Volume 1 - CH 2

At the end of the deserted road, a pitch-black motorcycle dashed from the end of the road connected to the stars with a roar, like a black panther on a hunt—the Nordic Goddess 1800, a super heavyweight high horsepower cruiser produced in the United States, only 2500 were produced, and it was once one of Chairman Yan Yi’s precious motorcycles.

The motorcycle tilted and turned, a sharp sound of tires rubbing against the asphalt interrupted the silence, and it stopped abruptly on the side of the road. Bai Chunian took off his helmet, raised his hand, and swept his short hair back casually. Over the t-shirt, he put on a black waistcoat. He had a leather gun belt fastened on both sides of his legs, and a desert eagle gun inserted in each of the holsters.

On a whim, he once asked the chairman for this motorcycle to play. Now that he thought about it, he had never taken his favorite omega for a ride on it. There were countless hot and passionate omega agents in the alliance, it was time to settle down and have a relationship.

After several heavy rainstorms in May, the weather became hot and humid early in the morning, and a thin layer of sweat accumulated on his body. Bai Chunian sat on the ground with a helmet and lit a cigarette. He lifted the hem of his t-shirt and fanned himself, revealing a bit of his thin and athletic waist. The muscles that had been exercised in extreme tasks over the years were superbly crafted[1], which was completely different from the flower vases[2] raised by equipment and protein powder in the gym.

There was a long scar extending from the front of his chest to the side of his waist. The densely stitched scar was a bit shallower now, but it still looked terrifying; one couldn’t help but imagine how serious it once was.

Inadvertently touching this scar, Bai Chunian drove the cigarette butt into the sand to stub it out and sighed lightly.

That omega was a good boy, and he was even more affectionate when making love. He would wrap his waist tightly with his small fishtail, and his blue eyes were covered with a layer of mist as if he was about to cry in pain. Bai Chunian was often reluctant to make him bear any pain, kissing and rubbing his neck to comfort him, wishing to let all the soothing pheromones in his glands out to comfort him.

After three years of absence, he probably had grown up, maybe he looked better than before, maybe he was more unrelenting and indifferent.

Don’t think about it anymore.

Bai Chunian glanced at the position on his watch. There was only a huge ruin in front of him.

The scattered piles of debris on the outskirts of the city were due to the bad quality of the amusement park, which caused the deaths of a teacher and students from a junior high school class, and so the amusement park was abandoned. The original color of the rusty carousel and the Ferris wheel with broken pillars couldn’t be seen anymore.

There was a small aquarium in the southeast corner of the amusement park. The exterior of the sea-blue-colored walls was mottled and ragged, but the quality of the gate was obviously not terrible—it was a reinforced and thickened alloy bulletproof door, and the two flashing red lights on the canopy were surveillance cameras, searching for suspicious movements in a 360° view.

The layout of the aquarium had been transformed, with most of the pebble corridors and glass walls removed and discarded. Most of the display tanks had been dried up and discarded. Only the display tank originally meant for a beluga was lit by a row of dim LED lights.

The display tank was filled with murky seawater about three meters deep, which exuded a fishy smell because it hadn’t been replaced for a long time. Several pieces of dead coral reefs piled up on the bottom of the water.

Suddenly, a sound wave resembling the song of a whale came from a crack in the reef, showing a humanoid silhouette slowly swimming upwards in the tank—

This strange creature had a man’s slender upper body, but the lower body was a three-meter blue fishtail that looked like a wide dress.

His eyes were closed, his golden hair rippled in the water, brushing against his snow-white cheeks. Except for a thin layer of translucent webs growing between his fingers, his body was just like an ordinary omega, with a slender waist and graceful, delicate arms.

The merman rose slowly from the bottom of the water, and a few silver jellyfish floated around him.

His tail was translucent, clearly exposing the uniformly arranged fish bones, spikes, and some bright red intestinal viscera in the fishtail. The delicate blood vessels exuded a pale blue light, flashing in the quiet darkness like a moving electric light.

When the merman swam to the height of two meters above the bottom of the tank, his neck was suddenly strangled. There was a steel collar tied around his neck, and the other end of the chain was tied to the heavy anchor decoration at the bottom of the tank.

He wanted to tear off the obstructive collar locked on his neck. The anti-escape device on the steel collar automatically released a strong electric current as he struggled. The sudden electrical shock was extremely painful. He twisted his body violently in the water until he exhausted all his strength. His body loosened and slowly sank to the bottom, lying on the dead coral, spasming slightly.

Outside the display tank, an Alpha with half of his face covered in burn scars climbed up the feeding ladder. He bowed his body and pulled up the iron chain from the bottom of the water, tugging the merman out of the water and holding him in his hands roughly to show to the boss sitting underneath.

The merman had been tossed this way countless times and had no strength to resist. Then he was forced to raise his head by Scarface Alpha who pulled his hair, revealing a very delicate face.

He was not as sweet and delicate as most omegas, and his tired and cold expression revealed a resistant temperament making it seem like no one could get close.

“Please look at it. Although we made him suffer a bit, we never touched this valuable face. You have to be considerate. It took us a long time to tie him to the water tank and put this on his neck. See this collar? If you turn it on, it will give him an electric shock if he’s not obedient, without leaving any wounds.” Scarface Alpha rolled up his cuffs, revealing a few nail scratches on his arms, and smiled gloomily. “Look at how it scratched me, he is fierce but hot. All bosses like this type.”

An abandoned performance stage was left empty in front of the merman’s display tank. After being cleaned, it was turned into a simple reception room. The air was filled with several different alpha pheromones, as well as the sultry smell of smoke and coffee.

The buyer finally moved his greedy gaze away from the merman’s waist. He held his bloated beer belly and let out a puff of smoke slowly. He raised his chin and contemptuously advised the scarred-face man sitting on the single sofa, “Mermaid omega… is indeed a rare plaything, the elites must be interested and the price definitely won’t below. But I don’t want to trade here, just to be safe.”

Scarface Alpha looked unhappy when he heard this. He threw the merman back into the water, sat on the steps of the feeding platform with his legs wide open, and began to pick dirt from his nails with a switchblade. He said in an uncaring tone:

“What are you afraid of? There are seven or eight infrared monitors outside, and three bullet-proof doors are arranged from the entrance to here. Don’t think of us as traffickers kidnapping girls off the street. This industry has grown up and has everything. Don’t worry, there are hundreds of brothers guarding around, with five M2 alpha beasts here, even a mosquito can’t fly in. As long as the money is there, we will safely escort you out of the country with the merman.”

“It’s not the first time we do this business. Just go out and ask, I have traded about 8,000 if not 10,000 beauties. Who doesn’t want quality goods? Think about it. After passing this village, there will be no stores.[3]”

The beer belly boss licked his lips and looked over the merman inside the tank distrustfully. He noticed that a few mercenary bodyguards were standing behind him, and the two closest to him deliberately released high-grade pheromones to prove their ability. One of them was an M2 caracal alpha, and the other was an M2 lynx alpha. They were tall and their chest muscles stretched out the camouflage bulletproof vest.

Most human gland cells could only undergo first-grade differentiation (level J1), and a small number of elites could undergo second-grade differentiation (level M2) on the basis of first-order differentiation, which meant exponentially increasing combat power and differentiation ability. Each time they differentiate, they would obtain a differentiation ability that matched the biological characteristics of its glands.

Five high-level alpha mercenaries guarded this hidden and abandoned aquarium. The boss finally felt relieved and opened the laptop to prepare for the remittance.

Suddenly, the surveillance computer in the corner that had been running smoothly made a warning sound. Scarface Alpha frowned slightly and glanced at the surveillance video, but all eight surveillance images were normal. Just as he raised his chin and ordered a mercenary to contact the guards outside to report the situation, a monitoring screen in the upper left corner of the computer suddenly turned into a signal error screen.

“What’s the matter?” Scarface Alpha’s brows tightened. He put away the switchblade, and his eyes fell on the rest of the monitor screens on the computer.

Immediately afterward, eight monitoring screens failed one after another, and the screens all turned into glitch screens.

Scarface Alpha stood up abruptly, pressed the communicator to contact the bodyguards at the entrances and exits of the aquarium.

“Team A? Report the situation, quickly.”

“Team F? What happened?”

None of the six teams of guards outside responded to him. Scarface Alpha cursed, kicked the box with ammunition beside his foot, pulled out an AK47 from it, and held it in his hand. The high-level alphas in the room all took out their guns, and the airtight room was filled with the oppressive high-level alphas’ pheromones.

The beer belly boss squatted down to the bottom of the steps with his laptop in his hand and yelled in panic, “What’s the situation? I’ve sent the money. You have to keep me safe! Didn’t you say that it’s safe?” He shivered, raising his voice to hide his fear, and then he murmured to console himself, “Is it the police? The three bullet-proof doors aren’t so easy to break through… There must be a back door, there must be other exits to go out safely, hurry, take me away if I don’t go back on time, my superiors…”

“Shut up.” Scarface Alpha gave a gloomy look.

No one said anything anymore, and there was a minute of silence in the narrow room; it was so quiet that they could almost hear the occasional audible soft sound of sweat dripping down on the butt of the rifle.

Everyone present felt an unfamiliar pheromone approaching the room at a constant speed. A faint scent of brandy spread in the air, gradually becoming denser and spicier, accompanied by a suffocating pressure.

This was the smell of oppressive pheromones released by the intruder.

The three bullet-proof doors were indeed not easy to breakthrough, but this oppressive scent was indeed closing in on their location without obstacles, and Scarface Alpha’s hand holding the gun exuded a thin layer of sweat.

Beep beep.

The communicator hanging on the side of their cheeks rang, and the mercenaries who held their breath in the room cast vigilant gazes.

Sweat dripped down Scarface Alpha’s neck and into his neckline. He stood stiffly, stunned for ten seconds before switching on the communicator.

The voice of a young alpha came from the communicator, with a soft and frivolous tone:

“Can you hear me?”

Bai Chunian sat in the monitoring room, with a few unconscious monitoring personnel randomly stacked behind him. He knocked on the microphone and continued after confirming that the communication was on:

“The bulletproof door is too thick. I knocked for a long time and none of you greeted me, so I came in by myself. You’re welcome.”

“I’m here to pick up an omega. You should have already seen him. A merman with the human upper body and a fishtail below. He looks like a Nordic hybrid, but he’s actually a native of Honduras. Maybe you’re not willing to kill such a beautiful thing, but you’re making a mistake, the most beautiful things are the most vicious. A conservative estimate is that he has 124 lives on his hands, 123 of which were second-grade alphas.”

“There should be a suppressor inserted in his glands. You can live up to now only relying on this thing. You’re lucky that you didn’t pull his suppressor out of curiosity.”

“But you actually caught a creature more dangerous than a leaking nuclear bomb. Do you understand? He once cut a 20cm long wound on my body and I had to get forty stitches for it. I saw my own intestines flowing out to the ground that day, really.”

“My omega… is very fierce… Please give him to me. I’ll dispose of him safely.”
