Chapter 103

103 Hang out

A few days had passed since team seven worked with the bandit’s division, and team six infiltrated Potter’s consortium law firm.

The two teams had reported as well as submitted the items that were gotten to the council, and after the rewards were collected, they went their separate ways.

Inside a room in the male dormitory, eight people were in the living room, with each one of them having a different expression and look on their faces.

“The hellfire domain training was better than I expected. I thought we wouldn’t even stand a chance against that beast, but who knew it would be that easy.” Bane blurted.

When the remaining seven in the living room heard Bane, they stared at him, and a couple of them shook their heads.

“It was too easy, in fact,” Bane ate the food from the plate he was holding on to as he spoke.

“Of course, you’re going to say that, you didn’t do anything after all,” Becky exclaimed with a sneer on her face.

Bane raised an eyebrow, he wanted to speak when he was interrupted by Becky. “You didn’t contribute a single thing to the battle and even the task you were to handle, you fled when the dragon was coming after you.”

“Oh, so, I should stay and get cooked by the dragon.” Bane sneered.

.....

After the seven teams in the division returned from their mission, they all headed to the training ground the following day. And along with the three instructors, the doors of the hellfire domain were opened to them.

The last time the teams were in the domain, they had fought against several golems, from one-headed to three-headed. But, this time around they didn’t go against golems instead, it was a huge dragon that they were up against.

And just like the golems that were created from the flames in the domain, the dragon was also made from these bizarre flames. However, the power that was possessed by the dragon was something that the golems couldn’t compare it.

Even the three-headed golem certainly wasn’t a match for the dragon.

“There was a plan made to deal with the dragon, you just had to play your own part in it, which you didn’t. And instead, you ran like a bitch, so much for the mighty Bane of exodus.” Becky ridiculed Bane as she recalled how he had reacted against the dragon.

“The truth is I wanted to avoid taking all glory away because if I were to make a move on the dragon it’s over. The rest of you won’t have gotten the chance to show your skills.” Bane stated.

And as he saw the look he received from everyone in the living room, he nodded his head several times. “I know, I know, I’m a very humble and selfless person.” He said.

“Haha hahaha!!” Becky burst into laughter a second after Bane spoke. “I always knew you were hit in the head as a child, I just didn’t think it was that deep,” Becky exclaimed.

Bane’s eyes twitched, and his lips curl inward as he stared at Becky, who was still laughing.

“What are you laughing at? All you did was create a paper dragon, and a water spray gun.” Bane paused, “Perhaps I was hit in the head, you were slammed on the ground when you were little.”

“What in the devil’s name were you thinking! A paper dragon and water spray gun, you can do better than that.” Bane shook his head, seemingly disappointed.

Meanwhile, Becky’s hands were already clenched into a tight fist, she glared at Bane almost as though she were going to shred him apart at any given time.

“I was under a lot of pressure from the dragon, I just created anything that came to me,” Becky stated as she stared at the people in the room. Her gaze soon moved to Bane and she said.

“At least I didn’t run away, I was brave enough to make a move, unlike you.”

When Bane heard Becky, he chuckled, “Well, you made a dumb move back there. Your attack was akin to throwing an egg at a rock, and then you come crying out, at least I made a move.”

“What a dumbass.” Bane blurted.

“Y-You... Son of a bitch!” Becky spoke, and she was about to launch at Bane when Melinda held her back.

Becky glared at Melinda, who also had a light frown on her face. She was about to speak when Melinda waved her hand and said.

“What is wrong with the both of you?”

“She started it.”

“He started it.”

A second after Melinda spoke, and Becky and Bane’s voices rang out. The both of them were staring at one another with a rather complicated expression on their face.

“Well, it’s okay. We defeated the dragon, end of discussion.” Melinda said. “Now, let’s talk about the new couples among us.”

When Melinda spoke, her gaze was already on the duo that was seating close to one another. They were none other than Raphael and Elisa.

Raphael was wearing a white shirt and black pants, and Elisa was wearing a deep blue sweater and blue jeans. And when Elisa heard Melinda, she raised her head and flashed a light smile at Melinda.

“You know, I’m certainly impressed. The both of you have been together for a while now, and it seemed to be going quite well.” Melinda said with a smile on her face.

When the conversation switched to Raphael and Elisa, everyone in the room had their eyes fixed on both of them.

At first, none of them believed that Raphael and Elisa were together, but when they saw the frequent visits, the discussions, and sometimes goodbye kisses and pecks they began to accept it gradually.

Becky, who was furious a moment ago now had a smile on her face. Both of them were initially scared because of what Raphael said a few days ago, but seeing how he treated their friend, the worries they had lessened.

“Who could have imagined that the both of you will be in a relationship, and the first among all of us,” Melinda said.

Raphael had only spoken a few words since he joined them in the living room. His attention was mostly on the meal in front of him and the television screen.

However, when he heard Melinda, he couldn’t help but turn toward her.

Melinda noticed Raphael staring at her, and she said, “I bet you didn’t see it coming. I always thought the first will be Ethan or Edward.”

“Those two, that isn’t possible,” Bane responded.

“I know what everyone is really thinking.” Bane paused, “You were expecting yours truly to be the first to be in a relationship, but I’m sorry to disappoint you all.”

“I’m not a relationship kind of person, I...” Before Bane would complete his words, Becky’s voice rang out.

“No one actually wants you, so shut the hell up,” Becky said.

Bane hadn’t been expecting any of those words from Becky. He stared at her, evidently shocked, but Bane wouldn’t be Bane if he wasn’t able to deliver a comeback.

“Becky, please speak for yourself. We both know you’re the one with no suitor or male companion out there. For me, it wouldn’t take more than a clap, and I’m already in a relationship.”

“I won’t spare you!!”

This time around, Becky launched herself at Bane, and no one in the living room stopped her from going after him.
