Work Hard Together (3)

Bai Jing announced in the group chat while arguing with others: “Advance sale for the class selection information of the school grasses and school flowers ranked in the top ten last year! Ten yuan per person, only ten yuan!”

The crowd in the group was immediately excited. “Is the group host crazy? He dares to sell one piece of information at a high price!”

“What use is there being in the same class as the class flower and school grass? As if I can sit beside them.”

Bai Jing rapidly typed out words: “Wake up, what can you do with ten yuan? You can be in close contact with the school grass and class flower and become classmates for the rest of the two years. Even if there is no interaction, at least it can be an eye-candy, right?”

He aimed his phone at his best friend, who sat in the front, took a shot of his face, and sent it to the group. “Does anybody want to look at this kind of face for the remaining two years?”

The boy initially looked ugly. His face looked like the surface of the moon. With such a close-up shot, it seemed particularly frightening.

The crowd immediately wailed: “Fuck, talk nicely. Don’t send a picture just because of a disagreement!”

“The nose hair can be fully seen. It burns my eyes.”

“I propose two and a five yuan, asking for this dear friend’s class selection information!”

“Fuck, whose preference is so strong? Why are you buying his information?”

“Buy it to avoid him, ah!”

Everyone sent out a ‘howling with laughter’ emoticon inside the group. That boy angrily stretched his hand out to punch Bai Jing. “Are you itching to be beaten?”

Bai Jing: “I’m using the power of your picture. I’ll share ten yuan with you later.”

“Pei! Add milk tea to it.”

Bai Jing laughed out loudly. “Deal!”

Tang Tiantian has finished choosing for herself. She stood up and said, “Is there anyone who has finished choosing? You can hand it in now. Don’t rush it if you can’t hand it in now.”

Not everyone wanted to inquire about the school flower and school grass. Some had finished selecting quickly and started to pass the form to the front.

Ruan Qingmu also tapped on the delicate boy in the front and passed the class selection form through his shoulder. He then took out his phone to take a look.

The crowd inside the group chat was still noisy; almost everyone was anonymous.

Some guessed Ruan Qingmu’s purpose for provoking Qin Yuan; some made up that the Goddess in Class 1 that Ruan Qingmu secretly liked had been rejected, some others said Ruan Qingmu had asked Qin Yuan for an answer in the last semester’s end of term exam and reported by Qin Yuan.

Each of them was organized as if they were real.

Ruan Qingmu didn’t know whether he should laugh or cry as he looked at them. He scrolled online for a while and suddenly saw the corridor picture taken by an unknown person.

He carefully looked over it, abruptly smiled, and clicked the save button.

Suddenly, an anonymous person sent out a message to the group.

“Is there any information about Class 1 Big Brother Qin Yuan’s class selection?”

There was an awkward silence inside the group.

Bai Jing sent out three crumbling expressions: “This sister, please be a little rational. It’s not that I don’t dare to sell Big Brother Qin’s information, but is it necessary?”

All of a sudden, several messages came out simultaneously.

“Of course, he chose the competition class for all subjects. Are there even any other options?”

“Yes. Bai Xiaosheng won’t be able to sell this information because the answer is already fixed!”

“Because the answer is already fixed! +1”

“+2.”

“+10086.” ….

Ruan Qingmu looked at the messages on the screen. He suddenly opened his mouth and shouted to the front, “Class monitor, I want to change my class selection.”

Tang Tiantian let out an “oh” and hurriedly found his class selection form from the neatly stacked papers. She kindly sent it to him in person. “You can change it.”

Student Ruan Qingmu, who ranked at the bottom of the grade, accepted it and crossed out all the “standard classes” in the form.

Then, he confidently ticked “competition class” on all three secondary subjects’ options.

Tang Tiantian: “This…”

Ruan Qingmu raised his brows. “Why? Can’t I?”

Tang Tiantian almost stuttered, “Can, you can. It’s just, just maybe….”

She couldn’t continue anymore. It wasn’t “maybe” he couldn’t keep up with the progress, but “definitely” he couldn’t keep up, right?

But she wasn’t a sharp person. She really couldn’t tell someone not to overestimate themselves in front of their face.

Ruan Qingmu suddenly smiled. The pair of peach blossom eyes were gentle and lazy, “Then let’s work hard together.”

…The surrounding students staring at him almost went crazy. The pen in Bai Jing’s hand fell to the ground with a “snap.”

Who goddamn wanted to work hard together?

Who was going to the competition class, that cauldron cooking oil on fire, and work hard together with those freaks!

Top student Qin: I heard there’s a new student in our competition class?
