I activated the only skill I could use.

"[Fog]"

The effect of the skill created a light fog around the enemy goblin.

"Now is the time! Please take care of it"

"Leave it to me!"

The rest of the members attacked simultaneously to subjugate the goblin.

"[Fireball]"

The goblin, whose vision was obstructed by the effect of the Fog, took the direct hit from the incoming fist-sized Fireball and faltered from the impact.

Then, another person used that opening to approach from behind and immediately slashes at the goblin.

"[Wave Blade]"

It seemed that one sword slash from behind caught its vital parts, and the goblin disappeared just like that.

"Michitaka-san aced it again!"

"Ahh, Rin was also pretty good"

"Thank you very much"

I am Yamaoki Rin, and I am 16 years old. As a survivor, I am only at Lv1, which is the bottom.

On March 3, 2033, at 1:24 AM (Japan Time), the world had changed.

At midnight of that day, strange-looking enemies called monsters suddenly appeared all over the world.

I found out later that monsters emerged from the space rooms called gates and attacked people. Because of the attack from the mysterious monsters that suddenly appeared, Japan, as a whole, was thrown into chaos.

Although the first wave was suppressed at the cost of considerable damage by the strenuous effort of the police and JSDF forces, the invasion of monsters continued intermittently after that, and the population of Japan decreased to 80 million.

And then, at the same time as the monster invasions, some changes had occurred in humankind.

Just as in the game world, some people with 'Status' and 'Skills' who can oppose monsters started to appear.

To supplement the reduced military strength caused by the frequent monster invasions, the government established an organization made up of people who possess supernatural abilities called Survivor with an unprecedented speed.

Here is my Status.

Just then, when I got [Faker] skill, I was pleased thinking I got a Special ability that can use various skills, but that was a big mistake.

The skill imitated by [Faker] couldn't display even half of its original effect.

I tried imitating common offensive magic skills such as [Fireball]. Unfortunately, it was not powerful enough to defeat monsters.

On the contrary, I almost got killed because it got me the wrath of the monsters.

So now, I am doing my best at assisting other survivors by using [Fog], which is one sort of battle debuff skill. Even so, for a level 1 like me, I can only use that skill three times a day.

Because monsters drop magic stones and sometimes items, those have become a source of income for survivors.

By the way, a goblin’s magic stone is worth about 10,000 yen. Still, that money will be distributed between 3 people since the goblin was defeated by the three of us.

But my share as a supporter is only 2,000 yen.

"Then, I will be looking forward to next time too"

"Okay, see you again"

Today too, I returned home after receiving my money.

Although I am afraid to say it, for someone like me who doesn't have direct means of attacking, it is hard to enter a party, and also the treatment I get is poor too.

But this party is very special because other party members let me stay as a temporary member until they level up.
