Chapter 757 - 757 The two blades and the greatest kick

757 The two blades and the greatest kick

[I... I think the body is about to explode. The concentration of mana will most definitely hurt us badly!]

Vincent did not have enough time to focus, extend his Soul Dimensional Storage reach, and store Bloody’s body before it exploded. After knowing how Mimi could make her blood a weapon, Vincent did not want to discover what would happen if Bloody exploded.

“The body is going to explode!” Vincent warned while quickly leaning forward and placing all his strength in his legs. He sprang forward to store Bloody’s body before it was too late.

All the wounds Ester had inflicted on Bloody’s body started to widen. One after the other, the damage Ester had dealt with her wind and ice sigils was too many to be counted.

Ester and Awa moved their gaze onto the body, gradually inflating as if the wind inside of a balloon was about to exit from the holes on it forcefully.

On the other hand, Lupa remained standing as if she was not fazed. She didn’t try to react to save Ester nor worry about Speedy reaching her in a second or two.

Vines rosed from the ground. However, they weren’t enough, and their size was also small. A handful of vines managed to clog a few holes, but it wasn’t enough, and their toughness also wasn’t enough to stop what was about to happen.

“Ladies and gentlemen! Bloody was taken down with remarkable teamwork...” The commentator paused to look at the representative and continued, “Tell us! What is happening to his body now?”

“...” The representative remained silent.

.....

Vlad smirked while watching what was happening with a cold gaze as if he wanted to kill someone right now.

“Looks like I have to start investigating the Selos Kingdom to see who accepted so abruptly to do business with bastards that sided with the Seers Of Rebirth and shamelessly presented experiments to fight for them.” He murmured.

While Vlad planned his next people to hunt, he didn’t show any worry about his daughter, as if he trusted Mimi not to be injured by the blood of an experiment.

Bloody’s body shrank in the blink of an eye as if an invisible force was squeezing him dry. Wounds or not, from all the holes in his body shot dozens upon dozens of fast projectiles of different sizes.

The bloody projectiles were made of condensed mutated yellow steaming blood. Furthermore, they all shot at the same time as if it was an explosion. The danger was at its highest level.

Vincent raised his guard as there was nothing in his power that he could do. He was infuriated to be helpless in such a life treating moment.

Abusing the benefit of Soul Invite was not enough to act. In the end, all Vincent could do was hope none of his wives suffered a critical injury as he could heal them one way or another.

Before the projectiles reached Vincent, they reached Lupa.

Lupa remained unfazed while her golden bloodshot eyes crying blood moved vigorously as if they could see all of the blood projectiles heading her way.

Lupa’s body became blurry as she moved hastily with every fiber in her being. Every projectile heading her way passed through her body as if Lupa had become ethereal.

Speedy had reached Lupa. He had reached the striking zone. As he confidently swung his blades to slice Lupa in two, dozens of projectiles shot from Lupa’s ethereal body.

Speedy was overconfident in his tough, muscular body. He believed he could take the attack from his deceased teammate. However, he was wrong, and this was the start of a deadly mistake.

Speedy did not stop to defend. Instead, he kept moving his limbs to kill Lupa.

The projectiles reached his skin. No matter how overconfident he was about his body, the projectiles penetrated inside his body as if nothing could stop them.

Speedy stopped mid-swing while his face contorted a deep frown. The blood from the projectiles started melting his body as if the yellow blood was somewhat similar to acid.

Even though both gladiators were using berserker form in the same manner, Speedy’s blood and body conflicted with Bloody’s blood. Speedy became momentarily incapacitated, yet this situation was only temporary as he hastily began shifting his muscle mass to fill in the missing gaps.

The mutated yellow blood projectiles reached Awa. She warmly smiled at Ester and told her, “I am sorry.” before pushing Ester with all her strength.

Awa’s back started condensing and hardening. A shield started taking form, but it was too late, and the toughness was not enough.

“Be safe...” Awa said before the projectiles reached her body. The forming shield on her back blocked a handful of projectiles. But many more projectiles pierced Awa’s shadow-like body.

Ester was still in mid-fall when she saw Awa’s body become riddled with holes. She also noticed the projectiles Awa used her body to intercept arch down quickly. The chances for Ester to get hit were greatly reduced.

Ester extended her hands. “No!” She exclaimed with a saddened wavering voice and tears in her eyes.

Ester’s mana became chaotic the more her emotions of sadness, frustration, and anger increased. Her sigil tattoos were deactivated, and her wind sigils were subconsciously activated.

Ester gasped while her eyes widened. She could feel a link to her weapon Elsir. Not only that, but the feeling Ester felt was similar to when Elsir was not in its dormant state.

Two blades hovered in the air. One had a dark blade, as dark as the void could be. The other blade shone brightly with the color white. On both blades was a small rune. They had the same appearance as Ester’s wind sigil.

The two-bladed moved independently.

The dark blade spun clockwise and reached Vincent in the nick of time. The projectiles disappeared as if they had never existed. Vincent and Kazumi were too astonished to think clearly.

The shining sword with a broken hilt moved toward Ester. As it moved, the wind surrounding the blade pierced any projectile in its way. The rest of the nearby projectiles affected by the wind had their path altered.

Ester fell to the ground. She swiftly moved her gaze to the hand, and her eyes blinked twice.

Ester couldn’t believe Elsir had awakened from its dormant state, rushed to her rescue, and the fabric on the hilt moved by the wind latched to her hand.

However, this situation was not over. Lupa’s golden eyes shone brighter, and blood oozed from her eyes, nose, and ears. Yet, her expressionless gaze remained the same.

Lupa curled her fingers and extended her claws. She swiftly turned around while swinging her claws at Speedy.

*Clank* Lupa saw sparks, minuscule fragments of a blade, and her claws flying.

Lupa was unfazed to have her attack blocked by a sword. With great speed, Lupa swung her other arm, yet Speedy moved the second sword to block her attack.

Lupa could feel she had reached her limits. She could feel the control over her limbs was diminishing, and her senses were worsening at an alarming rate.

Lupa placed all her strength in her leg. After suffering from many fake attacks, Lupa proceeded with a fake claw swing.

Her claws were damaged, yet because Lupa attacked with her instincts, with or without claws, most people would believe her fake attack would be a real attack before the last moment.

Speedy moved one sword to block Lupa’s attack while the other sword raised to deliver a death blow.

As both proceeded with their attacks, Speedy saw Lupa’s arm stop and her foot suddenly rise while becoming blurry, showing Lupa was putting all her power into this one last move.

The foot soon connected to a pair of balls. Speedy contorted his face from the overbearing sensation of pain.

All of the male audience spectating the fight, even Vlad, reacted as if they had just been kicked in the nuts. The more the men thought it was a manly killer blow, the more of a reaction they expressed.

Lupa did not let the opportunity of Speedy bending and the trembling hands barely holding the swords slip by. She lowered her leg to the ground before lunging at Speedy’s neck.

*Chomp* Lupa took the largest bite she could and ripped a large chunk of Speedy’s neck. Blood gushed out, covering Lupa red with a hint of yellow.

Speedy was too injured to shift his muscles and stop the bleeding. The wounds he received from Bloody had crippled the monstrous ability to move his muscles. The kick to the nuts was the cherry on top.

Lupa fell to the ground. Her eyes closed, and she didn’t move an inch.

Speedy took a few steps back while his view became blurry and shaky. His legs momentarily lost strength, and he fell on his back. A patch of blood continuously grew larger, and his breathing lessened.

Speedy took his last breath a few seconds later.

Vincent was staring at the dark sword in front of him. As he was looking at the status window of the dark sword with a shocked expression, he heard a loud thud in front of him. As he moved his gaze, he saw Lupa on the ground.

Vincent rushed to Lupa’s side. He looked at her status window, and a deep frown appeared on his face.

*Whistle* After Vincent whistled, Zero, extended vine after the other from the ground. Each vine arched over Lupa. One after the other, the vines collected, and Lupa was protected by a dome made of vines.

“Lupa needs to have a good rest thanks to you. ” Vincent said while standing up and glaring at Speedy’s corpse.
