Chapter 12.8

It was about 1.8km between school and home, and it took about eight minutes by bicycle. The average human walking speed was 4km/h, so it would take 27 minutes on foot.

“Don’t you watch EPL or NBA?”

“I don’t watch any sports leagues. I don’t watch sports itself.”

Even while knowing things like that, Sangwoo was walking slowly while pushing his bicycle. It was one of the most inefficient actions he had ever done in his life, but he didn’t have a choice since he had already told Jaeyoung that he would do so.

“It’s cool how you don’t have any interest in that. You seem to have a body that works out a bit, though.”

“Watching and doing are different. I have to have basic physical strength since I have to sit by a desk for long periods of time.”

It was amazing that the feeling of it being fine didn’t disappear despite talking about useless things. Sangwoo walked through the streets that he usually biked past every day, counting the signs he’d never seen and how many streetlights there were. The lukewarm night air was humid. However, even the sweaty sensation he felt under the straps of his backpack didn’t ruin his mood.

“I like both. Do you want to play basketball together next time?”

“Not during work hours.”

Jaeyoung didn’t say anything for a while. Sangwoo glanced at the expressionless profile and turned his gaze forward again. The streets where the streetlights illuminated were all orange. Even if he had a goal of arriving home, he felt regret that the remaining distance was decreasing.

“We’ve already arrived.”

“We’ve arrived because it was time to.”

Looking at the clock, it had taken 22 minutes longer than his expected 27 minutes. It meant that they had been walking a lot slower than the average speed of walking.

Jaeyoung stopped in the alley where they could see the building. Sangwoo’s steps also slowed down. He dragged his bike to the bike stand, parked it in its designated spot, and locked it. Even if he was doing it as slowly as he possibly could, he finished quickly. It was time to enter the building, but Sangwoo looked back.

Jaeyoung, who hadn’t left yet, was looking at him with both hands in his pockets. He wasn’t even whispering racy things in his ears, nor was he pretending to sleep with his eyes closed. He was just staying still, so why? Perhaps it was a ruse from the streetlights. Sangwoo even forgot about the fact that they had been stuck together all day and he felt the need to see Jaeyoung up close. When he was with him, he often felt an unpleasant feeling in his chest. Neither the sensation of his heart beating faster than its normal speed nor the feeling of the blood circulating faster in his blood vessels were pleasant. At that moment, Sangwoo felt more uneasy than ever.

‘Your patience is no joke.’

Chu Sangwoo was a thoroughly brainy human being. His world had been ruled by a control tower called reason for 25 years. However, the power of carnal desire, which usually was controlled by his stomach, rose in rebellion recently, and no matter how persecuted it was, rather than being rooted out, it was a headache as it grew stronger every day.

Sangwoo lost his mind as his gaze went over Jaeyoung’s silhouette: a handsomely tall guy engulfed in orange light. It was a look that he couldn’t get enough of no matter how long he stared. It was someone who made him feel extremely thirsty because of the simple fact that he was standing too far away. Even though it was an irrational appreciation, he couldn’t ignore it.

He was out of control.

Recently, he had been struggling to resist Jaeyoung’s elusive temptation, but to no avail. The arousal he thought he had defeated was accumulating, and the moment he crossed the threshold, his feet moved on their own without a way to withstand the feeling of not being able to endure the distance between them.

Sangwoo slowly walked and approached Jaeyoung. He was trying to come up with an excuse in his mind, but no matter how much he thought about it, there was just one answer. The flag of impulses had occupied the walls of Sangwoo’s mental fortress, telling him that he couldn’t resist anymore and that he’d rather become a savage.

“Jaeyoung sunbae…I…”

Sangwoo stopped in front of Jaeyoung. He was only staring at Sangwoo, without moving one inch.

“There’s something I’ve really been wanting to do since a few days ago.”

The serious eyes without any mischief in them whatsoever made Sangwoo nervous. As soon as Sangwoo opened his mouth to add more, Jaeyoung said, “I know.”

“May I?”

“Yeah, as much as you want.”

Sangwoo nodded and took a step closer to Jaeyoung. Since he had gotten permission to, he didn’t need to hesitate. This time, he personally and willingly approached Jaeyoung with a sober mind. He looked into the brown eyes where pretty lights were reflected, extending both his arms to Jaeyoung’s cheeks. The moment he lifted his heels while pulling the face towards him, Jaeyoung stepped back and hid in the shade in the alley.

Blocking Sangwoo’s lips with his finger as Sangwoo tried to pounce on him, he said, “Softly, this time. While enjoying each bit. Can you do it?”

Sangwoo immediately wanted to remove his finger, but Jaeyoung’s attitude was so serious that he just nodded. Jaeyoung’s finger slowly fell off his lips.

Following the guidance, Sangwoo pushed Jaeyoung towards the dark wall. On tiptoes again, he swallowed that guy’s lips. The brim of his cap touched Jaeyoung’s forehead and fell behind him. Sangwoo readily inhaled the vanilla scent of the lip balm, the smell of cigarettes, the scent of Jang Jaeyoung.

He felt the hand on his back stop moving when he stuck his tongue out.

‘Oh, right. Softly.’

He tightly closed his eyes, but he didn’t know what to do. That’s because he’d never been so anxious to kiss someone before.

“You have to breathe through your nose.”

The moment he followed the second guideline, which had sounded like a small thing, Jaeyoung gently surged in. His lips covered Sangwoo’s, which were already slippery with saliva, and rubbed them. He slightly licked them with his tongue and slowly sucked at them with only his upper lip against his mouth.

He hoped that he was going to do something else soon. Sangwoo was extremely insatiable so he pulled Jaeyoung’s neck towards him. Jaeyoung hugged Sangwoo’s waist and tickled the inside of his lips by using the tip of his tongue. Gently, slowly, softly, he was melting Sangwoo.

His tongue entered between his teeth. Sangwoo tried to be careful, but it wasn’t going well. The tip of the two tongues met and soon became entangled. Jaeyoung entwined Sangwoo’s tongue while simultaneously stroking his ear with his hand. As he gently stroked his earlobes, his shoulders automatically withdrew. After grazing his temple, he widely supported Sangwoo’s head. He then whispered, “breathe.”

When Sangwoo exhaled his forgotten breath through his nose, he turned his head, which allowed deeper access, licking the root of his tongue.

‘Softly, this time. While enjoying each bit.’

The senses he had used while eating or similar until this point were awaked in a different way. The dizzying pleasure occupied his head, tightly embracing Jaeyoung’s neck.

Closer. Closer. Even closer. Deeper.

Jaeyoung was gently pulled over towards him.

‘Softly.’

Jaeyoung’s tongue swept through his teeth and disappeared. It made Sangwoo insatiable. Jaeyoung bit his lip slightly with his teeth. The moan he had been holding back by sheer force escaped his mouth. Jaeyoung’s palm stayed on Sangwoo’s cheek. He turned his head 90 degrees and rubbed his lips against the opposite side.

“Haah, haah…”

This time, he was out of breath not because he couldn’t breathe, but because of the excitement. He had no choice but to be the one to push him away first. Jaeyoung’s lips slowly fell off his own.

“I told you my gut feeling is very accurate. I should start telling fortunes.”

He had no way of telling whether the reason his face turned red even in the dark was due to the lighting or to the excitement.

“I lost.”

“I told you that it isn’t a competition.”

“I didn’t mean that I lost to you, sunbae, but to lust.”

“Isn’t lust a part of you?”

It was not the right time for a debate. That’s because it was difficult for him to even stand up after the mesmerizing kiss. The desire to feel greater pleasure and the desire to escape clashed. He was afraid of something stronger.

“I’m leaving.”

“Okay.”

Since his cap had been squished behind Jaeyoung’s waist, it was crooked when he put it on his head.

“Sleep tight, Sangwoo.”

“… You too, sunbae.”

Before Sangwoo got greedier, he hurriedly headed back towards the building.

return 0;

“Hello?”

– Did you get home safe?

“It takes 30 seconds, so why wouldn’t I? Why did you call?”

– Because I wanted to hear your voice.

“Oh yeah, you said you like to hear people’s voices.”

– No. I called because I wanted to hear your voice.

“…”

– …

“Sunbae.”

– Yeah?

“Why are you so skilled?”

– …

“Have you practiced a lot?”

– … who knows?

“If you don’t have anything to say, should we hang up?”

– No. Tell me about your day.

“Today. I had my ‘Popular Culture & Cultural Theory’ class. I don’t understand Orientalism that well, but a person that takes that same class explained things well, so…”

– Jihye?

“Yes. Then I had lunch… Ox Bone Soup, Seasoned Snail Noodles, Stir-fried Seaweed Stems, Yoghurt, Gakk….”

– Did the two of you eat together?

“Yes. And a walk…”

– With Jihye?

“Yes. Oh, and I might be a bit later on Friday than usual. I’ll let you know.”

– Why?

“I have to grab dinner with someone.”

– Why?

“Someone told me that they have something to tell me.”

– Sangwoo.

“Yes?”

– What are we doing these days?

“Producing a game.”

– Apart from that.

“Sunbae…. Is waiting for me.”

– For what?

“Do I have to say it out loud?”

– Mm.

“Sex.”

– Why do you think I want to do that with you?

“I don’t know. That’s up to you, sunbae.”

– Got it. Can you give me Jihye’s number?

“Why?”

– Because I haven’t greeted her in a while.

“I can’t give our personal information. I’ll ask her in person on Friday, and if she’s okay with it, I’ll let you know.”

– Okay, I’m hanging up. See you at our next meeting.

Click.

“See you tomorrow, hyung.”
