Used for: While the mortal body was incompatible with mana since the beginning, mortals progressed and stabilized afterward. However, the surge of emotions can lead to mana fluctuations as well as berserk mode.

The crow, as if smiling raised both of his wings, and a black mist clouded around its body.

Both the girls were dumbstruck as the crow turned into a handsome man, with black hair and blue eyes.

The girls had already illuminated the surroundings after the previous incident. But still, In the beautiful moonlight, the man looked like a charming prince.

Gulp-

Both the girls' faces turned slightly rosy as the man approached them.

However, the holy attribute inside them was screaming and ringing like it was the end of the world.

The man closed the distance and without waiting slammed their heads onto each other.

Both of them lowered their guard for a second to praise the beauty of the man who arrived and so paid price.

As their powers were sealed they were harmless.

My smile widened as Lisa who was previously backing off now tried to feel my touch more. She was carving for it.

I expected that she may be acting now.

She was two whole circles above me. So corruption won't work on her.

She may act like she is in my control and mess up all my plan so I had to stay cautious.

I hit her head and knocked her out once again.

A woman with reddish-orange hair sitting on a white chair and looking outside of the window in her cabin, spoke as Adelio entered.

"Alice."

Adelio noticed the woman quite informally.

"You know why I called you?"

Alice asked, to which Adelio frowned.

It was her habit to come to the point directly and he liked it, however, today it felt ominous.

"No,"

Adelio replied with a straight face.

'Acting ignorant huh?'

Alice shook her head and continued.

"Fine, you know about the demon hunting for second-year students, right?"

"Yes, I do."

"Then, you wished to be their supervisor, didn't you?"

"..."

Her question was answered with silence and a pondering figure of Adelio.

"What do you expect?"

To his question, Alice smiled and replied.

"An oath."

Adelio's brows furrowed.

What oath? That sounded way too fishy.

Looking at Adelio's confused expression Alice continued,

"An oath that you will not meddle with students."

Adelio's eyes widened.

Alice pushed her chair a little and avoided seeing directly into his eyes.

Facing her back to his front, Adelio lowered his head and clenched his fists.

He agreed to join the royal academy on one condition and that was to become the supervisor of the demon hunting event.

And now, he was ordered to only supervise and not to meddle with students.

Very few know, that the Crimson Burn tragedy happened, Adelio was partially responsible for it.

"Can I... at the very least... meddle if necessary?"

Adelio asked.

"No."

But Alice did not back off.

Hearing her determined voice, Adelio had no other choice but to heed her orders.

"Okay..."

Remembering his oath Adelio held back.

He wanted to help Jin and others to save Lisa but he was too occupied right now.

"Kreeee!"
