Chapter 44: Black Forest

"Is there really such an outstanding student in my Profound Sky Academy!" President Zhou asked in surprise.

"Yes, uncle Zhou!" Jia Lan confirmed him.

"Wait, if he is leveling up so fast, it means he has at least a Ninth Rank Lord Levelled Battle Spirit. I never heard of such a student. Moreover, he is in your class, class C, how can it be possible?"

President Zhou suddenly noticed something was wrong so he immediately asked Jia Lan.

Jia Lan also shook her head and said, "That I also don't know and it doesn't matter at all."

"The thing I wanted to talk about is that this student of mine wants to go outside and adventure. He feels if he were to go outside, struggle, and fight his way to get resources for his cultivation, he will cultivate even faster!" Jia Lan explained.

"Nonsense! He should stay here in the academy and now that I know about his talent, we will provide him with more resources to nurture him. The outside world is too dangerous. President Zhou shook his head and immediately rejected Jia Lan's request.

Jia Lan nodded her head and after some other conversation, she left the principal's office.

The next day, after the class, Jia Lan told Qin Feng that she has gotten permission from the principal but he has to come back after one month to participate in the martial exam.

There are two types of exams in this world. One is Knowledge Exam while the other one is called the Martial Exam. Qin Feng was a Martial Warrior so naturally, he has to give the Martial Exam.

He said his thanks to Jia Lan and asked her where to start.

"You want to adventure, right!" Jia Lan asked and to respond to her, Qin Feng nodded his head.

Jia Lan then said, "At the distance of fifty kilometers in south, a forest starts. This forest is known as the Black Forest."

"There are many beasts from ordinary to king leveled beasts inside the Black Forest. There are also many opportunities hidden inside this forest. After earth changed, not only beasts and humans but plats also evolved. Some plants can be used as herbs to increase one's strength and some plants can be used to heal one's injuries."

"But plants can also be dangerous. Many plants are poisonous and some can even devour human fleshes. You have to be careful and vigilant every moment inside the Black Forest!"

While Jia Lan was explaining, she also noticed Qin Feng's shining eyes at the name of danger. She could only shake her head in helplessness as she has long noticed Qin Feng's spirit to fight.

After Jia Lan was done explaining, Qin Feng said, "Ok then, I will start from the Black Forest. Teacher Jia, thank you!"

Saying this, Qin Feng excitedly left the scene and ran toward the gate of the Profound Sky Academy to leave.

The moment Qin Feng left, President Zhou appeared in beside Jia Lan out of nowhere and said, "This kid is really as you said. His will to fight is really very strong. I just hope he will be alright and return safely!"

"He will!" Jia Lan said seriously and then the both of them also left their way.

On the other side, Qin Feng left the academy and rushed toward the Black Forest. He did not take any taxi as he was already an Intermediate Battle Spirit Warrior. His speed of traveling was no less than a taxi.

It was his first time running like this. Excitement could be clearly seen in his eyes. It was as if he was finally freed from prison after dozens of years of imprisonment.

He did not stop on his way toward the Black Forest. He continued to run. As he ran, he also checked how fast can he run. His speed of running also became faster and faster.

Just one hour later, he arrived at the place from where the Black Forest starts. He stopped here, looked at the forest, and said, "The Black Forest, here I am!"
