Chapter 1534 Clash

Chapter 1534 Clash　　The sonic cat looked at the white energy balls in the sky. 

It has noticed them from far away, while it is on the way to the city. But now that it looked closely, all the confusion and frustration on why Sam called it here is gone.

"Gail is supposed to stop the by destroying the core of the formation that is supporting their souls, but he is being delayed. So, I want your help in dealing it."

"*MEEEEOW*"

Sam just shrugged at its cry and just moved away. He knew that the Sonic cat wouldn't just sit idly on the side. His problem, at least the most part of it is definitely solved.

All of the powerhouses got ready to tackle it.

As they are all thinking, all of a sudden, one of the energy balls in the sky moved. In fact it is a bit understatement to call it an energy ball as it is full of souls within. It zoomed to the clan grounds like a meteor.

Its target happened to be Gamin who is standing there with his sword out.

He smirked as soon as he saw that he is the first target. He gripped his sword tighter and all of the energy in the surroundings suddenly riled up. It all gathered into his hands and then into his sword.

*CRACK*

The ball touched the crystal dome and the dome started cracking bit by bit. Gamin leapt into the air and swung his sword. It connected with the energy ball and…

*BOOM*

A massive explosion of energy happened. The souls that are gathered together started disappearing as they got separated.

The energy explosion caused the crystal dome formation to crack all over the place and Gamin who was in the air to cut the thing down, crashed down into the ground with a loud thud.

He felt his mind go blur as if something had invaded his head while he spat out a mouthful of blood. His arm is shaking and things are blurred. The impact of the energy is so much that even him, a person at the peak of the power in the realms is feeling the shaking.

He stood up with difficulty as he held the sword and looked at the sky.

His mind cleared a bit. Some of the souls that are dispersed from the large explosion are trying to surround him and occupy his head, but they are dead as soon as he focused on his mental energy and even his whole situation got a little better.

At this moment, back in the camp Sivan is shaking in excitement.

He used a telescope to see what happened. He clearly couldn't see what  Gamin has gone through in that short span of time. But he sure saw the sword and the ball clashing. Even though the ball lost from the exchange the whole city's crystal dome is also very damaged.

He wanted to see something like this and he is very happy that it happened now.

He is also glad that he took the advice of Avlyn and didn't disturb Cray.

He turned to look at Cray with enthusiasm to see what he is doing.

Cray has a big frown on his face and he looked like he is carrying the weight of a mountain. The veins on his forehead bulged and almost looked like they are ready to pop.

With great difficulty, he made some hand gestures that made another ball move.

Gamin who is standing there looked at him and jumped into the sky again with the sword. As his sword clashed with the ball, all of a sudden, he felt like the burden on his has lessened a lot.

He turned to the side as Saran came into assist him.

Both of them landed the blow at the same time and with just the initial impact half of the souls were dispersed but the other half obviously blew up and the two of them hit the ground once again.

The dome started cracking more and more. Its recovery no matter how amplified it is, is not working as they wanted. They cannot just recover the dome no matter how hard they tried.

Yuvana is also holding her weapon as she looked at the remaining ten balls.

She looked at Gamin and got ready to deal with the next one.

Gamin looked at her with a smile that is covered with blood.

He is not severely injured, but it is also hard for them to escape unscathed at such a large amount of energy gathering.

Back in the camp, Cray opened his eyes all of a sudden and cursed under his breath.

"What happened? Is something wrong?"

Sivan asked anxiously.

"They are countering the attacks. I want the attack to completely metamorphosise, but they are cutting down in the middle. I need to find a way to send the attack before they could destroy it."

"How about you land multiple attacks at the same time?"

"That is my plan as well, but the burden on my body and mind will be too much. I am trying to figure out a way.

Did Avlyn and others really go after Gail?"

"Yeah, they went. I highly doubt they will be able to do something though."

"Of course they wouldn't be able to. Gail's reputation is not just there for a show or joke. I really wish he was within the city. If we couldn't use this to deal with them, I couldn't see a method to really cause him any damage that could help us defeat him."

"Who knows? Your team is very confident in themselves."

"That doesn't say anything other than them being delusional."

As he was thinking all of a sudden, he noticed something in the formation.

A dot in the middle of the city.

"Did Gail really leave the city?"

He asked in surprise.

"Yes, why?"

Sivan also asked and looked at the formation. A frown appeared on his face too. The dot is big indicating that its power is definitely of higher level.

In fact it is way too big for them and they are actually a bit scared.

The problem is, they only knew Gail to have that much power and strength. They didn't know or rather, they knew for sure that the Gaja clan didn't have anyone with that much power.

"I am pretty sure that is what your subordinates reported. Gail left the city and appeared near a core."

"Then he must have come back. There is no way there is another person at the same level in the Gaja clan.

I need to use my full power. We cannot hold back. With Gail also in the mix, we wont be able to deal any damage at all."

Cray said as he closed his and tried to connect with all of the energy balls.

Sivan frowned and looked at the dot suspiciously. He doesn't know whether or not Gail came back, The first case is the best case scenario because they don't need to worry about someone who is as powerful as Gail being present in Gaja clan.

This will throw their plans and morale into disarray.

Meanwhile back in the Gaja clan, the Sonic cat is looked at the energy balls through the cracked formation as it scratched its own head.

In fact it is in the exact spot where Cray and Sivan found the dot that indicated a powerful being. They just mistook the sonic cat for Gail's presence.

But that confusion made Cray to take the risk that he would have never taken if Gail was not really present in the city.

He connected with all of the energy balls at the same time and slowly moved them towards the city.

Even though they are not moving as fast as the previous ones and they are definitely not metamorphosising as fast as before, it is certainly more intimidating and more dangerous.

Sam was surprised by the sudden change in the attack pattern. He looked at the Sonic cat and said.

"It is time for you to make a move. Are you sure you can handle this?"

The cat shook its head as if it is not confident.

"Then try your best."

Sam just left those words and looked at the sky.

He took out the communication token and called Grivon and Giyon.

"Get ready with your transference tokens. The attack from the enemy is of way too high caliber. If things don't work out with the defensive measures, we are going to escape. Do you understand?"

"What happened?"

Giyon asked in surprise. She was busy taking care of the kids and Saran's wife that she didn't care much about the massive explosions outside.

"No time to explain. Just make sure that things don't go wrong with the escape if things go wrong with this place."

While he was speaking, all of the powerhouses within the clan immediately made the move.

Gamin, Yuvana, Saran, the Clan's leader, the leader of the Elite team, and finally the sonic cat.

All of them made a move at ten of these objects and they attacked simultaneously.
