Chapter 58 Kalaini Is Back, Haya's Little Harem

Haya froze in terror as his eyeballs were drawn together, "where did she go?" His face turned pale leaving the cold sweat on his skin dry slower.

"Haya..." Lucas opened his mouth a bit.

"If Xina will do something to him we have to save him." He dropped the bag in his hands and began to rush out the door.

Lucas not clearly understanding the situation got up and ran to Kali, "Kali! Kali!" He shook her shoulders, "wake up!" He shouted, "we need to go!"

Kali forced to open her eyelids and seeing blurry Luca's face furrowed her eyebrows, "what's going on?" She asked him.

"Something happened, we need to follow Haya."

"Wait, what?" She scratched her eyes.

Another confusing moment for her was her 'why is he acting like this?'

"Screw it, stay here, Kali! Don't move!" A quick realisation went through Lucas's mind that 'what if Kali gets in danger?' He released her shoulders again and seeing the opened door rushed to Haya.

'He should be here somewhere, what the fuck is going on?' The heavy air filled his lungs, so breathing became harder for him.

Izek's voice appeared out of nowhere.

"No offence, but I really don't care what you have to say," Lucas replied out loud while his eyes were wandering around, searching for Haya.

'He couldn't go so far, where is he?' He shook his head to the sides, trying to catch him with his eyes.

He didn't have much knowledge of what was happening and how he could find Haya faster, but one thing was known - something was wrong.

He pushed his legs forward and forced his body to move faster. His feet desperately attempted to create a form of traction.

The falling snow was making it harder for him to see, blocking the front view and blinding his eyes with the brightness of the sun and snowflakes, Lucas shut his eyes tight in fear of falling.

'This won't do, I need to open my eyes,' face forward he began to sprint faster.

Lucas felt his whole body working; his leg muscles running warm, fresh air entered his lungs and blood flowed into all his limbs.

His boots pounded heavily across the ground causing mud to slash up his legs, 'where are you?' He darted past people, buildings and small streets.

Lucas wanted to save his breath and air decided to ignore his question and didn't bother to answer it.

-Hey, brat, I told you to relax.- Izek repeated himself.

With every word he spoke louder, making Lucas think that he was running out of patience too.

'I will ignore you, I will ignore you...' Lucas squeezed his eyes.

-Turn left, and ask the system to show you your teammate's location, idiot.-

"My teammate's location? Can it do that?" Lucas stopped running.

Izek's tone sounded tired.

"Maybe..." Lucas placed his hands on his knees and leaned down, trying to breathe in more air, he called the system "hey, system!"

'This damned system...' Lucas let a long sigh out, "thanks, Izek." He nodded his head and started to follow the route the system informed him of.

"Lucas?" A familiar voice spoke from behind.

Lucas immediately turned back and saw a curly blue hair lady leaning next to the wall. Her big breasts were standing out first in his eyes, as his main focus, Ka-Kalaini?" He recognised her from them.

"Eyes up!" Her strict voice vibrated through his body like a threat, he lifted his eyes and looked at her bitten plum lips instead.

"Wha-what are you doing here?" He fully turned back to her as he shook his head.

"I'm here to join the team, the system summoned me, idiot, why else?" She crossed her arms.

"The system? Now it's getting weird again..." He scratched his head and then remembered that Haya is not far, 'he probably found Xina and the boy!' He blinked his eyes, "Kalaini, will talk to you later, I have to go!" He shouted and started running again.

"Sigh... What a kid..." Kalaini released her arms and followed Lucas.

When he was near the forest, he finally saw Haya standing in front of him, the boy was in her hands and she was holding a sparrow next to his neck.

Haya's hands were slightly lifted in the air as if he was telling her to calm down. His moves were slow and softly stepping towards her, he was murmuring something.

"Haya!" Lucas shouted to get his attention, then placed one of his hands on his waist to help him breathe.

All three turned to Lucas, even the boy whose eyes were filled with water running down his red cheeks. The nose was sniffing, that boy looked like he went through a lot.

"Lucas? What are you doing here?" Haya's tone sounded surprised as he opened his mouth.

"I followed you, of course..." Lucas inhaled.

"Look, this is not a good time right now," Haya lifted the corners of his lips, having a sarcastic smirk on his face.

'What do yo...' He looked at Xina's expression, her nostrils were flaring as the wrinkles on her head were flowing like water waves, 'why is she so angry, and why doesn't she release the boy?' A thought went through his lost mind.

This situation was unclear to him, and he didn't understand what exactly was going on, but by judging their actions, Lucas understood that Xina was trying to hurt this boy whom he saved from the cold before.

"Xina..." Lucas's eyes and jaw dropped when he saw Kalaini strangling her from behind.

Xina released the boy and focused on the yellow rope that was placed on her neck. Kalaini then jumped onto her back, holding herself like a monkey, she tightened the rope even more.

After a few seconds, Xina's face turned blue.

Not being able to breathe properly, she let go of the rope and fell down on her knees, seconds later she fell on the ground.

"Whew, she's getting stronger every time..." Kalaini stretched her neck and tightened her fist.

"Kalaini?" Haya leaned back when he saw her.

"You two know each other?" Lucas gasped.

"Yes, we do... Kalaini is my ex..."
