Chapter 224 - Meeting Her Parents!

As predicted by Jennifer earlier, she knew that something similar might take place. But so soon? That was already out of her expectation.

"They arrived yesterday, right?" Jennifer asked as she remembered that Austin told her about their arrival last day before they left the campground

Shooking his face, Austin apologetically replied back, "I guess, my contacts got this information when your parents actually tried to expose themselves. It seems that they had landed  long ago, probably it must have been a few days ago."

Nodding her head in understanding, Jennifer knew that it was very much possible that her parents went through hurdles to come here.

Moreover, she won't be even surprised that they took help from Lucas. Yet, they took such a big risk to arrive in this foreign land just to save her? She was taken back already and somewhat touched.

'At least they haven't forgotten that they do have a  daughter like me..' although back in her brain, she knew that they would still pressurize her to marry that monster.. 

But at the end of the day, they are her parents...

Letting a sigh escape from her mouth, Jennifer answered back, "So, they called you, to urge you to make a meeting happen with me?"

"Correct. Although they contacted Hannah, I was there too. So what they said… we are telling you the same." Austin said with much seriousness while making the precautions count too.

"But if I meet them, then Johnson's will know and their lives will be in danger.."

In response, both her friends disagreed. Staring at both of their faces, Jennifer sensed that they do have some plan devised in their mind.

Without withdrawing her gaze, she asked, "Tell me, what do you guys want?"

This time, Hannah expressed her plan and whatsoever she planned in the clearest way possible, "If your parents want to meet you, go ahead at least meet them. Know about what is planning, what have they decided and how did Lucas react. Ask what are they here to do? We will never know the answers to these questions until we take the step."

Jennifer opened her mouth to say but Hannah interrupted her, "Also, Jennifer, Austin has already made arrangements required. We can see them in the hotel in which they are staying. All we need is your agreement.."

Her lips slightly parted but no words came out. 

The two of them had the spark in their eyes, telling her that it would be best if she agreed.

At the time, she won't deny that her urge to meet her parents is steadily growing.

They are in this state, and she won't meet them? There is already enough mess around and the first person you wish to have by yourself is your parents. She wasn't different. 

"Alright, let us go where they are staying right now.."

On her agreement for the plan, the three of them successfully climbed down the ladder that was placed in the back garden. 

To avoid any kind of issues, Austin already switched off the camera of the back park and the gates. 

A car was parked for them on the back gate in which they all sat and rode the car in the direction of the hotel.

Throughout her journey, Jennifer constantly looked in the rear mirror many times. Rotating her face around to check if someone is following them.

Fortunately, nothing like this happened which gave her another relaxation.

Seeing the stressed look of hers, Austin told her, "Jennifer keep calm. Your parents will not like that their daughter is under so much pressure"

"But we can't deny that we are escaping. If they caught u-"

"They won't. Trust me on this at least.." At least? Jennifer shut her mouth after hearing this. 

Nowadays, each stage of her life is majorly dependent on him.

Day by day he is vibrantly young, his feelings in his speech were making her worried but at the same time, many things brought awkwardness too. 

Luckily, Hannah adjusted to it and made everyone around them ease out.

After thirty minutes of driving, the car was parked at the back end of one of the prestigious hotels of the state. 

Lifting her eyes, what came into her view was the huge building of the hotel. 'They are staying here? Aren't they putting themselves at risk of being exposed?' She found it dangerous but kept her word silent.

Rather, the three of them made their way inside the hotel to arrive in the corridor without any checking.

Austin led them to the fifth floor and getting out of the lift, the three of them walked towards the last room at the end of the corridor.

The door's number was written over it but seeing the same, made her somewhat nervous. "Click on the bell, Jennifer," Hannah whispered in her ears when she managed to do so with her shaky hand.

It wasn't easy when she immediately retreated her hand back when the bell rang inside the room. 

Her body started to get stiff at the thought of seeing her parent's face after so long already.

"Who is there?" A voice came from inside which surely made Jennifer take a step back. 

Hannah, from behind, held Jennifer in her embrace, "You are stronger than this, Jennifer.."

Was she? Jennifer thought but Austin replied first, "The King lives in hell."

"Name?"

"Austin. She…is with us.." Austin looked at Jennifer whose eyes never tire from the entrance door.

Gulping the leftover saliva in her mouth, she can't even feel her own fingers. 'Why am I feeling so damn nervous!? They are my parents!' Yet she is behaving as if she is a frightened kid.

The door from inside was slightly unlocked when the door was opened with a creek voice when the lady peeked at her from the little bit door.

Just the eyes were enough to make Jennifer's heart thud in her chest.

"Mu..Muma.."
