He smiled a little sullenly at her reaction, which was colder than expected. Approaching the bed, he sat next to Lily and handed her the tray.
“I’m fine without breakfast.. I rarely eat breakfast.”
When he heard her refusal, he didn’t even listen to it. Moritz opened the case covering the plate. He then put a fork in the roast duck on his own..
“Listen. You’ve been to this mansion a lot, but you haven’t had a meal. The chef will be sad.”

Without a word, he handed the fork to Lily inside.
He didn’t know why she was against it, though he knew what to do at times like this—giving her some time and slowly getting used to it. It was just like s*x, it was just like training, it was just like building relationships with people, and even politics.
Moritz watched Lily while she ate.
