Coming to See You! (2)

Ruan Qingmu looked at him with a clear and bright look. “Yes, I like our ancient culture.”

Old Jian immediately became happy. High school students, especially many young girls, liked classical poems. It was a common thing.

“Then what do you like?” He kindly looked at the underachiever student. The more he looked at him, the more he felt that this child had a handsome appearance and a pleasing smile.

“Poetry and songs, and the four arts2; I like a little bit of them.” Ruan Qingmu respectfully answered.

“Hahaha!” Old Jian was happy. “Come, come, come. Recite one that you like, and let me listen to it.”

Ruan Qingmu blinked, “Ah, I just like something like ‘The boat was full of red sleeves; laughing and throwing silk handkerchief. Boating on the Jiangzhu, the account was free and unfettered.”

The nearby group leader of the Grade Department let out a “puff” and sprayed a mouthful of wolfberry chrysanthemum tea.

Old Jian’s face turned black, and he stretched a hand to rub his head. “Don’t randomly look at those third-rate web novels, such as ‘the boat was full of red sleeves.’ Take a more look at Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Wei, and Bai Juyi3’s poems!”

Several teachers laughed together, and Old Jian helplessly waved his hand.

“Fine, this teacher has realised your determination. You should go back.”

……

On the next day, the result of the shift class system trial came out. The new class differentiation table and timetable were stuck on every class’ bulletin board.

First thing in the morning, the students of every class noisily crowded around the bulletin board and looked at the secondary subject class differentiation.

“Aiyo, there are so few people in the competition class, only thirty more people, ah.”

“Boss Qin indeed applied for all three subjects. Tsk, tsk.”

“I won’t go to the competition class even if you beat me to death. Thirty top students inside a small classroom doing Olympiad questions together every day; don’t you feel it’s suffocating just by thinking about it?”

“Yes, that’s right. It’s the feeling of imminent death.”

Suddenly, someone finally realised that there was something wrong in the first place.

“Hey? Am I blind? Someone else applied to the competition class for all three subjects?

The students behind squeezed in and shouted in unison, “Fuck, who is that? Who is so awesome?”

“Is it the Class 2 study representative, Li Jianquan?”

Several shock sounds simultaneously came from the front. “No, It’s our Class 9…..”

This really fucking grew a face4.

……

All students were quite excited on the first day of the shift class trial.

This was the first time Experimental No. 3 High School went through this kind of trial. The school’s Academic Affairs Department was even more nervous than the students. On the first afternoon, the teachers had even come earlier in advance. Each of them stood at the doorway and held a new attendance list to match the students one by one.

Inside the physics competition class, a group of students excitedly sat together and were already chatting together enthusiastically.

There were two original Honours Classes, and they consisted of the top 100 students with the best overall grades in the junior year. Those who applied to the competition class were students from these two classes, either Class 1 or Class 2. Everyone mostly knew each other.

The physics teacher was a small elderly woman with the surname Li. She was short and plump and neatly wore her hair in a bun. She was publicly known as a famous physics teacher in the whole school.

The bell has rung. The small elderly lady majestically stood on the podium and looked around below. “How do you all plan to arrange the seats? I won’t deliberately assign them anymore. The short ones go to the front. The tall ones should have some consciousness and sit in the back. Directly raise your hand if you have severe myopia, and I’ll transfer you to the front.”

Thirty more honour students were obedient and well-behaved. They immediately initiated the fine-tuning for a while. At the back of the crowd, a youth with a cold expression sat in the last row and didn’t budge; It was Qin Yuan.

He was considered tall among other boys and was already 183 cm in his sophomore year. His vision was also at the highest level of 5.3. He had also taken the initiative to sit in the back in his former class.

A boy with glasses as thick as the bottom of a wine bottle raised his hand.

“Teacher, I…..”

Elder Li nodded. “You should sit in the front.”

That boy was the study representative from the former honours Class 2, called Li Jianquan. He was well-known as the forever second place, who had been crushed by Qin Yuan’s overall scores with a difference of a few dozen points all year round.

He glanced at Qin Yuan in the back, and his face turned red. “No, I want to sit beside Student Qin Yuan! I want to improve with him and ask about his study methods.”

Elder Li was going to nod, but there was a knock from the class’ front door.

“Reporting. Sorry, I’m late.”

A certain student from Class 9 stood at the doorway. There was a smile on his face, completely not having the self-consciousness of an underachiever.

“Teacher, I also want to sit beside Student Qin Yuan, can I?”

A group of top students, “…..”

There was also someone who wasn’t from Honours Class 1 and 2 in this class?
