Chapter 232-Subduing the Mythical Beast Clan Leaders
After resting for 3 days, he decided to open the system to see the rewards.
[Welcome back host, the rewards have been already sent to the storage space]
He looked at his storage and saw a book, so he took it.
"Tyrannical Devouring Technique"
He read the description, and it said that this technique can devour the energy of any living being and make them their own. He was amazed by the technique because it means that, if he absorbs or devours anything, he can get stronger easily.
He just wanted to learn it, but the system said that he cannot learn it for now unless he got the Primordial Sin of Gluttony.
He felt pity about it but he decided to look for the last reward. He saw a huge Grey egg and scanned it using his Ancestral Eyes.
He learned that it was a Taotie inside the egg. He laughed in surprise as he didn't expect to get another mythical beast. He tried to hatch it but it wouldn't work. The system said that it will hatch when the host's strength is enough to feed it with his energy.
Dave was stunned because his energy was not enough to satiate the hunger of the egg. After cursing the system for giving him a reward that he cannot use now, he then releases the Beast's Clan leaders inside his domain.
Every one of them had already recovered their energy but when they saw Dave, they didn't dare to do anything funny because they saw his strength. They also see the floating sword on top of him, so they are scared.
Dave scanned them one by one. All of them are Immortals at the Top-tier and even Peak-tier.
"Hello everyone, my name is Dave and as you all know, I defeated the Taotie."
He smiled at them, but everyone felt that his smile was evil.
They felt a chill in their heart as if something bad was going to happen.
On the other hand, the female Clan leaders are attracted to his face, so they blushed in shame.
"All of you are my captive and don't try to do anything funny because my hand may slip and kill you in an accident."
He said it with a straight face as if their life didn't matter to him. The beasts' rulers are cursing him in their minds and feel that he is shameless.
"I will give you all a chance, serve me and you can continue leading your clan and I will not interfere with your affairs."
"But you must come to me if I need your help."
Suddenly, the leader of the Phoenix Clan gets his courage and asks him, "If we disagree?"
Dave smiled at him and replied, "You will meet a tragedy."
Everyone's face turns black as they didn't expect him to be shameless. He acted like he was giving them an opportunity, but he had already decided to make them all his pawns. They were sure that he would kill those who disagree.
That is the rule of the world. The strong will always win as it is survival of the fittest. They are the rulers of the Beast's world and they stood at the top of the mortal plane, yet they were being forced to be a slave of a young human.
Human power is strong, so they didn't have a choice but to obey. Every one of them kneels in front of him as they know that it is the only way for them to survive. If they meet their demise, their clan may be in danger and chaos will happen in the Beast's World.
"Master"
The leader of the Phoenix Clan first acknowledges him as his master and a mark appears on his forehead. The mark means that he cannot betray him or think about bad things about him, or he will die. That is the disadvantage of the beast race. Even if they had an advantage in physique, their souls are weaker and if they acknowledge someone as master, they cannot disobey them or else they will die.
The others also acknowledge him as master and Dave was satisfied with it. He commanded them to go back to their clans and give him treasures. No one had a complaint because they can also consider him as their hero because he saved their world from the scheme of Dragic.
Dave waved his hands and every one of them appeared in the beast's world. He released everyone and told them to go back and prepare the treasures.
Everyone left except for the leader of the Fenrir clan. Dave told him to stay as he still had some matters to ask for him.
The leader of the Fenrir Clan is named Fredo. He had white hair, and his face is intimidating if not for the fact that he looks tired right now.
"What may I help you master?"
Fredo was nervous in front of a killing maniac like Dave but he remains his composure because he already acknowledges him as his master.
Dave didn't say a thing, but he waved his hands and Blizzard appeared in front of him. Blizzard was taken aback and she was holding an apple and eating happily but she suddenly appeared in front of Dave.
She looks at him with a confused look. Dave ignored her and asked Fredo.
"Do you recognize her?"
Fredo was shocked when he felt that the girl in front of him had a bloodline like him and he even wanted to worship him. He feels that her bloodline is purer than anyone he saw in his entire life. He was shocked but he answered him.
"No, I didn't know her"
He answered but Dave commanded Blizzard to transform in her beast form.
Blizzard nodded and a 7-meter Fenrir appeared in front of Dave and Fredo and her white fur was waving.
"What?"
Fredo was again shocked and realized something.
"So you are alive"
He shouted happily and realized that he lost his composure.
He then looks at Dave and realizes that maybe Dave helped her and now she was considered as his pet.
Fredo explained that Blizzard is a variable in their clan. When she was born, her skin was different from others. The Fenrir clans have a fur of grayish white, but she was different. Her fur is all white and some felt that she is bad luck to their clan.
They wanted to kill her because white fur is a bad omen to them but her parents used their life to let her escape and transported her to other places.
Fredo was in seclusion back then when it happened but when he comes out and learns about her, he was enraged and killed everyone who participated in hunting her.
Fredo is the oldest in the clan and he knew the significance of having an all-white fur. It means that her bloodline is special and can possibly surpass immortality.
He regrets that he didn't know this early and felt sad that they lost a treasure like him. Dave was stunned and he can see that he is not lying. He cannot lie to him as he is now his slave.
He looks at Blizzard who still doesn't know what is happening.
Dave then looks at Fredo again and says, "Since those who tried to kill her are already dead, there's no point in pursuing this matter."
"You can now go back and bring the treasures."
Fredo nodded, then looked at Blizzard again and felt relieved that since Blizzard is one of his master's pets, he was sure that he would not be cruel to them and make them suffer.
