Chapter 257-Preparation
The next morning, Dave was summoned by Hemire and went to the hall. Dave took a bath and got some nice clothes and went outside. When he reached the hall, he saw Hemire near the middle-aged man and his life force is weak right now.
Dave stood tall and composed as he entered the grand hall of the Nari Clan, its walls adorned with ancient tapestries and intricate symbols of power. The air crackled with anticipation and curiosity as the members of the clan turned their gaze toward him. At the head of the hall, seated upon an ornate throne, was none other than the esteemed Father of Hemire, Herry, the leader of the Nari Clan.
With a regal presence and an air of authority, Father Nari studied Dave with keen eyes. His features held the wisdom of age, his silver hair cascading down his back, and his piercing blue eyes betraying the depth of his knowledge and experience.
Dave is sure that Herry is an Imperial King level individual but he sensed that his life force is weak right now.
Dave approached, his steps steady and confident. As he drew nearer, he couldn't help but notice the three individuals standing beside Father Nari. Their presence exuded brilliance and power, a testament to their exceptional talents and the weight they carried within the clan.
To Dave's left stood a young woman with an ethereal beauty. Her eyes shimmered like sapphires, radiating a profound intellect and determination. She is a 24 year old woman and her name was Ariana, ang known for her mastery of arcane arts and unrivaled talent in manipulating elemental forces.
To his right stood a young man of striking stature, his muscles honed through rigorous training. His name was Kieran, 25 years old, and renowned for his unparalleled skill with weapons and his unparalleled strength on the battlefield. The scars that adorned his body told tales of countless victories and trials overcome.
In front of them stood a figure draped in a flowing cloak, their features concealed beneath the shadows. Known only as Shade and the same age as Kieran, his enigmatic presence sent a shiver down to those who are near him.
Father Nari's voice resonated through the hall, his tone measured and authoritative. "Welcome, everyone, to the heart of the Nari Clan. We have summoned you here for a purpose, for we have recognized your exceptional potential and unrivaled strength in your young age."
"I want you all to help my daughter win the legacy left by an Imperial Emperor in the tomb and I would give you a lot of benefits if you succeeded in the mission."
"Her health is very important so if something happens to her, even if you survive, expect that I will hunt you all."
Dave met Father Nari's gaze and Herry was stunned when he saw the reaction of Dave. Dave looks like he didn't hear anything that is very different from the 3 other helpers his daughter found. They are a bit afraid and nervous when he threatens them, but Dave is unmoved.
He nodded and felt that this young man had a future, but his face was disfigured. He decided to ask some healer to heal his face after the mission.
The 3 other helpers swore to protect Hamire and said that they will do their best.
A hint of a smile played on Father Nari's lips as he nodded approvingly. "Good. We are in dire need of your expertise and unwavering resolve. The Nari Clan faces challenges that require the united strength of our most gifted individuals."
Dave's gaze shifted to Ariana, Kieran, and Shade, he can feel that they disdained him because he is only showing a level of Golden Body Immortal because he is concealing his true strength. The three of them are already at the peak of Imperial Immortal.
"I see that the Nari Clan has already discovered extraordinary talents within its ranks. Together, we shall face whatever challenges lie ahead."
Father Nari's voice grew solemn as he addressed the gathering. "The time has come for the Nari Clan to forge its destiny and overcome the trials that await us. There may be danger and the enemies are lurking in the shadows so all of you must be careful. The Tomb only lets the Imperial Immortal Below inside so do not be worried about strong people entering."
As the words echoed through the hall, everyone was solemn, but no one dared to make a sound.
"Now, the grand elder will lead you 5 to the tomb"
Suddenly, an old man excluding an aura on par with Herry and even stronger appeared.
"Grand elder, please send them carefully"
Herry said and the grand elder nodded. "Don't worry little Herry, I will send them safely to the destination."
Herry was embarrassed but it's okay for the grand elder to call him little because he is the one who raised and trained him.
The grand elder summoned a massive bird outside and told everyone to hop behind it. Dave was amazed to see that the bird is strong but tamed by the elder.
Everyone hops on top of the bird and the Grand Elder commands the bird to start flying.

The bird flaps its wings and soars in the sky.

Hemire explained to Dave that the other 3 helpers are also an ascendant, but they are hired by Hemire and promised that they can gain foothold in her clan if they help her. She personally chose ascendant because she knew that they were once at the top of the Mortal World and they worked hard to reach this level even though their spiritual energy is weak.
Dave learned that Ariana comes from the mage world in the mortal plane while Kieran is from the barbarian world. Shade on the other hand didn't intend to reveal more about him.
They also asked Dave what world he originated from but he didn't answer them and just took some books he brought to the market yesterday. He brought it from a mysterious person, and he said that the book has a lot of information.
