CH 2

Don’t…Tang Ze Chi…don’t die!

Chu Yuan opened his eyes and was dripping with cold sweat, to find himself in a familiar classroom.

He looked around and immediately recognized that this was his classroom from his first year of high school, with even the exact same layout.

The electronic clock in the classroom clearly showed the time and date from eight years ago.

On the desk was a math workbook with “Senior Class 8, Chu Yuan” written on it.

“Am I dreaming…”

He muttered in disbelief. But everything in front of him felt so real.

To ensure it wasn’t a dream, he pinched his face hard.

The pain almost made him cry out.

So it was real.

In that instant, he felt more ecstatic than if he had won the lottery.

In his last life, he had really failed to live a good life.

In high school, he fell in love with Zou Kai.

In this new life, he never wanted to live like that again. He wanted to study hard and make achievements; he wanted to cherish those that he missed, Tang Ze Chi, his brother … and make sure to stay far away from the scum.

Chu Yuan clutched his phone and dialed his parents’ and brother’s phone numbers separately.

In his last life, he rarely took the initiative to call his family, and even when he did, it was always to ask for money. The joy with which they received his call made him sad.

After chatting with them, he returned to his classroom. Now he was ready to see Tang Ze Chi.

Just as he was thinking of what to say, the sound of footsteps came from outside the classroom.

By now he was very familiar with Tang Ze Chi’s movements and currently those footsteps sounded like Tang Ze Chi’s.

Chu Yuan’s heart pounded violently in his chest.

He quickly walked to the window, pushed it open, and poked out his little fluffy head.

Since he was anxious, his eyes, which were originally big, were open even wider making him look like a nervous deer.

Under his gaze, the eighteen-year-old Tang Ze Chi walked over nimbly.

Hubby…

Chu Yuan cried out softly in his heart. He uncontrollably shed some tears, his slender eyelashes fluttered, and his heart felt sore and painful.

In his last life, Tang Ze Chi’s high school life was not pleasant.

His parents were on death row and were executed when he was in elementary school.

This story was spread all over their small city, and the most direct result was that Tang Ze Chi, who was still a child, became the target of everyone’s bullying in school.

From elementary to high school, Tang Ze Chi was never accepted and was isolated by everyone. But no matter what he was not the type to let others bully him. Since his classmates didn’t accept him and tried to bully him all the time, he thought why not let them fear him instead.

With this thought in mind, Tang Ze Chi became the most famous bully in Middle School.

He grew up alone amidst the bullying of his classmates and the disgust of his teachers since he was a child. To make matters worse, he was kicked out of his home by his uncle’s family for absurd reasons. He began to find ways to make money in junior high school. Since he was a young child, no one even wanted to hire him for part time jobs. Hence he could only fight illegally for others with all that he had, work for dark internet cafes, bars and karaokes to earn money to continue studying.

Even though life was full of pain, he never gave up.

He slept only three or four hours a day, studied whenever he could, but never missed any homework assigned by his teachers. With more than half of the money he earned, he bought books as he wanted to go to University B and major in computer science.

In the midst of all this, he got a chance to get to know Chu Yuan and he gradually fell in love with him.

Even though he knew that Chu Yuan liked Zou Kai, he still treated Chu Yuan well without expecting anything in return.

Chu Yuan’s thoughts drifted uncontrollably, and when he came back to his senses, Tang Ze Chi had already walked into the classroom. This younger Tang Ze Chi looked more handsome, sharp and untamed compared to the older and more mature Tang Ze Chi.

He had a neat crew cut, and his facial features expressed a kind of domineering handsomeness, while his whole body exuded a cold and oppressive aura. All of this made people afraid to approach him.

In his last life, by this time Chu Yuan had clearly stated to Tang Ze Chi that he likes Zou Kai and not him.

And he also asked Tang Ze Chi to help him chase Zou Kai.

So when Tang Ze Chi walked into the classroom, his eyes did not linger too much on Chu Yuan.

He sat down in his seat, and quickly searched for something on his desk.

He lifted his desk up slightly and the textbooks and pencil case slid off the desk to the ground.

With a “snap”, the pencil case was thrown open, and the pens inside scattered in all directions.

Tang Ze Chi ignored the pencil case and continued to rummage through the shelf in his desk. He finally found half a roll of dirty toilet paper, tore off most of it, and pressed it on his bleeding right arm.

After doing this, he bent down to pick up the pencil case, and suddenly saw a pair of white hands picking up the things that fell on the ground before him.

T/N: Thank you everyone for reading my translation of this novel, I’ve been reading all the comments and they make my day ^^

I feel so sorry for the gong, he has gone through much pain and horror for his age and still he treated Chu Yuan right (while Chu Yuan makes me cringe from second hand embarrassment at times, but then he’s just a dumb naive kid), and I’m starting to like this gong a lot ><

Also, just a little heads up, this novel at times (mostly) is illogical, so please shut your brains off while reading it lol… But there’s lots of fluff around here so I hope you enjoy this sweet (?) ride~
