585 The loving parents

Time slowed, and darkness started surrounding them. Vincent soon appeared in his Soul Domain, sitting on his emerald throne. Below him were two shivering lizardmen looking back at him with a terrified expression.
“Welcome to my Soul Domain. Please do not be afraid about time. You can stay here for ten minutes here, and it will be ten seconds in the living world. Additionally, the two of you should not be able to feel pain right now as your body is actually your soul taking the form it is used to.”

The male lizardman also dropped to his knees after his leg wasn’t in pain anymore.
“We pay our respects to the god who decided to become our owner and has shown worry over our child. I am old, and I do not ask to be saved. I only ask for my mate and our child to be saved.”
“No, my god! I also don’t care about my life. I only care to have a safe birth, and our child living a better life than us.”
Vincent and Kazumi looked at each other. It was obvious the two lizardmen knew their condition was bad, and if they survived for a few more years, their child would experience a loss in their younger years.
