[The Highest Privilege]

FA*, it is an abbreviation that refers to the original game, ‘Frontier Academia’, on the internet. (TL: *Furoaka in katakana, but I abbreviate it to FA)

Although, some anti-fans convert it into kanji and write it as ‘Bath Filth*’. (TL: *風呂垢– Furoaka in kanji)

Anyway, magic in the world of FA is, roughly speaking, ‘a miracle that materialize something that one is wishing for in the world’.

“Originally, people actually don’t need any other action than ‘wishing’ to cast magic. They can cast magic by simply paying magic power and wish ‘do this’ to the world.

“But the image- conditions of the wish strongly influences the magic at the time it is casted as there is a risk of it going out of control due to lack of information such as ‘what is it, how large is it, what do it do, etc.’; that is why it is necessary to use a spell (skill name) to lay out a guide rail- or something along those lines, right?” (Sakurai)

For example, anyone can cut ingredients with a kitchen knife and fry them on a frying pan to cook up a dish.

The customer has to order from a fixed menu without being to talk to the chef directly, preventing the customer from making unclear demands.

Thus, the cook is able to make a proper dish, safe from the customer miscellaneous orders, which eventually leads to the to the protection of the customer themselves.

By the way, technique type skills such as ‘Flame Sword’ and ‘Shishū’ are different from magic which needs to be cooked by the world; they need to be cooked by oneself, so to speak.

Since you cook them yourself, you don’t have to pay a fee (magic power), but it takes very long years for one to be able to provide the same level of dish as that of the world.
