536 “So you love my wife?....

There were no wedding bells anywhere but Yi Chen could swear he heard them ringing. His face changed from that of shock to excitement. His fingers brushed against the material stirring his heart.

The federation had no particulars when it came to wedding attires. Some wore the simplest of clothes and others wore extravagant outfits that could only be worn once. The cultural traits of the outfits were purely determined by either preference or family history.

Yi Chen never thought of these things. He always thought his mother would pick these things for him. If she said he should wear a suit he would go with the flow as long as his mother and future wife were happy. He never thought he would be emotionally invested in his wedding until he met Zi Han.

He wanted to be a part of it and make Zi Han happy. If Zi Han wanted black he would fight his mother to the end and let his lover wear black.

What he wanted full control of though was the bridal chamber. He never cared for it before but the day he fell in love with Zi Han he knew he would be responsible for this.

This was why he agreed to Zi Han’s deal taking a risk to find that ring in the shortest amount of time possible. That way he could veto the bridal chamber and give Zi Han a gift he would never forget.

Yi Chen smiled like a wolf that had managed to get its bunny in his set trap. His fingers brushed past the extremely elaborate gold embroidery on the red material as he imagined Zi Han wearing it.

They would undoubtedly make the most handsome grooms and he couldn’t wait for the day anymore. He picked up the ring and asked Raylan to take a picture of it.

Yi Chen scrolled through the pictures and picked one that showed part of the wedding attire. He immediately posted it on StarNet with the tag #Gettingmarried.

With a satisfied smile, he walked out of the armoury with the ring back on his fingers.

There wasn’t any need to explain what sort of explosion occurred on StarNet. There were a lot of well-wishers with some directly blowing fireworks on the virtual net for their Marshal.

Among all this chaos there was one comment that drowned within the sea of well-wishers. Most people wouldn’t notice it but Yi Chen could smell a rat from a mile away.

He directly called Li Ran and the person himself started to panic like a dog before a storm.

He was there on Cetus when Yi Chen woke up but he was so terrified that he didn’t dare come over. Yi Chen was a little puzzled at first.

When he came back from the Republic without his memories he thought he sent the messages to Zi Han.

But when he regained his memories and went through the messages he had with Zi Han again he found out the truth. This was why his best friend who had been following him around since they were kids had suddenly disappeared.

“You are finally willing to show yourself now?” asked Yi Chen when the call was picked up.

“I I I I... Chen-ge wuwuwu... I was wrong. I was really wrong,” he said almost kowtowing on the floor despite not being able to be seen by him.

“So you love my wife? Is that it?” he asked and Li Ran almost cried tears of blood. He knew better than anyone else how possessive and jealous this person was when it came to Zi Han. He saw this coming but at the time he was desperate.

“Then you and me one on one tonight. You better be on the Han by dusk,” he directly said and Li Ran who was even more afraid of Zi Han than Yi Chen cried out.

“Uh dage, can’t we meet on Cetus? I am afraid I won’t be welcome on Han,” said Li Ran already seeing his life flash in his eyes. He should have known better than to mess with Zi Han. Now he was paying the price.

“Why do you think I am bringing you here? It’s so that you show your sincerity otherwise if you let things ferment he would just get even angrier. If you want to be at my wedding you should apologise to your saozi,” he said and Li Ran could understand.

He had to apologise but what he didn’t realise was that Zi Han was very petty and the punishment was partially orchestrated by his (Li Ran’s) girlfriend. On her own Hela was fine but when she got together with Zi Han it was a disaster waiting for him.

Yi Chen finished his call with Li Ran just as he was reaching Zi Han’s cabin. Before he could enter he felt a chill spread all over his body. That’s because he had pissed off the same person twice. He had managed to ruin his father in law’s plan two times.

First with that live broadcast where he was showing Zi Han tender affection and second with that announcement.

Yeoh Jun shouldn’t be childish and compete with children but damn he couldn’t help it. After he solely declared himself Emperor and was clothed by the Marshal as per custom, he directly grabbed Zi Xingxi’s waist and pulled her close before directly kissing her lips.

He meant for it to be a fleeting kiss but after kissing she really tasted good. As though making up for the wedding kiss he didn’t get to have he really kissed her until she was out of breath. You know weddings are the only place where one can thoroughly display their affection. They get to kiss with all eyes on them as the stars of the show. He very much wanted a wedding kiss.

This move directly overtook the Marshal’s announcement. That’s because the woman who always appeared pissed off in all news broadcasts was actually kissed till her ears turned red. Even the prime ministers who had directly felt her anger were shocked beyond words.

This was a woman who never listened to any of them and had what they deemed as violent tendencies. Yet this same woman was obediently letting the emperor do as he pleased. Unbelievable!
