Chapter 218-Origin
In the room, Emperor Dunce looks at his daughter who is clinging tightly to Dave like a koala.
Emperor Dunce felt uncomfortable seeing his lovely daughter now in another man's hands, but he was happy when Dave told him that he finally removed the curse of Mary and can now live a normal life.
He felt that choosing Dave for his daughter was the best choice he made in his life.
Dave had the power, and status and based on some rumors, he is caring about his women.
Mary already knew about Dave's other companions but didn't care as long as she was with Dave.
Dave plans to introduce her to Lina and his other women later but he must first look for the origin of her curse.

"So you want to know about the origin of Mary's curse?"
Emperor Dunce looks at Dave whose face is calm as ever.
"Yes"
Dave nodded, then he looked at Mary beside him.
Emperor Dunce looked at Mary and sighs as he replies, "I seriously don't want to talk about it but looks like I cannot hide it anymore."
The emperor paused, then continued, "Actually, Mary, I am not your real father."
"What?"
Mary was shocked and replied, "Father! You are not joking right?"
Emperor Dunce replied, "I am not joking."
"Are you not questioning why I don't have any wife or empress until now?"
"Are you not curious why I don't have any other child other than you?"
Dave was stunned by the revelation of Dunce but he only silently listened.
Mary's eyes started to moist, but Dave comforted her and told her to listen to his father's story first.
After seeing Mary has finally calmed down, Emperor Dunce continues.
"I am the only child of the previous emperor of the empire"
"Since birth, I have focused on making myself stronger, so I don't have time to look for someone to love."
"But when my father died, he left a message for me and passed the throne to me and wanted me to have a child so that their blood will continue."

Mary's origin is not from the mortal world but to the higher plane and to be hunted like that means that she has a special thing in her or special status.
He read some novels like that, and he started to get curious.
He decided to give time for the father and daughter to have their moment, so he disappeared into the room and appeared in a certain place.
This place is like a sanctuary but a huge mirror on the wall has an elegant and majestic design.
He was curious why his Treasure Guide is pointing towards the mirror, but he was sure that there is a huge opportunity here.
"So you are finally here"
Dave was thinking about what to do next when he heard a voice behind him.
He looked behind him and saw a 20-meter bird whose body was covered with flames.
The bird's aura is strong but it's not enough to pressure Dave.
"A phoenix huh?"
Dave mumbled and the bird replied, "My name is Flamigo and the Spirit Guardian of the Phoenix Empire"
Dave already guessed it as there is only one Spirit Guardian in every empire.
"Nice to meet you Flamigo"
Dave said and the phoenix nodded to him.
"I saw your deeds in the empire and I was thankful for your help"
"If you did not defeat those bastards, I guess that catastrophe might come"
Flamigo said and it caught Dave's attention.
"What catastrophe?"
Flamigo replied, "The mirror in front of you is called Devil's Mirror"
"That mirror was hidden beneath the empire castle and was sealed by me and the old fart guardian."
"That mirror is mysteriously founded by the first emperor of the phoenix empire when he was traveling but it brought bad luck to him and he said that he is hearing screams every night from the mirror"
"He cannot dump it everywhere as he felt that someone will suffer if he does so"
"So we decided to suppress it and luckily it stopped spreading bad luck and the noises also stopped"
