Chapter 142 - 142 Chapter 142

142 Chapter 14Olivia read it silently, word after word. Then she repeated it again, and when she was done she exhaled too. Then she turned to Aryan “Could it all be true?” she asked holding Aryan’s hand with outmost calmness, it’s like she was soothing her.

“I have to find out” said Aryan then she suddenly stood up. Everyone at the table stood up, then she excused herself and walked away. Olivia followed her and they walked side by side to their chambers.

Rush was upstairs looking down on Aryan and Olivia strolling side to side, she was jealous of their connection which seemed to grow after the tragedy Aryan faced. They were always together like a mother and her infant child, she never got to have alone moment with Aryan ever since she was crowned Queen.

Five Queensguards followed behind too but they remained at the door when Aryan and Olivia stormed inside their chamber.

“I have to leave and find this baker, as soon as possible before he leaves Whitebridge” said Aryan.

“Must you really? You can send one of your loyal knights to do the task, you are a Queen now” Olivia resisted. “If you are gone, who will you leave the kingdom to?”

“You” Aryan said without thinking.

Then there was an awkward silence between the two, Aryan even stopped looking for her clothes and paused for a moment. “Me? They will tear me to pieces if you leave me here all alone. I don’t know how to rule, I’m not as strong as you Aryan” said Olivia terrified for what’s to come.

Aryan sighed and walked to her, then she leaned on and held her face in her arms. She reached out and kissed Olivia passionately, slowly and softly. This seemed to sooth her for a few seconds, Olivia kissed her back with her eyes closed and her arms wrapped around Aryan’s body, like she was pulling her to the side.

.....

This kiss was important to both of them since they hadn’t been connecting like before ever since the death of Gandalf. Olivia understood the agony that Aryan was experiencing during that time and also understood when Aryan disconnected herself from everything including her, now she was back.

They paused the kiss for a bit in order to catch their breath. Olivia had a huge smile on her lips “What was that for?” she asked looking up at Aryan, she was the shorter one but she liked to be towered by her girlfriend.

Aryan’s voice was thick and husky “I just felt like it was the right time” she said unaware of whether it was really a good time or she just messed things up. “I know I’ve been... unkind to you in the last few weeks. But I...”

“You don’t have to say anything Aryan, I would probably be in the same situation if I were you”

“I doubt it” Aryan kissed Olivia again “You are way too kind and I’m the stubborn one”

“In that way we fit perfectly” whispered Olivia and went on for another kiss again, this time she clearly wanted something more and Aryan noticed it.

It was already dark and close to midnight, few candles lit their chamber and the moonlight added on the soft light which bounced through the curtains. Aryan took Olivia’s dress off softly while kissing her, Olivia reached out for Aryan’s trouser and took it off. Then she took off Aryan’s shirt too. In the next few minutes they were on top of the bed covered in fur sheets, Aryan at the top and Olivia submitting to her at the bottom.

There were soft moans underneath the candle light, Olivia wasn’t a screamer and she loved to feel her pleasures in silence. She bit her lips, bit Aryan’s earlobes and urged her to keep going. Their private parts were deeply connected in such a way both of them knew it will only be a minute before one of them finishes, and it proved to be Olivia when she arched her back and moaned loudly, releasing it all while holding tight to Aryan’s back.

Like a true lion that she was, Aryan finished with a growl followed by heavy panting. Her muscles were so tightened and she felt the pleasure of having a woman by her side once more after denying them for quite sometime. A smile escaped from her lips while looking at Olivia.

Then Aryan whispered “I love you” and she clearly meant it. Olivia hugged her tight like she would never let go. That night was perhaps the best of nights for them, they made love the whole night until the first light without exhaustion. None of them fell asleep not even once.

Aryan said her goodbyes to Olivia and promised her she will come back soon, she stormed out of the palace with just her horse, her sword, two knives which she stacked them in her boots and a long black cloak which covered her head. She aimed for the harbor right there in Raven where she may board a ship to Whitebridge without anyone noticing her.

The harbor isn’t usually crowded during that early time of the day, it’s exactly what she needed for privacy. Her ship, the Stormbreaker was at the dock and she urged sailors to ready her as soon as possible so they may leave.

For a journey across the Silent Sea even for an experienced sailor as Aryan she knew she will need food, medicines, clean water and lots of weapons to defend themselves if they were to ever be ambushed by pirates. The journey would take them a fortnight if the winds are kind, but if they are not... then a moon turn.

Even though she was crowned Queen that didn’t prevent Aryan from taking part in organizing her ship. She climbed masts, tied knots, scrubbed the decks, pulled the oars and raised the sails. Then she took part in navigating and steering the ship. Her men called her “Captain” and gave her the respect she needed.

Aryan and her men stayed at the dock for that part of the whole afternoon organizing and filling it with essential things needed. They were set to sail by evening, Aryan sent a note to Olivia and informed her that she will sail that evening. Then she went on to sleep below the decks as she waited for her men to finish packing the ship.

That’s when an unexpected guest arrived, it was none other than Rush. Aryan was stunned in seeing her there inside the ship, she asked “How did you find me?” the moment Rush walked inside her deck dressed in green silk dress with a black cloak on top. Her eyes reddish and her skin pale, it seemed like she’s been spending a significant amount of time crying.

“You are not that hard to find Your Grace” replied Rush, her voice cracking and unease. “Were you really going to leave? Without saying goodbye — to me?” there was a somber tone in Rush’s voice.

Aryan sighed “I don’t have to say goodbye to you, or anyone. It’s a discreet mission”

“Where are you going?”

“To Whitebridge”

“Whitebridge? Why?” Rush inquired, but Aryan ignored her.

“You have to go. We will be leaving soon”

Rush pleaded “Take me with you then”

“I can’t”

“Kings take their mistresses and whores whenever they leave. Why can’t you?”

“Because you are not my mistress Rush. Whatever happened that day —” Aryan paused. She looked at Rush’s face which was sweet and pale, almost too good to be hurt. But she still insisted “Whatever happened that day was a mistake” she said lowering her eyes.

The tears which Rush had been holding for quite sometime seemed to be coming out in full speed now, like a cataract of water over a broken dam. “A mistake that saved your life” she wept hysterically.

“Yes it did, but it’s still a mistake. You know what, I’ve been thinking all this time. Why would she call me to her chambers when she knew it was my name day, did you do it because you knew the cake was poisoned?” Aryan faced Rush in such a way they were too close to each other. “Tell me Rush, did you know it? Was it a way to save me while you let my brother die?”

Instead of addressing to the slanders and accusations made by Aryan. Rush was so furious that she found herself slapping Aryan hard while tears fell down between her cheeks. “I long for you, day and night. I have never cherished anyone as I do you in my entire life and you would even think that I... I would die for you Aryan, and not the otherwise” she finished and stormed out of the ship crying and sprinting away.

Some of the sailors heard of their fight, but these men weren’t just like any other men — they have been loyal to Aryan for over ten years. Her secret was safe, but she feared that she had lost Rush forever.
