This is also your home

Ryan showed a flattered expression, seemingly surprised, and then it instantly turned into gloom. “…I am not worthy of you.”

He summoned up courage and said, “You are the Marshal of the Empire, so you should have a better partner.”

Chu Yuwen stared at him as he said with certainty, “You are my marked omega, and that is enough for me to have eyes for you.”

That is enough from you, I do not have eyes for you. Thank you very much.

Yan Weiliang held back the urge to throw a punch. He repeatedly warned himself that he was in an omega body now, so he could not use force.

Ryan timidly said, “It is just a temporary mark. It will fade in a few days.”

An alpha bites an omega’s glands and injects its pheromone, which is considered a temporary mark. This kind of mark does not last long and its effects are not deep, as it usually disappears in a few weeks.

The lifelong mark is more complex. An alpha must form a knot in an omega’s reproductive cavity to create an eternal contract. Such an AO pairing is usually a lifelong partner.

What Chu Yuwen did to him was not as intimate as the latter, but far more excessive than the former.

They were one knot short of getting to the latter.

Yan Weiliang suspected that the reason why Chu Yuwen did not mark him completely was that the other man could not find his reproductive cavity.

No alpha has a reproductive cavity, and the chemical agents could not just magically make an organ for him appear out of thin air.

But Lord Marshal was also inexperienced in this aspect as he probably had not grasped an omega’s physiological structure. He may be too embarrassed to make known his failed attempt to find the reproductive cavity’s location.

Chu Yuwen’s tone rose slightly, “You mean, you want me to mark you for life?”

Ryan lowered his gaze. “I did not mean that.”

There was absolutely something wrong with Chu Yuwen’s brain circuit.

Chu Yuwen said, “That means you want to be my wife.”

“I did not—”

“Then does Ryan want to know,” Chu Yuwen interrupted him with a smile, “What kind of flowers are on the graves of those unrelated parties that were in my study?”

The smile was extremely gentle but sent a slight chill down anyone’s back, a reminder of this alpha’s identity.

The Marshal could end life without batting an eye, and never grant mercy to an exposed undercover agent.

Ryan quickly sang a different tune, “I am more interested in the matter of becoming your wife.”

Chu Yuwen was very satisfied with his attitude. “Very good. We will apply for marriage registration tomorrow.”

“You must be tired from today.” Chu Yuwen’s manner towards his fiancee was very friendly, with not a trace of cold-blooded Marshal on his face from before. “Have the servant lead you to the bathroom. Tonight, it’s my deepest regret that you have to stay in the guest room. After our registration tomorrow, I will grant you all the authority belonging to the mistress of the house.”

“I have been very busy lately, so I will make up for the wedding later, okay?” The dark golden eyes were filled with an intoxicating tenderness.

Yan Weiliang: Is it possible for such a good thing to happen?

He was extremely touched by the news of getting permission to stay in the Marshal’s mansion alone.

As for the wedding, who cares?

Ryan softly said, “Whatever you think is best.”

So far, Ryan’s words and behavior have been flawless. But with his presence in the study, there was no way the youth could wash off his suspicion.

“I checked his identity again. The person sent his address, so I did a thorough investigation, and everything matched up with the provided information. Everything from his past, social circle, and school records are clean. Not a single red sign. “The housekeeper received the order to confirm Ryan’s identity as early as five hours ago.

In the past, when a spy or assassin was caught, they would be able to completely dig up the person’s real identity and who instructed them within an hour. This time there was no clue.

Even the security cameras and other guards could not give the reason as to how the youth appeared in the study.

“It seems that the enemy this time is not simple.” Chu Yuwen did not show any emotional turmoil, just stating a fact.

He had encountered countless strong enemies, but none of them was able to successfully defeat him.

The housekeeper smelled the residual pheromones in the air as his face morphed slightly. “You marked him?”

“More than that.” Chu Yuwen gently tabbed the table with his knuckles. “I also want to register with him.”

The housekeeper was confused. “But sir, you never leave a hidden danger by your side.”

“I have people think of ways to send me omegas every day, and it was starting to get annoying. Marrying one can stop their intentions and shut their mouth. “Chu Yuwen stated as he handled the official business transmitted from his optical computer, using an indifferent tone, “Since we cannot get to the bottom of his identity, I will just have to keep him close for observation, so that the people behind the scenes do not pull any more tricks from their sleeves. I will play along with them.”

The housekeeper set his mind at rest. Lord Marshal considered all of his actions.

“Moreover,” Chu Yuwen added, “he is really cute, don’t you think?”

The housekeeper was slightly worried. “I hope you did not fall for him…”

Chu Yuwen glanced at his employee. “Joel, you better not have unrealistic ideas.”

He was only falling for how sweet the little guy was.

A relieved smile appeared on the housekeeper’s face.

He forgot that the Lord Marshal had no conscience.

He should pray that the poor and frail Omega does not instead give his heart to the Lord Marshal.

At that moment, the ‘poor and weak’ omega was lying in the bathtub, with his beautiful fingers gently resting on the rim of the tub. If not for his restricted strength, the sturdy space porcelain under his hand would have been crushed.

The fully automatic bathtub washed his skin as the machine nozzle poured in the shower gel and massage cream, using the soft brushes to clean a person’s body in all directions.

Ryan soaked in the warm and comfortable foam with his eyes curiously fixed on the machine nozzle. From time to time, he could carefully poke it with his finger, as if he had never seen such a high-tech product.

The Blue Planet, the main planet of the Empire, was divided into ten districts. The upper three districts were inhabited by royalty, aristocrats, powerful ministers, and some wealthy businessmen. The middle three districts were inhabited by civilians, while the lower three districts were inhabited by criminals, scums, and occasionally roaming space pirates.

The Tenth District had the worst environment and was deserted.

The social status was very clearly set.

The higher the district, the richer the available resources. The cost of this bathtub alone was beyond what the civilians in the middle third district could earn in their lifetime. Ryan played the role of a child growing up in the Fourth District very well, his reaction to opening the door to a new world.

Regardless of whether Chu Yuwen suspected him or not, he could not reveal his true self.

Chu Yuwen stared at Ryan’s movements on the monitor. The boy’s skin was white and milky, and there were ambiguous strawberry marks on his neck and collarbone. The bath water that was mixed with medicine slowly washed over the body, removing all marks on the body.

Maybe from the ticklish brush, but the boy began to laugh. His eyes curved with joy, and his child-like simplicity made him very innocent.

Chu Yuwen chuckled and closed the monitoring screen.

He did not have the habit of peeping into someone’s bath.

It is just that people are in their most relaxed and vulnerable state during a bath. He thought he could find some clues from it, but he did not expect that the little guy was quite guarded and showed no flaws even when he was alone.

He returned his focus to the documents, but his brain kept returning to the white and tender skin, skin that could only be nourished by soaking in milk.

And the little red mark on the collarbone.

Like a captivating cake that emits an irresistible aroma.

It is a good thing he did not continue watching.

Any longer and he would need a bath as well.

A cold bath at that.

When Chu Yuwen turned off the camera, the camera’s light spot was turned off inside a nozzle in the bathtub.

The feeling of being watched was gone.

Yan Weiliang’s smile slowly withdrew, stopping the kind of stupidity that comes from never seeing the world.

Even if his mental power was restrained, his innate instinct could help him detect those eyes hidden in the shadows.

He leaned against the bathtub, slightly raised his head, closed his eyes, and sank into the water.

The water drowned over his chin, lips, nose, eyes…

Water could close five senses.

Yan Weiliang used to be able to hold his breath underwater for more than two hours.

But now, his face would redden in just ten minutes as he opened his eyes and sat up suddenly, creating a splash of water that trickled down along his hair and the outline of his face.

The beautiful boy stayed silent with gloom. The gorgeous amber eyes were warm, but they were too cold to look directly at.

Great, he confirmed again that his current body was no match for Chu Yuwen.

After enjoying a suffocating near-death experience, he finally calmed down completely.

Nothing mattered more than life.

He was only getting pressed down by another alpha. The facts could not be changed, so he simply used this to seek more benefits for himself.

Yan Weiliang, the Third Prince of the Empire, had always been able to keep a cool head in any situation and do anything to achieve his goal.

Even if he loses ninety-nine, he must take back a hundred from his enemy.

The big bed in the guest room was soft and comfortable. If it was the master bedroom, it would be more luxurious. Yan Weiliang slept one night without feeling anything. As a royalty, his material life was not much worse than this.

But when sitting at the breakfast table, when Chu Yuwen asked how he slept last night, Ryan replied, “Very good…the bed is very comfortable.”

“The bed back at home was never this soft.” He added in a whisper.

“From now on, this is also your home.” Chu Yuwen said.

Ryan looked up in confusion. His eyes were uneasy about his foreign surroundings, and a hint of disbelief.

This was a normal reaction for a civilian to come to an aristocrat’s home for the first time and be told that he could live there for a long time.

Chu Yuwen observed Ryan’s eyes and microexpressions, thinking that if he was not a spy, he would have become a top actor.

One who would be popular all over the galaxy.

Who could resist a face like this?

Ryan put on the clothes prepared by the housekeeper, dressed in a tailored suit with a bow tied at the collar. A head full of fluffy and soft brown curly hair, a smooth and squishy face with exquisite facial features. Not even the hottest actor in the Empire has such captivating attributes.

He was the most beautiful boy in this outfit to sign their marriage registration.

Chu Yuwen cut a piece of steak, picked it up with his fork, and passed it to Ryan’s mouth. “Here.”

Ryan obediently opened his mouth and accepted the steak, but not before staining his lips with the black pepper sauce. Instead of using the napkin that was out of his reach, with quick thinking, he quietly poked out his tongue and licked away the sauce.

He showed an expression of savoring every taste.

Chu Yuwen’s eyes darkened.

Ryan was also very sloppy with his dining etiquette. The civilians living in the middle and third districts were not used to enjoying delicious meals. They often drink tasteless nutritional supplements that could satisfy their hunger at best.

There was a wide gap between the rich and the poor in the Empire, and the aristocrats and civilians were at two extremes. The commoners worked hard all year long to earn pennies, while the aristocrats were a group of pleasure-seeking, extravagant vermin.

There must be equal rights in the Empire soon, otherwise, it will destroy itself.

To overthrow the aristocrats, the royal family must disappear.

Ryan was not used to using knives and forks, so Chu Yuwen slowly cut pieces of steak and fed them to him little by little. His patients were like a mother and her young baby.

“Drink some milk to grow higher.”

“Eat some fruit for nutrition.”

Like a good boy, Ryan followed each word and ate it bite by bite. His cheeks bulged, like a cute hamster trying to chew food and giving people a beautiful display of enjoyment.

Chu Yuwen had a look of satisfaction. He now felt that taking care of this little guy was the greatest pleasure of his life.

Whether driving mecha to fight or fighting in close combat, none of them were as interesting as watching Ryan eat.

Chu Yuwen had a little understanding of the psychology of those who like to watch eating live streams on the Star Network.

On the other hand, the housekeeper’s eyes were about to jump out of their sockets.

This was not the Lord Marshal he knew.

Someone’s soul must have transmigrated into that body.
