Chapter 227-Green Luck
Dave locked them up as it was a pity to let an opportunity take them under his control and they can be useful for his army to get stronger.
After he took them all inside his domain, he looked at the stunned Dragic who still could not process what had just happened.
He could not understand how Dave cut the chain easily and how he appeared here without him knowing. He believed that no one in this world is stronger than him.
"Who are you?"
He suddenly became alert as he knew that he is not an easy opponent. He was wary of him and ready to use his full strength if he decided to attack.
Dave didn't answer him immediately as he was scanning the chains and the sanctuary that is in front of him. He can feel that the creature inside the sanctuary is angry at him and the chains are continuing to attack him but his sword is acting on its own and slashing it endlessly.
It is the advantage of the treasure he got so that he didn't need to act personally, and it will make him look cool and possibly gain sin points.
Suddenly, he heard a voice calling him.
"Human, help me escape here and I will give you the power to conquer this world"
Dave looked at the source of the voice and realized that it was coming from the sanctuary where the Taotie was sealed.
Seeing Dave was not answering him, he was angered and shouted. "You little bitch!"
He roared and pounced on him.
Dave saw that Dragic attacked him, so he sneered and slapped him easily because his movements are like slow-motion in his eyes.
Boom!
Dragic was stunned as he believed that his speed was superior, but Dave squatted him like a fly.
"Silent little Lizard, I am still thinking."
Dave said and Dragic's face was red in anger. He, the mighty Dragon Leader who ruled for many years, was being disrespected by a teen.
He can see that Dave is not even a hundred years old, yet he is already this powerful.
Even so, he still had his trump card and he believed that if he faced danger, he could escape anytime.
Dave continued to look at the sanctuary and he felt that his soul was being sucked. Luckily, his mental strength is powerful, and he cannot be easily swayed by the temptation that the creature is offering him to work for him.
After thinking for a while, he then looked at Dragic and realized that he still had the mission from the system to help Gargantor to have his revenge.
He then clapped his hands and Ronin appeared in front of him.
Ronin bowed to him and asked, "What can I do for you, my lord."
He now mastered mannerism and the way of being a butler. He usually lets him do anything he wants but Ronin likes to stay in his shadows and wait for his commands.
Ronin never failed to do all the things he commanded of him, so he appreciated his existence.
He commanded Ronin to restrain the powers of Dragic to the same level as Gargantor.
Ronin told him that he had special skills from his bloodline that could restrict the level of the enemy and weaken their cultivation for a certain time.
He then called Gargantor and let him face Dragic head-on. He believed that if he cannot defeat him, he is not suited to be called as a protagonist of this world.
Gargantor was amazed and he didn't expect Dave to easily restrain Dragic to this point. Dragic was angered but he realized that the other party was stronger than him and he had a terrifying subordinate who could restrain him.
He never saw someone with such thick killing intent, so he was afraid of Ronin.
"If you can defeat him, you can live but if not, then it's your fate to die."
Ronin said and it gave Dragic a slight chance to live. All he needs to do is to kill Gargantor and he can live.
Gargantor looks at Dragic and his eyes are full of fury when he remembers how he lived to be parentless and how he watched some of his people die because of hunger and sickness.
Dragic looked at Gargantor and said, "So you are a traitor, why do you betray me?"
He is confident to beat him, so he calms himself. He is only a Saint Emperor and even though his strength was restrained to the same level as him, he still had an advantage because of his experience.
Gargantor gritted his teeth and said, "I will take revenge for my mother and father whom you killed back then."
Dragic was stunned and then he looked carefully at his face and realized something.
"So you are the child of those shits who hear my plan?"
He now understands why he wants to kill him, so he doesn't talk too much and attacks him.
He never expected that one of his commanders would be the person he was looking back then. Because he is always busy, he never had time to meet all of his officials.
He punches him but Gargantor easily dodges.
"What?"
Dragic was stunned as he didn't expect him to have some skills.
They exchange blows constantly and Dragic had an edge over him and Gargantor's body is now full of injuries, but he had a firm look on his face that made Dave admire him more.
Even though he is at a disadvantage, he didn't back down and he continues to clash against him.
2 hours later, Dragic's body is now starting to get tired while Gargantor who is full of injury and bleeding all over his body suddenly reveals a light, and his injuries suddenly healed.
"I broke through hahaha"
Gargantor laughed as if it was his plan all along. He used Dragic to be his sharpening stone as he was on the verge of breaking through Immortal.
"What?"
Dragic's face was black and he now realized that he was being fooled by him.
"So what if you break through? I can still defeat you!"
He punched him, but Gargantor smirked and said, "I am done with you, it's time for you to die"
He secretly activates the special skill that his father passed to him when he was a child.
"Tyrant Dragon Fist"
He punched him and Dragic was scared because he realized that Gargantor's power is not restrained to Saint Emperor again unlike him.
"It's unfair!"
He shouted but it was too late as Gargantor's fist hit his body and he exploded like a meatball.
Boom!
He died brutally and Gargantor finally sighs in relief as he sits on the ground.
Dave who is suppressing the seal while watching the battle nodded in approval as he is really a protagonist-like character.

Dave was happy that he again collected Divine Energy, he can't use them right now but they are important in the future so he stored them in his storage space for now.
He also saw a new status in his status panel when he obtained a Protagonist halo.
