave and even introduced young females to him. He can see they are beautiful, but he didn't see some beauty who had the looks that can be on par with his girlfriends.
The emperor really prepared everything, and he is trying to give him the best service their empire had.

After 2 hours of spending his time on the feast, Elizabeth decided to bring him to their Hall of Techniques. Many were following from behind and they wanted to see what would happen and it also included the emperors and some nobles.
In just 5 minutes, Dave saw huge stone walls and he saw many sword scars on them. There are many names and descriptions on it, and he is amazed to see how beautiful this place was. He can see many teens swinging their swords outside the Hall of technique.
"They are the students of my White Tiger Empire, but they can only practice in the outer place. The precious and the strongest technique belongs to the inner of this place."
"Only someone who did great merit, or the next guardian can enter it. Many wanted to enter it but no one had the qualifications except me for many years."
Elizabeth explained and Dave nodded.
As they were walking, the students stopped what they were doing and greeted them. The female students looked at Dave with shining eyes while the other students were confused about who he was.
A female student suddenly asked, "Guardian, who is he?"
Elizabeth smiled as she answered, "He is the one who will enter the inner place of the Hall of Technique"
Elizabeth leads him inside and everyone stops in their tracks as they cannot enter the area as it would disrespect their ancestors. They cannot enter so they only sigh as they continue what they are doing. On the other hand, the emperor and the nobles stay outside to wait for what would happen.
The empress looked at her husband and asked, "Do you think he is also a godly sword genius like Aurora?"
The emperor shakes his head as he replied, "I don't know but he is the offspring of both strong and talented individuals so he must inherit some of their talents"
"It's a pity that Aurora died from giving birth to him and it leads Aurora's clan to separate themselves from empires affair"
He sighs as he remembers that Aurora is one of their pillars back in the day and she is also their connection to the Dragon Empire. No one knew how a strong person died from giving birth but there is an occurrence that happened on that day she died but only her husband, Lucas knew it.

Dave was led by Elizabeth to the inner part of the Hall of technique. He saw that no one is guarding here as they are confident that no one would have the guts to enter here without the permission of the guardian.
Dave can see this place has many sword marks that are carved in a huge stone and there are tombstones behind every technique.
Elizabeth said, "This place is not just a place where the techniques of ancestors can be located as it also the place where they were buried"
Dave nodded and he felt strong energy from the sword marks on the stones. He can feel how strong the technique they left here is. He scanned all of them but he suddenly felt a tombstone that attracted him very much.
He saw a stone with sword marks and its aura is different from others as the aura of this technique is smooth and calming. He didn't see a tombstone there but there is a name placed near it.
"Aurora Starlight-Alexander"
He read the name as he was stunned. He asked his father what his mother's name was and he only said that her name is Aurora, but he didn't say her full name.
Elizabeth saw his movements as she smiled and said, "It's your mother sword legacy and no one comprehended it even me, I find it hard to comprehend even 1% of it"
"You know? I idolized her back in the days even though she was younger than me and since she was 1 year old, she already learned to use swords."
"She is freely controlling swords and she can create and copy sword techniques easily. She was hailed as the "Sword Goddess", and many feared her as she only kills her opponent in a slash"
"She created many sword techniques and teaches many disciples, but she left a sword technique here which is her strongest technique after she gets pregnant in you"
"She said that only the fated person can comprehend it and it was the last time I saw her"

"She is even more godly than Lucas. I didn't know why Lucas didn't want me to tell you more, but he said that you are the only one who needs to discover it."
Dave was stunned by her revelation, and he felt that even for him, it is impossible to cross levels like that. He sighs as he felt pity that his mother died before he met her. He didn't even know what she looked like, but his father said that she is the most beautiful woman he met and most of Dave's looks come from his mother.
Elizabeth patted his shoulder as she said, "I will leave you here, good luck and get ready to owe me a favor"
She disappears from the place as she didn't want to disturb him. Dave smiled as he mumbled, "Well it's time to work again"
