The flame thunder fired from a close range directly hit the red lizardman without being cut down. The attack evaporated a portion of its scales, bore a large hole in its flank, and sent it flying.

[Voltaic Fire] was effective even on lizardmen.

I fired [Explosion] at the body of the fallen lizardman and burned its flesh.

“Jyaaaaaa~.”

Along with the smell of burnt flesh, I heard the death throes of the lizardman, and it disappeared just like that.

With this, only one left. We can do it. Almost as soon as I thought that, I heard a voice with an out-of-place tone.

Eh? This voice, isn’t it from that woman? What happened to the lizardman?

I turned my gaze in the direction of the voice. But there, the lizardman was already on its knees in a tattered condition.

The woman was looking at me with a nonchalant air and her countenance not changing even the slightest bit.

Did she overwhelm the lizardman, the same monster we had to struggle against so much, by herself?

When the woman activated her skill, the red lizardman was immediately split in half. (T/N: red?)

As it was called [Wind Wheel], I thought it was similar to the wind-type skill, [Wind Cutter]. But its power was ridiculous.

It severed a D-rank lizardman in a single blow.

Even the original [Wind Cutter] used by Aoi didn’t have that much power.

“Please burn. [Explosion].”

I stopped moving in shock due to what had happened. But Aoi was still in the middle of a battle with another lizardman.

I immediately switched my gear and went to help Aoi.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Aoi.”

“No, as expected of Rin-kun. The enemy is already above D-rank. Besides, that person……”

“Yeah, she is outrageously strong. Perhaps, she never needed our help in the first place. Anyways, let’s defeat this guy first.”

“We will go with the same tactic from earlier. Aoi, stop its movement!”

Aoi activated her skills at the lizardman and dealt damage.

Although it wasn’t fatal, the damage was certainly accumulating in the lizardman’s body.

I closed the distance to the lizardman while firing my skill. And the moment I entered its melee range, I fired a flame thunder.

Since Aoi had already dealt damage to the lizardman, a single flame thunder was all it took to terminate the lizardman.

“As expected, you guys are amazing~. Only a few could reach D-rank at your age~.”

From behind, I heard an out-of-place light-toned voice once again.
