Chapter 158

158 Final Tournament III

Bang!

Victor pulled the trigger of the two guns that were in his hands and then heaved a deep breath.

He glared at Elisa, who had easily dodged the two gunshots that came at her, and his lips curved inwardly.

“What happened, I thought you don’t miss a target,” Elisa said in a mocking tone.

The number of times Victor had to pull the trigger was uncountable, as Elisa was able to elude from every single one of them.

She made a mockery of him the whole time.

“Y-You...” Victor stuttered.

“You what?” Elisa sneered.

“That’s because you took away my power, if not I would have ended you by now,” Victor said in an enraged tone.

.....

Meanwhile, Elisa shook her head.

“And don’t you come to act like some pro. Just as I’m unable to do anything to you, you also can’t lay a finger on me.” Victor blurted.

And there was indeed no lie to the words he had just said. Elisa was unable to move close to him, because of the gunshot she had to deal with.

“We will see about that,” Elisa said.

Victor sneered, and waving his hand, two rifles replaced the pistol he was holding on to.

He wasted no time and once he had his finger around the triggers he pulled it consecutively.

Ka! Ka! Ka! Ka! Ka! Ka!

It was almost as if the guns in his hand possessed unlimited ammo, as there was no stopping.

Victor didn’t pull to reload the bullets, he just pressed the trigger of both guns.

And while his powers had been nullified, Victor’s aim was still top-notch. He didn’t shoot randomly, his shots were fired at the places Elisa was moving to or would move to.

Elisa was able to dodge the bullets, but as the shots kept coming without pause, it began to become difficult for her.

She tightened her grip on the dagger in her hands, and as she saw that smile as well as the confidence that was on Victor, she knitted her brows.

Ka! Ka! Ka! Ka!

There was no stopping for the bullet spray, but after Elisa covered some distance, and found the right angle, she threw the dagger at full force.

With a precision that defied common sense, the dagger moved at a frightening pace, and within seconds it appeared before Victor.

Victor’s eyes twitched as he saw the dagger ahead, he wanted to move, but before he could do so, the dagger penetrated deep into his eye.

“Ahhh~!”

Victor let out a pure scream of agony as the dagger pierced through his eyeball.

Blood was oozing out of his body, and as Victor was still dealing with the pain of the dagger, he received a high kick from Elisa.

Bang!

Victor’s face was slammed heavily on the ground.

His front teeth broke from the hit and were on the ground as well. While the back of his head was covered in blood.

Elisa had a disdainful look on her face, she turned towards the referee, and as the referees saw the look on her face, one of them stepped out quickly.

“The winner is Elisa.” He announced.

A light smile appeared on Elisa’s face, she readjusted her clothes and walked back to the elite division area.

Victor was soon taken away from the stage, and after a few minutes, the next competitors were called forward.

The battle was between Aurora from the tech division and Azarov from the bandit division.

“Fighters ready? Start!”

Aurora was no easy opponent, and as the referee spoke, Azarov assumed a battle stance, something he hadn’t done in his previous fight.

He tightened his grip on his sword and stared at Aurora.

Suddenly, Azarov approached Aurora.

Aurora didn’t wait around, and as Azarov took the first step, she launched herself at him. She moved in a zigzag manner, with several beads on her hands.

Xiu!

Azarov was the first to attack, he swung his sword as he was a few meters away from Aurora.

And if there was one thing Aurora was more conscious of was to prevent the sword from causing her to bleed.

She moved away very quickly.

While, none of the students that Azarov encountered forced him to go all out, the academy was very familiar with what exactly he was capable of.

His power was his sword. It allowed him to paralyze and immobilize his opponent by either ingesting a sample of their blood, or his sword coming in contact with the opponent’s blood.

“Go!” Aurora muttered a second after she eluded the sword strike.

As her soft voice rang out, the beads that were in her hand flew and dashed toward Azarov.

Azarov knew better than to underestimate Aurora. He held his sword and struck the beads that were attacking him.

Clang!

The beads were metallic and as they came in contact with Azarov’s sword, a sound rang out.

Azarov was then forced to retreat several steps backward from the continuous attack of the bead. He had to move as well as swing his sword in different directions as the beads were ruthless.

They attacked in different fashions, and they seemed to possess unfathomable power.

“Y-You...” Azarov stuttered.

He was dealing with the beads that he almost forget that Aurora was standing in front of him. And as he managed to move his gaze to her, his eyes twitched.

There was then an expression full of fear on Azarov’s face, as he saw what Aurora was up to

A few meters away from Azarov were twenty anti-tank rocket launchers, all pointing toward him.

Behind the rocket launcher was Aurora, and as she saw him, she waved her hand at him, before then pressed the red button tool that was on her hand.

“Oh, oh” Azarov mumbled.

There was no need to worry about the people in the surroundings, as the academy had already taken measures to ensure such a scenario doesn’t occur.

And as the red button was pressed, the propelled grenade was sent forward.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The mighty sound of an explosion echoed through the surrounding.

After the explosion, whether it was Azarov or the beads he had been fighting it, none of them could be seen.

The rocket launcher had left his area in a distorted state. It was so horrible to the extent that no one in the surrounding believed that Azarov was capable of surviving it.

There was complete silence in the domain, and as the referees were beginning to wonder whether or not they should declare Aurora the winner, there was suddenly a sound of footsteps.

The steps were taken slowly, and trails of blood were left behind. As the dust cleared in the region cleared, Azarov appeared in front of everyone.

“I... I can’t believe he survived that.”

“Yes, but at what cost.”

Azarov was covered in blood from head to toe.

His clothes were dyed in blood, and blood dripped from different parts of him. Despite, being in such a horrible state, he stared at Aurora with a light smile on his face.

“Impressive! He blurted and spat blood out of his mouth.

“I will have your head in between my sword before I leave this stage,” Azarov stated.

A sneer, however, appeared on Aurora’s face.

She wasn’t panicked by the words said by Aurora nor the brutal, murderous intent that was coming out of his body.

“It is as if you read my mind about what I intend to do to you. This fight will only end until I have your head in my hand.” Aurora exclaimed.

A second after she spoke, she raised her hand, and after giving a series of commands to her wristwatch, she lowered her hand.

.....

It was barely up to two seconds after, and a black suit made of gold-titanium alloy suddenly appeared on Aurora.

There was a circular arc reactor in the middle of the suit, a thruster behind her back, and a rechargeable laser capable of decimating any substance.

She was also wearing an electronic helmet.

“This won’t save you from me.” Azarov blurted.

“We will see about that.”

Aurora replied.

She stretched both her hands forward, “Goodbye!”

With that said, and flames burst out of Aurora’s left hand. As the flames came from their left hand, spikes made of ice emerged from her right hand.

There was no time to be dazed by Aurora’s stunt, and as she sent both flames and ice coming toward Azarov, he moved quickly.

This time around, he didn’t wander aimlessly, and instead, he dashed towards Aurora while eluding the ice and flames.

“Hahaha!!! Is this all you’re capable of?” Azarov exclaimed as dodging the ice spikes and flames was easier than he thought it would be.

“Who said that all.”

Aurora stomped her feet heavily after she spoke.

Azarov was only a few meters away from her when he felt a change in the environment.

He paused, and as he decided to take a step forward, he found himself floating upward. The sword he was holding on to soon broke free from his grasp.

Shock was written all over his face, as every movement caused him to float upward again.

“What did you do?!” Azarov yelled.

Raphael, who was seating a few meters away, opened his mouth and said.

“Gravity manipulation.”
